I was thinking about this run earlier and how easy of a win it was. Then I was thinking to myself: "Was it really meant to be that easy?".
Let's think about a few things here:
- Yakera only had to complete five room objectives. She entered the Shrine of the Silver Monkey from the Dark Forest
- After knocking over the pendulum, two doors opened: King's Storeroom and Tomb of the Headless Kings
- This was a 1 and a half pendant run. The half pendant was on the wall above the left-side markers in the Chamber of the Sacred Markers. There's a picture of this early on in the half pendant locations topic
- Only one temple guard was encountered
I'm having a hard time believing that this run was meant to be that easy. Was the Tomb of the Headless Kings meant to open after the column was knocked down? Was the Dark Forest-Shrine door meant to open only five rooms into the run? A part of me really believes a production error may have occurred involving one of those rooms. I mean, having the team completely bypass the room with the half pendant? That seems odd to me. I know something similar happened with The Mummified Hand of the Egyptian King (half pendant in the Chamber, the doors leading to the Tomb and Storeroom opening from the Pit), but that layout would've been a little harder given that team would've been forced to encounter two temple guards along the way, plus they would've had to complete more rooms had the front runner not entered the Tomb. I don't know if the Ivory Hunting Horn run was meant to be this simple.
Thoughts?
