PPF's Edit:Rankings ComparisonRankings by MemberSo, most of you are aware of the ranking system I did over the summer concerning which of the 6 teams was statistically the best. Well, now I want to do a ranking system for the individual contestants in order to gauge which individuals are the best and worst.
I'm going through and ranking every team that made it to the Temple Games. The ranking system itself is simple: I rank them 1-10 on each round - Moat, Steps of Knowledge, Individual Temple Game, Team Temple Game, and Temple Run (If applicable). In general, 1 is absolutely worthless, 5 is average, and 10 is absolutely perfect.
A contestant's overall rating will be the average of all of their scores. I'll do each episode in sets of 4 or 5 and I'll post the results of each set here for any discussion/dispute. Here's the first set to get us started.
BLACKBEARD'S TREASURE MAP:Red Jaguars - SabrinaMoat: 5

Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Temple Game: 4
Team Temple Game: 7
Overall: 6Notes about this episode: How lame. What else can I say. Both teams were average at best. Nobody did exceedingly well in any round, but both the girls fucked up big time in some rounds.
THE GOLDEN CUP OF BELSHAZZAR:Red Jaguars - CatherineMoat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 5
Individual Temple Game: 9
Team Temple Game: 6
Temple Run: 7
Overall: 6.6Red Jaguars - SeanMoat: 7

Team Temple Game: 2
Overall: 4.5Purple Parrots - KeithMoat: 5
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Temple Game: 9
Team Temple Game: 2
Overall: 5.5Notes about this episode: This was actually a pretty good episode overall. The Temple Run was disappointing, but when you look at them as a team, Catherine and Sean were pretty good. The Temple Games were interesting, though. In the first game, Sean did very well, but Keith was outstanding. Similarly, in the second game, Leslie did very well, but Catherine was outstanding. It was a dead heat matchup...until the final game, where Leslie and Keith completely screwed up.
GALILEO'S CANNONBALL:Silver Snakes - Jennifer
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Temple Game: 4
Team Temple Game: 8
Temple Run: 5
Overall: 6.6Silver Snakes - Jammin' Jon

Team Temple Game: 7
Overall: 6Green Monkeys - KevinMoat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Temple Game: 4
Team Temple Game: 5
Overall: 5.25Notes about this episode: Jammin' Jon was the first truly good contestant, averaging over 7 points per round, and Jennifer was not far behind. Just look at all those 8's up there for the Silver Snakes. The Green Monkeys, however, were barely above average.
WILD BILL HICKOK AND THE DEAD MAN'S HAND:Orange Iguanas - SarahMoat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Temple Game: 7
Team Temple Game: 6
Temple Run: 4
Overall: 6.2Orange Iguanas - JoshuaMoat: 5

Individual Temple Game: 7
Team Temple Game: 4
Overall: 5Green Monkeys - IanMoat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Temple Game: 7
Team Temple Game: 7
Overall: 6.5Notes about this episode: Neither team was bad, but kind of like Blackbeard's Treasure Map, nobody really excelled at any rounds. The last temple game was pretty annoying though. On the Green Monkeys, Ian did very well trying to adjust his body to catch the balls, but Amber just had such a horrible aim that he couldn't really get very many. On the Orange Iguanas, Sarah was pretty accurate, never throwing them too far off, but Joshua absolutely refused to adjust his body sideways, causing him to miss some easy balls.
So, if you disagree with any of these, or you just want to discuss the results, post away. I'll try to keep the sets coming pretty often.
