The final is 52-0!

Manziel came in and didn't do much except on his first drive.

Also, the Giants lost to the JAGUARS!

Can't believe the Cardinals lost to the Falcons. That keeps Atlanta on top of the NFC South while Arizona is just one game ahead of Seattle.

So glad the Pats lost. Can't stand them. And LOL at the Giants for losing to the Jags.

I went to the Chargers-Ravens game today and watch the Chargers win it during the last :38 seconds. What an awful choke by the Ravens after being up by 10 with less than 7 minutes left. Although we deserved to lose anyways because our defense looked awful. Now we have to win out to even have a chance at the playoffs. :afro:

Congrats to TSM and GM1's teams for winning though.  :mrblue:   It's always nice to see the Pats lose. They are one of the best teams in the NFL, but they are only scary at home though. They have a trip to SD next week who is always tough at home. Although I am pulling for NE though just because we need the Chargers to lose as many games as possible.

And poor Cardinals, they can never catch a lucky break. I am not surprised the Falcons won though. They are by no means a good team, but they are better than 5-7 for sure. They basically had games like Lions and Browns in their hands before their awful coaching blew it. And I won't be surprised if the Cardinals lose out either. They miss Carson Palmer really bad.

Thank you PP319 for pointing out that I forgot to submit my picks on GameFAQs. Too many leagues I am part of and I need to cut back on them next year. Luckily, I was not even close to leading. :afro:

Here are my Week 14 picks. Only four games left! :(

THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4
Dallas Cowboys @ Chicago Bears (Cowboys are the most overrated team right now and got their asses handed to them at home by Mark Sanchez. What makes me think that Cutler can't do the same thing?)

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 7
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Detroit Lions (Will the Lions start their late season choke? Or can they actually beat a lowly team like the Bucs who they are suppose to beat?)
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cincinnati Bengals (Really want the Steelers to win, but the Bengals are rolling now after a 3 straight win road trip)
St. Louis Rams @ Washington Redskins (Redskins won't win another game)
New York Giants @ Tennessee Titans (If they can't beat the Jaguars, what makes me think they can beat the Titans on the road?)
Carolina Panthers @ New Orleans Saints (Saints are going to ride a nice win streak for the rest of the way)
New York Jets @ Minnesota Vikings (Despite no AP and QB, the Vikings have been pretty decent. They should beat the lowly Jets at least)
Baltimore Ravens @ Miami Dolphins (I am not very confident about this game, but they will give Miami a good game.)
Indianapolis Colts @ Cleveland Browns (Back to Earth, Cleveland)
Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars (Texans record is a result of beating cupcake teams, but it is a big step up from last year)
Buffalo Bills @ Denver Broncos (Sorry TSM, but the Bills have no chance in Denver)
Kansas City Chiefs @ Arizona Cardinals (Without Palmer, the Cards just can't compete with the big boys)
Seattle Seahawks @ Philadelphia Eagles (Mark Sanchez won't beat a real defense)
San Francisco 49ers @ Oakland Raiders (49ers can't afford to lose anymore)
New England Patriots @ San Diego Chargers (Patriots rarely lose two in a row)

MONDAY, DECEMBER 8
Atlanta Falcons @ Green Bay Packers (Falcons will be massacred in front of the whole world.)

No problem Stone Marker. ;)

Well, time to make my picks.

Thursday December 4, 2014

Dallas Cowboys at Chicago Bears (they couldn't beat Sanchez, so yeah)

Sunday December 7, 2014

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals (we suck and the Bengals are hot)
Indianapolis Colts at Cleveland Browns (Browns fans will be yelling for Manziel if Hoyer struggles early, which I think he will because the Colts are strong)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions (it all depends on which Lions team will show up)
New York Giants at Tennessee Titans (if the Giants can't beat the lowly Jags, a divisional rival to the Titans, what makes you think the Giants will have any success here?)
Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins (Miami almost blew it against the Jets, so this should be easy for the Ravens)
New York Jets at Minnesota Vikings (Minnesota's actually looking fairly decent while the Jets still suck)
Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints (Panthers sucks this year)
St. Louis Rams at Washington Redskins (just like the Vikings, the Rams are fairly decent while the Redskins suck)
Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars (8-8 is the Texans' destiny, as usual)
Buffalo Bills at Denver Broncos (I really want to believe in the Bills, but it's in Denver)
Kansas City Chiefs at Arizona Cardinals (the Cardinals can't win without Palmer)
San Francisco 49ers at Oakland Raiders (dysfunctional or not, the 49ers should win this one easily)
Seattle Seahawks at Philadelphia Eagles (the Seahawks are rolling while I still can't trust Sanchez)
New England Patriots at San Diego Chargers (could be a good one, but I like the Pats here sadly)

Monday December 8, 2014

Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers (I'll be impressed if the Falcons keep it close at any point in this game)

Also, I'm calling it right now. Both the Cowboys and Cardinals will not win another game this year. Cowboys will forever be 8-8 while the Cardinals can't win with Stanton, so they'll go 9-7. The Lions might also be in the same boat if they take a dump like they did last year. That could open the door for someone like Minnesota and St. Louis.

Edit: Just noticed that TRJ and I have the exact same picks. :o But yeah, I really do think the Cowboys, Cardinals, and maybe even the Lions will go winless the rest of the way. I know Dallas plays at Washington at the end of the year, but they lost to that crappy team earlier, and that was in Dallas! I think the Bears might be their best chance to win a game in December. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have tough opponents all the way through, including the Rams. It could happen. Same with the Lions, but they have three very winnable games in a row with the Bucs, Vikings, and Bears. They won't beat the Packers though, so the best they'll do is 11-5, but I don't think it will happen. It should be a crazy finish this regular season.

I would love to see the Cowboys finish 8-8. It would only be fitting to see them finish with the same record four years straight. :P And that is very possible with games @Bears, @Eagles, Colts, and @ Redskins left.

As for the Cardinals, I do hate seeing them fold after such an amazing start. :? They are the NFC team I want to see go all the way. But without Palmer, they are no better than the Rams. And their remaining schedule includes Chiefs and the rest of the NFC West. Even if they get one more win, it might not be good enough to make the playoffs.

I don't see the Lions choking either. But then again, they were 7-4 last year and lost games at home to the Ravens and Giants. And then lost to the Vikings in the last game to lose out on the division. Although they are pretty unimpressive at 8-4. It should be 6-6 because they had no business beating Atlanta or Miami.

Right now, I have to say that the Packers are the best team in the league. Looking at their schedule (vs. Falcons, @ Bills, @ Bucs, vs. Lions) they should be division favorites. That last game against the Lions might be big depending how the Lions play. And the Lions haven't won at Lambeau since the year PP319 was born. :P

Cowboys will still find a way to choke. They will be the odd one out.

Cardinals have choked the last two weeks, but they won't miss the playoffs. At best they'll be a a wild card. San Fran suck this year, St. Louis is too far behind, Dallas already lost to them, and Minnesota can't do much against good teams.

Prediction of playoff teams

NFC
North: Packers (They are the best team right now)
Shits: Saints (Better team than the Falcons)
Least: Eagles (Victory over Dallas was huge)
West: Seahawks (They've been on fire, and can beat the Cards again, however it's in Zona soon)
Wild Card 1: Cardinals (This is where they'll fall to)
Wild Card 2: Lions (Lost to the Cardinals, will lose to Packers)

AFC:
North: Bengals (Best team in this division, that tie will help)
South: Colts (Luck, No brainer)
East: Patriots (Brady, No brainer)
West: Broncos (Manning, No brainer)
Wild Cards: 2 of either Chargers, Ravens, Steelers, Dolphins, Chiefs, Bills, Browns, & Texans (This is too close to call)

My two wild cards in the AFC are the Chargers and Ravens. To me, they're the most impressive of the teams in the hunt for those spots. I don't know if the Chiefs will pull through or not and I'm having a hard time trusting the other teams, including my Steelers.

Here is my playoff predictions with 25% of the season left to play:

AFC East: Patriots - Another year where the Patriots win the division easily. Miami and Buffalo have far too many losses to give NE a run for their money.

AFC North: Bengals - Ravens already got swept by them, and the Browns and Steelers are too inconsistent to put a real win streak together. And that tie does help them.

AFC South: Colts - It is their division to lose. I don't see the Texans being a threat.

AFC West: Broncos - I don't see the Chargers capturing them with their insane schedule, and getting swept by Denver hurts the Chiefs

AFC WC1 - Chargers - They have a brutal schedule, but I think they will do just fine because of how strong they are in December.

AFC WC2 - Ravens - We have an easy schedule the rest of the way and for the most part we have been competitive in every game.

NFC East - Eagles: They made a statement by beating Dallas on their turf. Although they have to wonder if they can find success behind Mark Sanchez.

NFC North - Packers: They have an easy schedule the rest of the way and they are the best team in the NFC

NFC South - Saints: I honestly think they will win out because 3/4 of their games are against their pathetic division and they have the pathetic Bears on MNF.

NFC West - Seahawks: Niners have too many problems and the Cardinals are in a tailspin right now.

NFC WC1 - Lions: They have a really easy schedule the rest of the way and they won't catch Green Bay either way.

NFC WC2 - Cardinals: I agree with GM1 that they might end up earning this spot. I was going to say the 49ers, but they are 7-5 and still have games at Seahawks, vs. Chargers, and at Cardinals. So I think they will end up with 9 wins. And Cardinals own the tiebreaker over Dallas too.

I don't know who all the players are on the Ravens, but apparently someone on the defense with the last name Ngata just got suspended for the rest of the regular season for taking Adderall. People are talking about it on ESPN, so I'm assuming this is a big loss. :?

If that's the case, then the Ravens might have some trouble winning some of these games. That would open the door for the Chiefs. They would be my first team out because I don't trust the Dolphins or the other contending teams. I have the most faith in the Chargers and Ravens.
