Things don't look good for our economy, especially considering the comments we've been hearing these past two weeks. I'm a bit skeptic of the "bail out plan"

What are your views?
Crazy, but that's how it goes.

You don't do nothing you don't wanna do
Be nothing phony about you
Keeping it real and do what you feel
You gotta eat
You gott eat Checkers!

My mom works closely with the stock market, and she could see this coming for a long time. That doesn't lessen its impact any more, though. We're headed for another depression. One thing to remember is that the first depression was solved by absolutely massive government spending to support the New Deal, so spending money to fix the mess we're in isn't inherently bad. With that said, I don't think this particular bailout plan is the best solution. I need to read more about the whole situation, since it will be our generation's responsibility to solve this problem.

Funny you should say that, I brought up the same idea in my economics class. Well not so much the entire idea you put down, but I mentioned the last depression, which ended with my economics teacher staring at me for five seconds before re-asking whatever current event question he had asked.

Well the good news is that the Dow and the Nasdaq went up 11%!  I just hope it keeps on going up and not down.

With the Dow Jones going way up one day and way down the next, I'm feeling a bit nervous about the economy right now.
