The guy said he might put up an MP3 recording of the interview on the site in the future. "Stay tuned," so to speak.

Really?! Man I can't believe I missed it. I wasn't able to listen to it!

If you're wondering, the station that did the interview is the on-campus radio station for SUNY Albany in Albany, New York, which happens to be 8 miles from where I am right now.  Had I known about it earlier (as in before it occurred), I might have given it a live listen on the radio (although their range for their signal isn't exactly great).

WOW, what an interview! I hope you guys all got a chance to listen to it. HEre are some inportant facts that we've learned...

--Kirk Fogg is his legal name.
--Kirk Fogg ran through the temple at the beginning of each season for fun. He won all three times, but wanted to throw up afterwards. He didn't have to worry about temple guards.
--Olmec's mouth had tear in first season.
--First show took 18 hours to tape, and was only one taped that day.
--Usually, four episodes were taped in a day.
--Kirk Fogg has no memorabilia from show.
--Somebody vomited in Pit of Despair one episode while doing the temple run. Had to towel her off, then made her keep going (for editing purposes).
--Kirk doesn't watch Legends often at all.
--Kirk was born in LA.
--He's making a new movie that takes place in Paris.
--He hates the first season for his performance and his shorts, as opposed to jeans.
--Has two sons: Jake and Luke Fogg. One four years old.
--Loves the Go-Gos
--One particular moat took 45 minutes to tape.
--Kirk attributes success of Dee Baker to himself.

Phew! That's almost everything. The interviewer said he'd have an MP3 file of the interview later. Very cool interview, no?

LMAO! I can't believe I missed this interview for a school dance thing.

school dance? I also had one that day!

The interview was very funny.  Later on, Kirk joked about the girl's vomit being an artifact, calling it "The Vomit Bag of Sarah Paulson" and "narrating" the story as Olmec.  No idea if that was a contestant's actual name or not ...I guess the only other way to tell which episode it was from would be to look for choppy editing in the pit.

Other highlights:
He liked the Silver Snakes, calling them a "scrappy, working class" team representing the proletariat.
He didn't get to take home prizes that the contestants failed to win.
Everyone, including audience members and cameramen, yelled directions at confused temple runners.
Not only is he a fan of the Go-Gos, he dated a band member.
His rivarly with that bastard Mike O'Malley.
Kirk will never die, thanks to the powers of Olmec.
Someone FINALLY picked up "Distortion" for distribution.  Kirk said it will be out on video early next year.

And I'm glad someone finally said it in the public arena: Kirk Fogg is the greatest name ever.

You got to be kidding. Who could hate Mike O'Malley?!

Well, he did swear on Get the Picture (at least once. One time is debatable).

Anyways, I wonder who the girl who vomited was. Now we're going to have to scan all the episodes to look for a girl who looks sick. I wonder if it was Tara (from The Milk Bucket of Freydis) after she fell into the pit. That would be an interesting task for someone to undertake. It would also be incredibly time-consuming.

I unfortunately missed the interview as well, but thanks for posting all the info!

I imagine it was a little bit of both. I'm sure he had at least a small rivalry going.

I think Kirk was jealous that Mike got partnered with Moira, and he had to share a dressing room with the temple guards.

Funny thing about potential vomiting and The Milk Bucket...

Right after she opens the door to the Laser Light Room, Tarrah turns away from the camera and there's a sudden cut to her going into the crawl tube, her head already in the door. She also looks vaguely ill after finishing the run (but that could just be attributed to her being exhausted and slightly injured from brickity-breaking herself). The voiceover might also be the explanation why Kirk gets her partner's name wrong - he may have been recording it much later, and someone may have told him the kid's name was Brandon. Any thoughts...?

Oh, i never noticed that before. That little cut scene is weird. Never noticed the voiceover for this run... i just thought Kirk mixed up the names... it's not that foreign of him to do things like that. :P
