Oh man, if I haven't heard enough about Brawl. My little bro insited that we pre order, so it will arrive in a few days.

Some of my friends weren't as patient and decided to wait around Game Stop till midnight.
Crazy, but that's how it goes.

I waited with friends for a midnight release outside of GameStop and proceeded to play the game for 12 hours straight. I'm still waiting for my own copy to arrive in the mail, though.

Is it just me or does it seem like they made Luigi especially stronger this time around? More so than other characters.

They did a lot of tweaking all around. DK, too, got a major upgrade. The game is exceptionally balanced this time around, though. I don't know how they did it.

Considering the seven year difference between Melee and Brawl, Nintendo probably took extra effort in perfecting it.

That's probably true. Melee was created within a time period of only ten months, while this game was worked on for more than two years. The gameplay just feels more natural than before. I appreciate it more and more each time I play.
