Before I continue with this, I'd just like to say the following. As you can all see by the previous few posts, there are lots and lots of songs that people find annoying, overplayed, or just plain bad. While I did the best I could on this list, there are undoubtedly some that I missed. Something like this is a very daunting task for one person to come up with. There's always a chance I could do something like this in the future, perhaps as a collective effort with somebody here. And of course, there's some matter of personal opinion involved as well. Nonetheless, I think I did a pretty fair job despite my unfortunate misses and my limited knowledge of modern-day music.
Now that that's over, on to the real reason I posted: trivia!

- The oldest song on the list is “Surfin' Bird” by The Trashmen (#18), which comes from November of 1963, making it about 49 years old. The youngest song on the list is “Gangnam Style” by Psy (#51), which was released on July 15, 2012, making it only about six months old.
- “Gangnam Style” is also the only song on the list that is still on the Billboard Hot 100 charts--as of January 6th of this year, it's sitting pretty at #6.
- Out of all the songs on the list, one is from the 1960’s, 14 are from the ‘70s, 14 are from the '80s, 26 are from the '90s, 35 are from the 2000's, and ten are from the 2010’s.
- Of all the songs from the 2010’s, half of them are in the top 20.
- No artist has more than two songs on the list. However, seven artists are listed twice: Kesha (“Blah Blah Blah”, #100 and “Tik Tok”, #28), Justin Bieber (“Boyfriend”, #94 and “Baby”, #8), Creed (“Higher”, #91 and "With Arms Wide Open", #13), Katy Perry (“Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)”, #80 and “I Kissed a Girl”, #10), Miley Cyrus (“See You Again”, #68 and “The Best of Both Worlds”, #19), Will Smith (“Wild Wild West”, #52 and “Gettin’ Jiggy wit’ It”, #14), and Soulja Boy (“Crank That”, #22 and “Yahhh!”, #11). Of these, only Soulja Boy has two songs in the top half of the list.
- Two artists on this list are related: Billy Ray Cyrus ("Achy Breaky Heart", #7) and his daughter, Miley Cyrus ("See You Again", #68 and "The Best of Both Worlds", #19).
- 66 of the songs on this list are by American artists. As for the other song "nationalities", going by the lead singer's place of birth: 9 are Candian, 6 are British, 2 are Spanish, 2 are German, and 2 are Cuban. The countries that are represented by only one song are Australia, Barbados, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, Greece, Italy, Jamaica, the Netherlands, New Zealand, South Korea, and Sweden. In addition, one song is by a fictional entity (Crazy Frog).
