This is an idea I came up with. Basically, you and a partner are exploring 15 different temples, with each using the 15 layouts used in the actual show. There are 10 (5 male, 5 female) characters available at the start, each with different attributes (speed, strength, etc.), with 6 characters being unlocked by completing different objectives (eg. escape while not encountering any temple guards, escape the temple with at least 60 seconds left). There are 8 artifacts per temple, and you must retrieve at least 4 to move onto the next temple. Temple 1 uses layout 1, Temple 2 uses layout 2, etc.

5 hidden artifacts, revealed once you find all 120!

The finish line is where the gate is. Lee crossed it before time expired, but the judges pulled a Jim Joyce and made the wrong call. That's my point of view. Worse, it happened to my Orange Iguanas!

I can imagine Kirk saying the following:

"Yes! He got out with 2 seconds! Wait! The judges say he didn't get out! They clearly made the wrong call, but what they say is official, and they won't reverse it! They're convinced the wrong call is the right! I can't believe such a heartbreaking finish happened for this team! They earned the trip to San Antonio, then it was just taken away! Ah well, they get the sports package and laptop, but San Antonio was robbed from their hands!!! We're out of time, see you later on another great Legend on the Hidden Temple! Remember, it's not just Legends, it's Legends: Rebirth!"

Kirk is seen comforting the Orange Iguanas, who are both crying extremely hard. They are arguing with the judges, and are about to fight, but fortunately Kirk is able to break it up. Lee and Samantha are eventually awarded the trip to San Antonio after the episode.

I can't wait for that game to come out. It will be my first megaman game. Seriously!

I have an idea! If you also do seasons 4 and 5, have the winners of each of the 4 Tournaments of Champions compete in 1 final episode. The temple layout will be a combination of rooms from previous layouts voted on by the members here at Phantom's Temple!

What would've made it more heartbreaking is if TV replays clearly showed that he crosses the finish line, like what happened in Armando Galarraga's unofficial perfect game.

P.S. What was closer, this, or the Broken Wing of Icarus? Also, how far away was Lee from the finish line when time expired?

This was indeed closer than "The Broken Wing of Icarus". I didn't really think about measurements, but I can definitely see him being less than a foot away from the finish line before time ran out.

I can see him actually crossing the finish line, but the judges saying he didn't cross it. I think that's what happened in this episode. I think you should make an episode where that happens (the judges saying they didn't make it when they actually did).

By the way, where is the finish line? The bottom of the stairs? Or where that gate that Olmec pulls down is?

I found these artifacts that you posted in the "make up your own artifacts" thread.

Quote from: ""The Ancient Warrior""
Ideas for Season 3 Rediscovery episodes.  i didn't have any yet that looked like body parts, so:

The Petrified Hair of Galatea
The Stone Ear from Easter Island
The Lost Arm of the Venus de Milo
The Wooden Dragon Head of the Ormen Lange
Kaguyahime's Golden Hair
The Replaced Hand of Ali?i?lani Hale

Also, you MUST have my permission to use these artifacts.

Quote from: ""The Ancient Warrior""
?Iolani Palace's Missing Armrest
Demetrius Ypsilanti and the Maiden's Diamond Necklace
The Compact Calix of Cebu
The Heart-Shaped Locket of Elisabeth of Bavaria

Also, these couple are based off of the legends of a couple actual episodes, but the legends are gonna be slightly changed as well as the artifacts:

The Smashed Statue Piece of Thutmose
The Torn Journal Page of Henry Stanley

Of course, you've already done the Smashed Statue Piece of Thutmose and the Heart-Shaped Locket.
