...How do we know that about ''The Lost Whale Bone of Pythias''?.... Like... who found that out?... And wouldn't it be safe to assume that all the episodes with the same moat crossing as the Pythias episode be episodes #114, 116, 117 or something like that? That is an excellent question. When TurboNick was showing Legends episodes--actually, they only showed one: the Lost Whalebone of Pythias. It was labeled it as something like ''Ep. #115'' instead of the ''Lost Whalebone'' title. I suppose that doesn't 100% confirm it, but why else would they put that number there?
fastest team run
I've convinced myself that the wall wouldn't break down in ''The Crown of Queen Nzinga'' because it seems too easy that the wall would break down especially when there was a temple gaurd in the stage-left tree that ended the run (ya kno, the tree NOT near the breakable wall). That's just my theory though.... and i was rooting for the Purple Parrots in that episode.
Name the ONLY 2 victories of Season 2, Layout 5 and give me the team names and the artifact that they brought back successfully.
it looks like Aladins magic lamp
the lost hornpipe of the pirate captain
the jeweled scabard of sfroza
The only one I can think of that might be the answer is the Broken Wing of Icarus, but there was about 25 seconds left when he entered the Ledges.
can i ask a question soon?
no its the golden jaguar at atulapha the only time blue barracudas reach and object but dont bring it outYou're right, but it's spelled "Atahualpa".
Temple Run Question: Name the five episodes where the contestants use the ladder connecting a swamp-type room/Jester's Court and the Treasure Room/King's Storeroom.
What was peculiar about the Temple Run in Henry VIII's Great Seal other than Nick's dramatic exit?
What was peculiar about the Temple Run in Henry VIII's Great Seal other than Nick's dramatic exit? The block was already raised in the Pirate's Cove.
i am going to ask a question now
every time this room was entered a temple guard was in there except one time but they're was a logical (good) reason. which room and why didn't it have a temple guard that one time?
Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
Q: Name each Temple Victory with over a minute left
Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
Q: Name each Temple Victory with over a minute left
1: minute 7 seconds i assume everyone is giving up on my room temple guard question
Everyone knows the Mask of Shaka Zulu holds the record for the fastest run, but that was because the producers forgot to lock the damn door.
The Wheel Room is introduced in which episode?
Besides the Dried Apple half of William Tell, four other artifacts were in the Room of the Ancient Warriors in Season 3. Name those episodes, name the teams and the outcomes of those runs.
Jennifer of the Blue Baracudas slipped on some random tarp thing that was on the ground and fell while exiting the temple with John Sutter's Map to the Lost Gold Mine.
Quote from: ""The Purple Parrot""Jennifer of the Blue Baracudas slipped on some random tarp thing that was on the ground and fell while exiting the temple with John Sutter's Map to the Lost Gold Mine.
I always thought the thing Jennifer tripped on was a bundle of power cords that powered the season 1 temple gates...?
(Someone needs to upload John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine like asap too).
But first, someone upload the Ruby Earring of Benzibab ASAP. Sorry to get off topic, and please don't ban me again.
Quote from: ""The Purple Parrot""(Someone needs to upload John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine like asap too). :P
YouTube has a clip of the very beginning of "Ruby Earring Of Benzibab" which basically shows from the opening of the show to after the Moat crossing instructions are done.
oh the uh lightning ball room
Hm... Well, there was at least one in the Room of the Secret Password, but apparently inactive, and in one episode, a noise came while a player ascended the Pharoah's Secret Passage, indicating there my have been one at the top of the slide.
Is it the Well?Ah, yeah, it has to be. There were a lot of very close finishes out of the episodes when that room was entered, though.

Elizabeth I's Golden Ship.
The Shrine of the Silver Monkey
Wow, i never realized that the Green Monkeys never retrieved an artifact from the Shrine... Did they even get to the temple on an episode where the artifact was hidden in the Shrine?

Wrong. They made it in the Broken Wing of Icarus.
120...?
1:
The Ivory Hunting Horn of Roland
2:
The Mask of Shaka Zulu
The Helmet of Genghis Khan
The Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata
Elizabeth the First's Golden Ship
Robin Hood and Marian's Ladder
3:
The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
The Lost Taj Mahal Turban of Aurangzeb
The Mystical Spellbook of the Imperial Wizard
The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed
All I can think of...
All three of the women in the episode titles were Queens.
serina of russia
Why don't they involve more than four people and do this in heats, and the winner gains Recognized Legends God status?
There were only five episodes in which the passage between the two rooms in the third column (that is, between the Swamp etc. and the Room of Golden Idols etc.) was taken. Out of these, how many featured players entering the room containing the artifact before time was up? (If the player was between rooms when time ran out, that doesn't count.)
How many active actuators? Because that changed with the layouts otherwise...
6 in the WC
4 in the HR
3 in the RotGI
1 in the MS
6 in the TS
3 in the CoS
So, my answer is 23.

Where was the third temple guard in The Trojan Horseshoe?I believe it was in the Spider's Lair.

The Broken Wing

The Missing Weathermaps
Name the three fastest temple run victories in the series, the teams and the player that retrived the artifact.

No, that's not correct.
Name all the players, with their team and episode, that completed the Lightning Ball Room objective.
the room of the golden idols
Which episode Had the fastest escape from the temple after the artifact was retreved
1. Name the only season in which all solo runs were completed by frontrunners of the same gender.
2. Name the team that went to the Temple with 1 Pendant more times than any other team.
My question:
Name four episodes where a team knocked over the column with the rope in the Pit of the Pendelumn and got back to the platform withouth falling off.
Just to clarify, 11 is right, not 12. (Remember, no completing other rooms)
Right, but you specifically said "after grabbing the artifact," not "except the artifact room itself." It wasn't clear, but I'm happy to have gotten the right answer. Thinking about it just now, it would actually be possible to complete all 11 without running into a temple guard, if you allow for the player to dodge the Dark Forest hands.
How would 11 be possible? Sure you could avoid a Dark Forest Temple Spirit, but you'd cover all the other rooms, two of which would house unavoidable Temple Guards.
Go up to the Observatory (here's the tricky part,) complete the objective and grab the artifact on the Troubled Bridge. Of course, there would be a temple guard somewhere. You could also reverse this and place an artifact in the rock Quarry.
The Red Sash
The Much-Heralded Helmet
The Jewel-Encrusted Egg
The Discarded Seal
Name all the Purple Parrots that have completed the objective of The King's Storeroom.
A player named Jennifer.

Is it Medusa's Lair?
Concerning the matter, I guess I'd have to start a Legends Fanfic Trivia thread in the Treasure Room and put the question there.
Now for a real question. What team had the highest combined total for time remaining between all their recorded wins?

I hope that's a joke.
As for the question, Red Jaguars?
Name the only room where you still had to complete its objective even if you got the artifact.
Any more vacuous questions?
The Dungeon? The Lost Logbooks of Magellan
The Heart Room? I'd say it's Ponce de Le?n and the Lost Fountain of Youth. In both this episode and The Codebook of Mata Hari the frontrunner was taken out only one room away, but Jessica was definetely faster than Rinette.

Besides being the first episodes to finish production in each season, Galileo's Cannonball, The Silver Cannonball of Granny Nanny and The Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror have something else in common. What is it?
I'm gonna say the Room of the Royal Gongs. The only episode in which it wasn't entered was The Codebook of Mata Hari.
Next question. Besides being the first episodes to finish production in each season, Galileo's Cannonball, The Silver Cannonball of Granny Nanny and The Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror have something else in common. What is it?
He said S1 only, Ed
It's the Stolen Arm of Shiva and The Treasure of Anne Bonny (Since it was in the Shrine in the first 5 layouts)

Hm... I'd have to say
1. The Stolen Arm of Shiva. It's at the front of the room to begin, but placed in amongst the bamboo during the run.
2. The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale. I don't know if this counts, but I couldn't actually find the artifact in the room when it was shown, at least according to my episode description (it's been a while).

Sir Edmund Hillary?
The Lucky Medallion of Atocha

Golden Stallion of Ali Baba?

I don't think that was a defect. Wasn't the Throne Room door open, just not flung open like usual?

Hm... Are we sure it's not the Sash thing instead?
Ooh, me turn, me turn, me turn!!!!
Which run did the runner only have to climb down the ladder to open the doors in the room location of the bottom of the central shaft?
I say the Silver Horseshoe. Since Paula climbed down from the Heart Room, there was no way for the throne to turn, so the producers opened the doors for her.
Quote from: ""nicklegends""Hm... Are we sure it's not the Sash thing instead?
No, He told me in a PM that he thought that the answer was the "Much-Hearlded Helmet of Sir Gawain"
But It Could just as well be the Red Sash, I'll review the tape and get back to you about that!!!
What about My question? Oh well I suppose I should tell you the answer. It was the girl in the Jeweled neckace of montezuma. She never gives the temple spirit her pendant.
Ah she doesn't give the guard her pendant, she throws it one the ground.
I watched it, she dosen't give the spirit her pendant, runs around the Dark Forest, and then we see the shadow of the pendant bouncing across the floor.
Got a question of my own:
Name the Steps of Knowledge and Temple Games color combinations that didn't appear at all in a certain season, and what seasons they didn't appear in.
HINT:
4 Steps combos that only appeared in 2 seasons out of 3
5 Games combos that only appeared in 2 seasons out of 3
Think, What did the red jaguars do that no other team managed to do?
Yes, Finally, the red jaguars were the only team to get captured one room away and still make it to the artifact and back. About that desending the central shaft, We talk about it like it happened alot but I think that only happend twice Edmund Hillary and Anne Bonney.

What about the Secret Map of the Bandit Queen?
Miriam was taken out in the Dark Forest right under the shrine where the map was and Zac still got it out.
Here's a question.
Which temple victor recorded the least time in the temple?
One of the producers even checked the time sheets and said that I had crushed the fastest time that one person had been in and out.
Okay Bob! It was real close, there. Zac Turney clocked in at One minute Eight point Five Five seconds (1:08.55) and Asher clocked in at One minute Five point Seven Six seconds (1:05.76). So, With 1:05.76, Asher takes first, and Zac takes second.
You're forgetting those who got taken out early!
Annie (bin-Zibab)?
Another question.
Who were the poeple to reach the artifacts in both types of the King's Storerooms?
I'm guessing the Green Monkeys? ^^;
The closest loss to Temple Guards?
I'm pretty sure that's Kelly and Tony from "The Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid."
You know, this is just an idea, but maybe this, being one of the more popular active threads here and all, should be stickied. We haven't had those since the CNS Incident and Nick GaS' permanent departure in April.
Aaaaanywaaaayyyy....
Math nerd question: not counting promos, how many times has the Legends titlecard been seen throughout the entire run?
You're right. It's not that difficult lol.
Center of the Room
The Pirate's Cove.
Name the EXACT number of times during the 1st and 2nd seasons where Kirk Fogg said the phrase:Quote from: ""Kirk Fogg""Center of the Room
Six times: "Blackbeard's Treasure Map", "The Map to the Lost Gold Mine", "The Treasure Map of Jean Laffitte", "The Missing Weathermaps of Charles Lindbergh", "The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen", and "The Useless Map of Chibcha Cheiftan".
Someone else go for me. I'm not good with questions.
You each get half a point.
Wait, PARADOX! Who will ask the question now?
We have a tie! Bring out the Tiebreaker Pedestal!
Season 2, Layout 5 doesn't work if you count Nathan Hale.
Henry VIII's Great Seal, Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass, Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu, Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy, Keys to the Alhambra
That's tough to think about. I went back and watched almost every season 1 run yesterday and I still have no clue. I'll continue to think about that one, but here's an easier question as well:
What was the temple run where a player encounters a guard in the Laser Light Room and proceeds to throw two blocks at the guard before giving him the pendant?
The Oracle Bowl of Delphi? The girl went up to the Pirate's Cove via The Dungeon with the rock slab from the Pirate's Cove already lifted up.
I wonder if it's ok for me to ask another question. I saw a user named Juan asking question after question, so I guess it's ok.
Which episode's temple run featured a girl dropping the belly of the monkey from The Shrine of the Silver Monkey into The Dark Forest? A "temple spirit" (a believe it was a member of the production crew that did it) tossed the belly back into the shrine.
1. Henry VIII's Great Seal, The Crown of Queen Nzinga, The Pendant of Kamehameha (not sure if this one counts, since the guard was technically placed in the Dungeon.)
2. The all had 1 1/2 pendants.
EDIT: It was The Upside-Down Compass of Henry Hudson. Derek of the Purple Parrots dropped it.
I think the Silver Snakes in The Pendant of Kamehameha got robbed in this temple run. Tina had already lifted up the lid in The Tomb of the Ancient Kings and the temple guard just decides to make a late visit from The Dungeon. I mean, there are a couple episodes where there was a temple spirit in The Dark Forest and they were avoided. This one should've counted as a temple guard that was avoided.
1. The Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy.
2. The Oracle Bowl of Delphi and The Moccasins of Geronimo.
3. Can you give us the season?
Is #3 the Room of Three Torches?
D'oh, I misread it. >_<
It's the Viper's Nest, and the episode in which the team didn't exit the temple in time was The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed.
Another question:
In seasons 2 and 3, not including The Crypt, The Ledges, The Rock Quarry/Troubled Bridge/The Pit (of the Pendulum), and The Pharaoh's Secret Passage (since these rooms never held an artifact ever), what room was an artifact never retrieved? For season's 2 and 3, use this diagram for help:
3
8 7 6 5 4 2 1
8 9 10 11 12 2 13
Again, ignore the rooms mentioned (rooms 1, 2, 8, and 13).
You forgot Room 12. :P
Yes, but you said "retrieved," not "reached." :P
Yes, but you said "retrieved," not "reached." :P
What episode are you referring to?
JTH1 beat me to it.
Next: There was one victory in season 1 where the player didn't even go in between the two pillars at the end of his run that signified the starting/finishing line. This run was a win. Can you name that run, the team that won, and the names of the players in this run?
They all had the artifact on the top level of the temple.I don't think that's it--IIRC, the Map to the Lost Gold Mine was in the Tomb of the Ancient Kings.
Here's a tough, multi-part question.
There were 15 possible combinations for the two teams who compete in the Temple Games.
What was the longest streak of the same two teams competing in the Temple Games, which episodes were they, what were the two teams, and what were the Temple Games results of those episodes?

Oh god... I think it's "The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed" (Orange beats Green), "The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King" (Orange beats Green) and "The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora" (Green beats Orange), with a Green vs. Orange streak lasting three episodes.
Sorry if I'm going out of turn, but there's no way I can answer that last question
What do these Temple wins have in common that no other Temple win can say?
John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine
The Mocassins of Geronimo
The Collar of Davy Crockett
The Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy
The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor
The Enormous Iron Nose Ring of Babe
The Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid
The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen
I'll throw out another question while I'm thinking of this other one.
The following episode's winning teams all had a some may say "lucky" or "earning" similarity:
The Collar of Davy Crockett
The Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy
The Milk Bucket of Freydis
The Lion-Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta
The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen
Would do these episode's winning teams have in common?

Sorry for so many consecutive posts, but I'll throw out another question as well.
Name all temple victories where all three temple guards were encountered.
And those two would be "The Levitating Dog Leash of Nostradamus" and "The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza," correct?
Here's some Legends math.Since this question was never answered, I'll put it to rest by saying the following:
Take the total time in seconds left on the clock of Purple Parrots temple victories
Multiply by the number of times a team found the extra half-pendant AND had to give it to a temple guard
Subtract the number of Silver Snakes temple losses
Add the number of seconds taken to retrieve the Mask of Shaka Zulu
Divide by the most temple victories recorded by one team in a single season
And what is the answer?
EDIT: I should probably clarifiy, don't worry about order of operations, just take the running total and do the next operation.
The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
The Much Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed
The Mystical Spellbook of the Imperial Wizard
The Lost Taj Mahal Turban of Aurangzeb
7? I think I can go the extra mile and name them all in order:
Pecos Bill's Lost Lariat

Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress
The Collar of Davy Crockett
The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra
The Treasure of Anne Bonny
The Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy
Ponce de' Leon and the Lost Fountain of Youth
The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl
The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
The Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie
Hmm. I only count five.
Silver/Purple, Blue/Orange, Green/Red, Red/Orange.
And The Lucky Medallion of Atocha. So it occurred twice.Silver/Purple, Blue/Orange, Green/Red, Red/Orange.
Nope. Red/Orange occurred in The Lost Love Letter of Captain John Smith.
I knew there was one more, I just couldn't put my finger on it.And The Lucky Medallion of Atocha. So it occurred twice.Silver/Purple, Blue/Orange, Green/Red, Red/Orange.
Nope. Red/Orange occurred in The Lost Love Letter of Captain John Smith.
The Red Jaguars?
The Pearl Necklace of Gwalior. And you're welcome. :P
Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress
The Much-Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain
Ohhhh, it's The Mask of Shaka Zulu.
Kind of a confusing question. :o
The Tomb of the Ancient Kings/Dark Forest room space?
Silver Snakes - Galileo's CannonballThe first Orange Iguanas victory was "The Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy." The rest of them are correct though.
Blue Barracudas - John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine
Orange Iguanas - The Silver Cannonball of Grandy Nanny
Red Jaguars - The Helmet of Genghis Khan
Purple Parrots - The Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid
Green Monkeys - The Trojan Horseshoe
The Mask of Shaka Zulu and The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza
Silver SnakesWrong. Silver defeated Orange a few times in Season 1. You're right about Red though.
Red Jaguars?
Green and Red. (Silver beat them in the Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra and Blue beat them in the Lost Logbooks of Magellan)Correct! Orange beat Green in "Dead Man's Hand" and beat Red in "Blue Pearl of the Dragon Lady." (Also, Silver beat Orange in "John Henry's Lost Hammer" too).
I think you mean to the left TRJ. ;)
And those runs are:
The Diary of Dr. Livingstone
The Very Tall Turban of Ahmed Baba
The Two-Cornered Hat of Napoleon
The Leopard-Skin Cloak of Annie Oakley
And as an added bonus, Ty from The Lucky Medallion of Atocha completed the objective, but it wasn't required. That's why it's not an actual answer (I saw the "REQUIRED" part of the question). ;)
As for the question we skipped over, is the second prize "The Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask"? Something tells me that PPF was close and it probably is a mask.
Also, I think they gave away the Lily-Crested Crown of Clovis the I as a prop if I remember correctly. I remember that because the crown looked one of the Burger King crowns.
Kim from the Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh?
Karissa from the Enormous Feather of the Me Linh?
Is it Kerry from The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King?
Tarrah?
Jennifer from the Belly Button of Buddha?
Red Jaguars
The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora and The Pearl Necklace of Gwalior.
At least I got the Pepperoni! (in my pic ;) )The Comet Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conquerer
Next question:
What episode has the longest title?
1. The Mummified Hand of the Egyptian King
2. The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
3. The Pearl Necklace of Gwalior
4. The Mysterious Manuscript of Mary Shelley
5. The Missing Portrait of Hans Holbein
And I must say that season 3 was a bad season to be a Blue Barracudas fan. But was it worse than the Purple Parrots' season 3?
And I must say that season 3 was a bad season to be a Blue Barracudas fan. But was it worse than the Purple Parrots' season 3?At least the Blue Barracudas went to the temple 5/7 of their temple appearances. That's more than you can say about the Purple Parrots.
Next:The Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask?
Battle Flag may have been the longest title, but it doesn't contain the most words in the title. What episode has the honor of having the most words in their title?
And I must say that season 3 was a bad season to be a Blue Barracudas fan. But was it worse than the Purple Parrots' season 3?
Are you saying the Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen is bad? :o
John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine
Well, at least I was close....John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine
Correct. That one has 10 words as Iron Mask has only 9. Battle Flag and Ponce de' Leon also have 9 words.
And I must say that season 3 was a bad season to be a Blue Barracudas fan. But was it worse than the Purple Parrots' season 3?
Are you saying the Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen is bad? :o
No, but we only entered the temple twice: The Upside-Down Compass of Henry Hudson and Metal Beard. The Henry Hudson run was pitiful, but Metal Beard was pretty good. Randy's exit plan was horrible though. She's lucky she made it out in time. The BBs made it five times and had some heartbreaking results.
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh? Kim was the closest to the Dark Forest when an item is in there and she was in the room (kind of).
I believe Red vs. Blue and Red vs. Purple each only had one tiebreaker together.
Blue vs. Green?
Orange vs. Green - the Bent Shaving Pan of Jedidiah Smith? The Lion Slashed Jacket of Sacagewea also featured a Green/Orange tiebreaker.
Ohhhh, it was Green vs. Silver. For some reason, I didn't think that tiebreaker color combination occurred.
Correct. "The Shriveled Hand of Efoua" and "The Walking Stick of Harriet Tubman" were the only Blue/Orange episodes of Season 2, both having Orange beating Blue. Your turn.
Nope, Blue-Orange happened two more times in Season 1. It occurred in, "The Lost Logbooks of Magellan" (Blue won) and in, "The Paintbrush of Leonardo Da Vinci" (Orange won). It was definitely that rarest color combination on the whole show. Which is a shame, I liked that color combination.Correct. "The Shriveled Hand of Efoua" and "The Walking Stick of Harriet Tubman" were the only Blue/Orange episodes of Season 2, both having Orange beating Blue. Your turn.
Weren't those the only Blue-Orange temple games in the entire show? :o

I believe Matt(hew) is another one, which, coincidentally enough, also contains the Bullet Riddled Handbag.
Not sure if it counts, but Jeremy? The War Fan kids were supposedly awarded the second prize due to the production error in the Tomb. The others are :roll::roll::roll::roll: and The Golden Spider Web of Robert the Bruce
The Blue Barracudas - The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza
Well, the Red Jaguars had 6 tiebreaker losses, and the Purple Parrots had 8 tiebreaker losses. The Blue Barracudas are lucky, they didn't lose a tie breaker until the final filming day.The Blue Barracudas - The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza
Yep. That was the Blue Barracudas' only tiebreaker loss. Every other team had at least 3 tiebreaker losses.

I think the longest streak was 14 losses. This happened in season 3 between the wins of Bandit Queen and Roland. That is correct. None of the 14 teams between Bandit Queen and Roland's victories reached the artifact.
The Moccasins of Geronimo and The Oracle Bowl of Delphi.
The Mussel Shell Armor of Apanuggpak, Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress, and John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine.
The Golden Cup of Belshazzr? And THK, in the Bifocal Monocle, doesn't the contest go up to the King's storeroom from the Ancient Warriors?
Silver Snakes- Caught most. Green Monkeys- Caught least.
Silver for most and Purple for least?
I think we did a similar question a while back, so let's see if I remember:
Ponce de' Leon and the Lost Fountain of Youth
The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl
The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
The Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie
The Pendant of Kamehameha
Why is it not Kamehameha? :?
Blackbeard's Treasure Map and the Lucky Medallion of Atocha
Blackbeard's Treasure Map and the Lucky Medallion of Atocha
Wow, I thought this one might've stumped some of you because of Blackbeard's Treasure Map being a loss.
But those two episodes are correct. Those are the only two runs where the only temple guard encounters were in the entrance rooms.
As for PPF's question, The War Fan of the 47 Ronin, The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen, and The Snow Cone of Mount KilimanjaroThat is correct.
The Keys to the Alhambra
The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora
The Dried Apple Half of William Tell
The Bifocal Monocle of One-Eyed Jack
The Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea?
Boadicea is wrong.
The Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie
The Bifocal Monocle of One-Eyed Jack
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
The Dried Apple Half of William Tell
The Mummified Hand of the Egyptian King?
The Holes of Python?
The Lost Lion Tail of Little John
Blackbeard's Treasure MapAnd let's just say most people wouldn't have been offended had the score been 9-0 Silver (ouch....) instead.
The Keys to the Alhambra
I guess Red Jaguars beating the Silver Snakes in the temple games equated to horrible temple performance.
The Room of the Fallen Columns
It appeared 4 times, was entered every time, and the only one it didn't have a guard in was The Collar of Davy Crockett.
Green Monkeys (Dried Apple Half, Discarded Seal) and Blue Barracudas (Missing Portrait, Mysterious Manuscript)
The Torch Room
The Room of the Three Torches
The Well
The Viper's Nest
The Lightning Ball Room
The Jester's Court
Spider's Lair, I believe.
Spider's Lair, I believe.
Correct. There were no temple guard encounters at all in the Spider's Lair. Although we know that there was a temple guard in this room in "The Trojan Horseshoe" as the temple guard is present as Shawn exits the temple and tries to avoid stepping on him.
THK got it. I was looking for all five episodes TSM. ;)
Just a guess, but The Lily-Crested Crown of Clovis I?
The Bent Shaving Pan of Jedediah Smith?
Can I guess again?
The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl?
Ill guess again, I guess.
This is probably wrong, but is it the Ivory Hunting Horn of Roland.
Pearl Necklace of Gwalior
Dried Ear of Corn of Sojourner Truth
Dragon Lady and the Blue Pearl
Golden Pepperoni of Catharine de' Medici
Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora
Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh?
Electrified Key of Benjamin Franklin?
Elizabeth I's Golden Ship
Discarded Seal of Ivan the Terrible
Lost Whale Bone of Pytheas
Leopard-Skin Cloak of Annie Oakley
Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask?
There are actually two answers I think. The top of the central shaft and the Jesters' Court room space.
The first production day of S2L2?
Probably wrong, but is it sandy ants lie?
Something's telling me the third one has to do with one of the Jason's, so I don't think it is that one. Is it "Toy Land Cab Race"?
I think this is too hard.
It has to be brain yard clay then.
Numbe three is "Jason and La Rip", possibly?
Is that one "Jason and April"?
Sandy Ants Lie = Nate and Lissy (from The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea)Jason and April are from the Green Monkeys and the rest are from the Red Jaguars.
Toy Land Cab Race = Taylor and Becca (from The Helmet of Genghis Khan)
And Slip on a Jar = Jason and April (from The Broken Wing of Icarus)
Brain Yard Clan = Brian and Carly (from The Two-Cornered Hat of Napoleon)
So THK told us that the third one does not belong. Why is that?
Sandy Ants Lie = Nate and Lissy (from The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea)Jason and April are from the Green Monkeys and the rest are from the Red Jaguars.

So who can go?
Season 2's Silver Snakes.
Is the "Kristen" the one you were looking for?
- Appeared in S1: The Lucky Pig of Amelia Earhart, S2: The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl, S3: The Jewel-Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great
- The Jewel-Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great was the only win of the three
- Kristen from "Priceless Portrait" was the first to grab an artifact from the bottom of the central shaft
Lost Logbooks of Magellan, Milk Bucket of Freydis, Trojan Horseshoe
Oh wow, this one might be harder than the anagram! :o
These are going to be total guesses:
Season 1: Michael/Mike
Season 2: John/Jon/Jonathan
Season 3: Bryan/Brian
Is Season 2 Jessica/Jess/Jessie ?
Chris for season two?
Jessica for Season 3?
Ashley for Season 3?
That's correct. Ashley appeared 4 times (though almost every time, it was spelled differently )
Okay, THK; that was excessively difficult to solve.
So, who gets to go?
Tara from The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary.
The Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask
The Jeweled Necklace of Montezuma
The Golden Jaguar of Athualpa
Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy, Star of Sultan Saladin, Imperial Robe of Empress TheodoraCorrect
The Lost Logbooks of Magellan, and the Mummified Hand of the Egyptian King.Correct. And congrats on Post 1,000 too. ;)
Oracle Bowl of Delphi, Treasure Map of Jean Lafitte, Helmet of Joan of Arc, Blackbeard's Treasure Map, Golden Cup of Belshazzar, Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
The Helmet of Joan of Arc, Alexander and the Gordian Knot, Pecos Bill's Lost Lariat, John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine (the latter two having been completed despite not having to be)
The Blue Barracudas?
Grabbing the artifact, but not bringing it out in time?
Orange:
The Enormous Feather of the Me Linh
Silver:
The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
The Broken Trident of Poseidon
Missing Eye of David and Golden Chains of Zenobia
Dark Forest
Swamp
Spider's Lair
Heart Room
Throne Room
Dungeon
Not sure about Throne Room though.
The Room of the Fallen Columns and the Mandarin Hand.
And the Room of the Royal Gongs?
Last one is The Codebook of Mata Hari.
The middle piece of the Silver MonkeyCorrect.
John Henry's Lost Hammer
The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora
The Golden Pepperoni of Catherine de' Medici?
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
Correct! Quentin was the only contestant to encounter a temple guard in that room space and not be taken out.
The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
Correct! Quentin was the only contestant to encounter a temple guard in that room space and not be taken out.
Not quite. Matthew from "The Bullet-Riddled Handbag of Belle Boyd" also did that.
The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
The Golden Chains of Zenobia was a temple games sweep. The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
Correct! And I also think that was the first ever temple game sweep on the show and one of two temple sweeps in season one next to "Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress".
The Broken Trident of Poseidon and The Ruby Earring of Benzibab.
The only thing I can think of is that they were all won in sweeps, but that can't be it because Red Sash was 2-0.5. :?
-The Discarded Seal of Ivan the Terrible - Travis and Elisa
-The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh - Nick and Kim
-The Silver Cannonball of Grandy Nanny - Jonathan and Amber
PP319, your answer was very close. Think a little deeper about your answer though. ;)
PP319, your answer was very close. Think a little deeper about your answer though. ;)
The middle painting!
Nope, neither of those answers wouldn't have worked as the "Polynesian Girl" team had a tiebreakerThey didn't have a tiebreaker. The Silver Snakes won the temple games 1.5-0.5. Not that it matters anyways, since it's now been figured out. ;)
Those are correct! And I like how you listed them from worst to best. :mrorange:
The Leopard Skin Cloak of Annie Oakley, Nick and Chandra
The Lost Whalebone of Pythias, Damian and Brittany
The Codebook of Mata Hari (?), Gareth and Rinette
A 1.5 pendant win?
The Helmet of Joan of Arc - both female players were named AmandaBoth are correct! I bet the Orange Iguana Kim in the "Charles Lindbergh" episode wanted to get her name legally changed after watching the Red Jaguar Kim in the temple.
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh - both female players were named Kim
You forgot "Blackbeard's Treasure Map" as a Red vs. Silver episode. One of two episodes where Red beats Silver. So it would be six times that combination occurred in Season 1, not five times.

He obviously erased that atrocity from his memory.
And now that I am thinking about it, didn't Silver/Orange occur a lot in season one? "Gordian Knot", "The Stolen Arm of Shiva", "Dead Man's Hand"No. Dead Man's Hand had Green vs. Orange. Maybe you should re watch more Season 1 episodes? Or look through the episode guide on Ed's site to check the color combinations.

Nate, The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea
Jay, The Good Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie
Kristen, The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl
James, Ponce de Leon and the Lost Fountain of Youth
Quentin, The Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu (?)
Actually, they lost 12 times.
The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh, Red Jaguars shut them out.
The Discarded Seal of Ivan the Terrible, Green Monkeys shut them out.
Lea, The Star of Sultan Saladin
Tina, The Pendant of Kamehameha
Tara, The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
Tracy, The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra
Kristen, The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl
The Lost Love Letter Of Captain John Smith (Red Jaguars), The Imperial Purple Robe Of Empress Theodora (Green Monkeys), The Two-Cornered Hat Of Napoleon (Red Jaguars), The Golden Earring Of Henry Morgan (Silver Snakes), The Missing Weather Maps Of Charles Lindbergh (Red Jaguars).
That is correct. :mrblue: Boy, the Bue Barracudas had some terrible luck with the moat, didn't they? Though I believe that sort of thing happened to the Orange Iguanas at one point too.
Wild Bill Hickok and the Dead Man's Hand
Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed
Cracked Crown of the Spanish King
Thornwood Gavel of Judge Roy Bean
The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor
Wild Bill Hickok and the Dead Man's HandAlso, "The Bent Shaving Pan of Jedidiah Smith" had Orange beating Green in the temple games. There were five episodes, not four.

Indeed!
The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor
Indeed!
Wrong. "The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale", "The Diary of Dr. Livingstone", "The Bone Necklace of the Blackfeet Chief", "The Stone Head of The Evil King", "The Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata", and "The Electrified Key of Benjamin Franklin" all came before Lucky Pillow.

Those episodes had the Orange Iguanas eliminated the moat. "Annie Taylor" was the first time the Orange Iguanas got eliminated at the Steps round. ;)

TRJ is right about that! :P

None of those teams lost at the moat.
After going through all the episodes and color combinations, that was the conclusion I came to.
They were the team to ring in on the Steps of Knowledge when Kirk said, "Try the ancient marking in front of you. Go ahead, stomp on it."
Each one of those episodes had a team reach the room of the artifact in the closing seconds.

The episodes are blanked out but I can tell you is that they're in numerical order.
Each one of these teams had something in common, what was it?
All those teams went to the temple in that order?
21 (6 in Mineshaft/Dungeon/Well; 6 in Tomb of the Ancient Kings; 7 in Swampy area; 2 in Throne room/Room of Harmonic Convergence)
All four runs featured the runner in the Pit physically knock the column over rather than kick it down while on the swing.
Their Steps of Knowledge pair was Blue-Green-Orange-Silver.
Couldn't all Blue Barracuda temple losses work also? ;)
Was that the Two-Cornered Hat/Sultan Suleiman/Efoua/Queen Nzinga production day?
Is it the Amelia Earhart/Lost Logbooks/Great Seal/Geronimo production day? :?:
Brad, Ivory Elephant of Scheherazade
Justin, Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask
Keith, Missing Portrait of Hans Holbein
Josh, Mummified Hand of the Egyptian King
The Lucky Medallion of Atocha :mrorange:
The Levitating Dog Leash of Nostradamus :mrorange:
The Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy
Correct! And I forgot to mention one more - "The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen". So there is five in total.
The Silver Snakes had passed the moat 15 straight times starting with Galileo's Cannonball To Lucky Pig of Amelia Earhart before losing in Ponce de Leon and the Lost Fountain of Youth.
Time has gone by so here's a new one
Name the runs where an artifact was in the bottom of the central shaft (Throne, Headless Kings area)
Time has gone by so here's a new one
Thank you for skipping over my last question. I appreciate it.
In case anyone was wondering, the Green Monkeys had a 17-episode streak of passing the Moat in Season Two, from "Missing Eye of David" to "Golden Pepperoni of Catherine de Medici."Name the runs where an artifact was in the bottom of the central shaft (Throne, Headless Kings area)
Elizabeth I's Golden Ship
Lucky Pig of Amelia Earhart
Electrified Key of Benjamin Franklin
Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl
Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass
Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea
Red Sash of Tokugawa Ieyasu
Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie
I like the answer that PP4L gave as it thinks outside of the box, but I was looking more for a detail about the temple layout rather than temple run. Although you are right about this being the only time a team reached the artifact at the bottom of the central shaft and failed to retrieve it. ;)
The Room of the Ancient Warriors and the Tomb of the Headless Kings
In the two temple appearances by the Purple Parrots in Season 3, they shared the same temple games pair Green vs. Purple. They also shared the same Steps of Knowledge color combination. Name that pair.
Red Jaguars, Green Monkeys, Purple Parrots, & Silver Snakes
The Oracle Bowl of Delphi and The Golden Pepperoni of Catherine de Medici. Where both color combinations were Green - Orange - Purple - Silver.
Brett, The Diary of Dr. Livingstone
Randy, The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen
Both had artifacts in the Shrine, and both were second runners.
Jason, Broken Wing of Icarus
Kimberly, Broken Trident of Poseidon
Rachelle, Golden Goblet of Attila the Hun
Sabrina, Blackbeard's Treasure Map
The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary
The only time in Season 1 where the second runner went directly into the opposite entrance room. ;)
All five of those are correct. The only team that brought that onto themselves though was the Hans Holbein team since they didn't try all three books.
The Helmet of Genghis Khan, The Golden Chains of Zenobia, Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress, Blackbeard's Treasure Map, The Golden Cup of Belshazzar
A : The red jaguars? From Episode 29 till episode 100. Their 2nd victory was in episode 28 and their 3rd victory is in episode 101. Wow, thats a very long draught having no wins accuquired in season 2
I know it was a S1 episode.
Was it "The Stolen Arm of Shiva" without looking?
What was the last temple run that the RP/TMH needed for 100% completion for the Room of the Mandarin Hand?
The Diary of Dr. Livingstone and Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress
It also happened in S3 with the Green Monkeys. Chrystine was the only second Green Monkey runner the entire season. And the Green Monkeys appeared in the temple a lot this season.
Johnny Appleseed, Empress Theodora, Pytheas, Catherine the Great
Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata
Very Tall Turban of Ahmed Baba
Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid
Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain
Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen
Lost Love Letter of Captain John Smith, Golden Earring of Henry Morgan, & Lion Slashed Jacket of Sacagawea
Red Jaguars - The Golden Goblet of Attila the Hun
Blue Barracudas - The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor
Green Monkeys - The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza
Orange Iguanas - The Enormous Feather of the Mi Linh
Purple Parrots - The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen (their only tiebreaker win)
Silver Snakes - The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen
I hope that's right.
The Mox-a-kins of Geronimo, The Mask of Shaka Zulu, The Silver Horseshoe of Butch Cassidy, The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza, The Ruby Earring of BENZIBAB!!!!!!
Shaka Zulu was the only one there where the Shrine was not entered at all.
I was asking for the 6 runs where the door to the left of the Shrine remained locked when the contestants entered from the room to the right of the Shrine.
Lucky Medallion, Dr. Livingstone, Silk Sash, Golden Stallion, Missing Eye, and Cosa Rara.
Golden Stalion,SilvalSilver Cannonball, Missing Eye, Plumed Headdress, Silk Sash, & Golden Goblet
Why do I feel like we've done this question before? Maybe it's just me, but I have a feeling this has already been asked.
Icarus and Henry Morgan are both correct. Notice how the Silver Snakes had nothing but 1 pendant tiebreakers. :mrsilver:
Galileo, John Sutter, Butch Cassidy, Dr. Livingstone, Atocha, Ahmed Baba
The Helmet of Genghis Khan
The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra
The Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata
The Enormous Iron Nose Ring of Babe the Ox
The Jewel-Encrusted Egg of Catherine the Great
Taylor from The Helmet of Genghis Khan
Nate from The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea
Ron from The Treasure of Anne Bonny (Cheater #1)
Jason from The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass (Cheater #2)
Tara was a Green Monkey? ;) :mrsilver:No female Green Monkey ever assembled a Silver Monkey in S1.Tara from Sir Edmund Hilary did.
Blue PearlThat is correct.
Season 3
Red Jaguar runs
Artifact in Tomb of Headless Kings
Only the Chamber opened after the column was knocked down
Both 2 Pendant runs
The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen? Not that either
Olivia Emma-Applewood Amulet
Andrea-Lion Headed Bracelet
Elisa-Discarded Seal
Chrystine-Lost Taj Mahal Turban
The Lucky Medallion of Atocha ( :jaguars2: :iguanas2:), The Broken Wing of Icarus ( :monkeys2: :snakes2:), & The Metal Beard of the Egyptian Queen ( :monkeys2: :parrots2:)
The Mask of the Man in the Iron Mask? Was it really that easy? But yeah, it was Iron Mask. If you search that episode in Youtube, the movie is what come up first. The name of the movie is "The Man in the Iron Mask". :mrblue:
In those runs, the Chamber was the only door that was opened from the Pit.
Does it have to do with both the Chamber and King's Storeroom door opening from he Pit after the column was knocked over?
Each of those teams all had their runs end in triple capture in the Quicksand Bog/Mine Shaft room space.
The third guard encounter of each run occurred in the Dungeon/Quicksand Bog room space?
They all encountered said guard after entering the room space from above?
The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl
Jeweled Scabbard, Golden Spider Web, Taj Mahal Turban
*bump*
The Lily Crested Crown of Clovis I
The Melted Head of Madame Tussaud
- Both episodes were Orange Iguanas runs (obviously :P).
- Both episodes saw the Purple Parrots lose the temple games.
- Both artifacts were in the Quicksand Bog.
- Both legends took place in France.
- Both runs ended in the Shrine.
- Both frontrunners encountered their first guard in the Chamber.
- Both backrunners have names that start with "J".
- The solo temple games in both episodes featured a boy against a girl.
- Both episodes are from Season 3.
- Both episodes were located in the Quicksand Bog.Wrong. Melted Head was last of the day.
- Both episodes were Orange-Purple temple games.
- Both episodes were third on their production days.
- Both episodes ended in the Shrine where the second runner never finished the Silver Monkey. (Although Jennifer was really close)
I believe the Snow Cone episode is the other one you're looking for. ;)
