All right, I know it's not much of an update, but you all know I've been working on advanced states for the first two seasons for a while now, and part of the reason is for more organized rankings for the teams.  While I was compiling these, I realized I'd made quite a few mistakes, so I went back and corrected this portion of the stats.

Once again, this was determined using The Mandarin Hand's scoring system, with the maximum possible score being 140.  The exception is that the "incorrect turn" deduction is only if a player met a dead end, obviously went in the wrong direction or ran into a room only to turn back before completing the objective and enter a different room.  There are no deductions of this kind if players simply took a longer path that could still lead them directly to the artifact.

I really have to apologize for the lack of a new episode this week... I've been swamped with homework and feeling a tad unmotivated lately; it's been difficult to focus on The Rediscovery lately as a result.  Obviously I'm not done with the next episode just yet, but my current plan is to post it next Monday and then continue with the normally planned schedule from there.  Again, I'm sorry I've been so behind, but my grades and routine are slipping and I need to focus. :C

Well, time to state a bit of the obvious: I need to get ahead with the fanfic-writing.  I can't keep churning out new episodes at the last minute, so what I'm going to do is move the new episodes to Fridays rather than Mondays so I can stay ahead of things.  I need the few extra days to get ahead for the next one, since I haven't even written beyond the first Temple Game.  I'm sorry about this, people, but hopefully it'll pay off. D':

Well, the Hawaiian Layout just closed out last night, and I hope you guys liked that one.

But now for the bad news: I'm going to take another break of a few weeks to try and get ahead.  Between final exams, packing to go home, helping my parents around the house and any visits and celebrations, I might be a little preoccupied for the next few weeks, and currently I'm only just starting the episodes for Layout XIV? I'm taking a page from TBK with how I plan the layouts from here on out, by writing the legends first and then organizing the episodes.... but right now I still have three legends to write.

A few weeks, however, should be enough time for me to catch up, so the next new episode will be on Friday, January 7.  I'll still be working at it, but we'll see how it goes, so stay tuned for 2011!

Just another status update:

At this point, when the new episodes come in hinges on the future of the forum.  If for whatever reason (such as backups not being compatible with the final host decision) everything needs to be copied and pasted to a new forum, the already-posted episodes will be transported first, and new ones may not appear until February.  Otherwise, new episodes will probably begin again on either the 14th or the 21st at this rate? I'm not far enough along that I can post the next one this Friday.

That actually reminds me that I haven't given an official status update.  It's not as if I didn't know this problem occured.  In fact, I'll admit to deliberately biding my time with reuploading the rest of the older episodes, because I need to catch up on my writing.  I'll see where I'm at in a couple weeks if I can just push myself to focus on the next Season 3 episodes, and probably spend some more time reuploading bits and pieces of the remaining 95 episodes and damaged interviews in the meantime.

Aside from the size-99 font on the Seasons 2-3 episodes (which should be about a 12 font), a lot of your episodes have too much question marks replacing where the air quotes, dashes, etc. should be. Can you fix those three things?

As I said earlier on the page, I'm aware of the issues. You can blame the numerous software changes and updates which affected a lot of the posts.  Many of the question marks, though, were originally accented characters or dashes that aren't recognized on this forum, but were on the original.  They used to work here at some point, too, but inconveniently, I think TSM needs to enable that again after the last software update...

I was working on fixing the episodes for a while, and I meant to get back to it.  Unfortunately, I have no real motivation for the series any more, and I haven't felt like updating the episode posts either.  But seeing as the old forum is offline, I might as well spend some time trying to edit the posts with the backup data.  I can't promise anything new, though.
