The Best and Worst school years of your life?

Here's mine:

BEST: 1994-95 (2nd grade)

WORST: 1998-99 (6th grade)

I only have experience up to my senior year of high school at this point, but I'd have to say that my least favorite year was 3rd grade and my favorite was 4th grade. It's all in the teacher.

EDIT: Eh, actually, 9th grade was the best, thinking about it more. Middle school felt like jail.

best: 9th i finally got out of my retched grade school and moved on to one of the best high schools ever. Possibly the only school where you can jokingly tell people (even teachers) to go to hell. And no one threatens to have you suspended.

Worst: 6th

Best was probably last year, 10th grade because that's the year they let us transfer over from the middle school to the high school but I figure my best year to come will be my senior year (or atleast I hope).

Worst (this seems to be a pattern) was 6th grade. Truth be told, 9th grade was a bad year grade wise and 11th grade has been insane with my advanced classes but 6th grade was harder than both years because of the insane amount of busy work we were assigned.

I hated eighth grade because I had so much work in English with my stupid project we had to work on for 50 hours.  But my best year was of course Kindergarten.  No explanation needed.

Best:  Freshman year at college.  The entire experience was pretty euphoric in terms of an overwhelming culture shock of "hey, I'm on my own now".  Sophomore year of high school was pretty awesome too; far enough in to not be a n00b, not far enough to have all the responsibilities of AP exams and SAT preparation.

Worst:  6th grade.  Incredible amounts of homework, most of which wouldn't even be collected.  This year's also quite stressful - junior year of college - in that I'm not doing particularly well in anything.

Best: 9-12, because I FINALLY got the nice, empathetic teachers and protective school enviornment that I had coming to me for years.

Worst: 6-8, because even though the teachers were nice and empathetic, I was the school punching bag (got picked on more than any other student I knew)

Best: When I was in 3rd, 5th, and some parts of 7th grade. Kick ass teachers, work wasn't that hard, it was just <3333.

Worst: 4th, 6th, first half of 8th, and 10th grade. In 4th grade, my teacher was an 80 year old bitch and the work was next to impossible. 6th grade and first half of 8th grade...teachers were cool, but it was just so much drama and BS peer wise. 10th grade...living hell. Gets my vote for the worst schedule I've ever had for classes. (Though being in an overcrowded school doesn't help much either).

Worst: 7th Grade - so much homework and speeches it was crazy

Best year: Right now, college is fraking awesome.

Worst year:  I've always liked school, and I've never really had bad grades, so I don't really have a least favorite.  The only class I ever failed was in my Senior year, but that was my favorite year of high school.

I'm only in 8th grade, but the worst year so far would have to be 2nd grade. There was only 7 kids in the class (it was a private school) and I had no less than 5 different teachers. I have no idea what the issue was, but teachers kept coming and going. Werid. My class wasn't that bad, just full of boring, average students  

My best year would have to be 6th grade. I'm in a public school now, and everyone seems pretty cool, even the teachers, at my school and that's when I finally made lots of friends.

Haha, just regular, private school, my class wasn't crazy at all. I swear one quit to work at K-mart. I found that insulting towards my class.

Best: 10th Grade. The biggest and best turning point in my life.

Worst: 7th Grade. Horrible teachers and merciless peers.
