Anybody here an America's Most Wanted fan? I am. I've been watching the show for nearly five years, and in that time, I've only missed one episode. I think it's amazing how they've captured 911 fugitives and recovered 51 missing persons to date. Who knew that a TV show and web site could get this much done? So, is anybody else a fan?

I used to be an avid fan, I loved watching it. Around 2006 though, I lost interest because I didn't like their new format, we were seeing less and less criminal reinactments and more testimonials or advice for child protection (which, I will say, John Walsh is a hero for working so hard for children), so my interest in the show declined. I still watch it every now and then.....come to think of it, it's on right now, I think I'll go watch.

^ I know what you mean about the reenactments. I actually almost stopped watching myself in November 2004, because that's when John Walsh started driving around that gas-guzzling Hummer to the actual crime scenes and doing all the interviewing himself. Don't get me wrong, I think John is an amazing person, but I don't think he should be the one to interview the people involved. Back then, they only profiled about four fugitives per show. They abandoned that format about two months later.

I wish they would bring back that Cold Case segment, when they profiled fugitives who hadn't been profiled in 10 years. One fugitive they profiled last year hadn't been profiled since 1993 (murderer John Kelly Gentry).

By the way, they just caught #912.
