I'll give it a 8. I would've really loved it to see this team win. If Ashlie never stalled in the Dark Forest. I think this run might have either a Emiliano Zapata type ending or a Icarus type ending.

It wouldn't even have to be an Emiliano Zapata type ending if Ashlie didn't stall in the Dark Forest. She had well over a minute when she first entered that room. She got confused really bad though and even unintentionally traveled into the Mine Shaft. They were both really fast players, but they didn't have anything to show for it because of all the time Ashlie wasted in the Dark Forest. It probably would've been the second best Orange Iguana win IMO after Atocha.

Way overdue to be updated: Dolley Madison finishes up with a 7.80. The next episode coming up is "The Bone Necklace of the Blackfeet Chief."

I am giving Blackfeef Chief a 7. This is another temple run people try to make it out to be worse than what it really is. Leah and Brandon were slow players, but they weren't clueless or bad at all. If they moved a little faster during the temple run, they this might've been the first Purple Parrot win. And as slow as they were, Brandon still had one of the fastest monkey completions on the show. If only he didn't decide to travel down the entire central shaft with the Bone Necklace, than it might've been an Icarus ending. -_- But still, it wasn't too bad at all and I enjoyed it.

This run gets a 7 from me too. Leah and Brandon weren't terrible players at all, they just needed to move faster.

Also, Brandon didn't descend the entire central shaft, he went into Medusa's Lair, then the Throne Room. And time was running low anyways, so he probably would have just ended up in the Pit anyways if he hadn't gone into Medusa's Lair.

Blackfeet Chief gets a 7. Maybe if the Temple Guard was in the Throne room rather than the Dark Forest, do you think the run could've been a win.

Again, I'm giving a lower score than you guys. I'm giving this run a 6. It was an okay run, but with that layout, it should've been a win. Leah moved way too slowly and Brandon didn't have the best exit. However, I feel that he saved this run from being a complete disaster.

Even with Leah running too slow, the run was far from a disaster. It's not like she went in second and ruined the run, and it's not like she backtracked or anything. Plus, Brandon assembled the monkey in very quick time, so it's not like he did worse than Leah or anything.

Both Leah and Brandon remind me of "The Lost Whale Bone of Pytheas" where the Orange Iguanas in that run were so slow, but they weren't clueless or bad. Except Leah and Brandon were faster than those two. And while the temple layout was easy for them, all of the King's Storeroom/Room of the Ancient Warrior temple wins were easy (Enormous Iron Nose Ring/Sforza/Catherine the Great). So they did fine taking into account the progress they made with their speed.

Updating this early so I don't get swamped with it later, Bone Necklace finishes with a 6.80.

Next up is the final "failed escape" run on the list: "The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl."

Polynesian Girl gets a 9 from me. This is probably the most exciting temple run on this list next to "Henry Morgan". Kristen and Scott were a great team, but too much hesitations caused them to come up short. The biggest problem was that Kristen hesitated too much on the top floor. If she didn't pass the half-pendant in the Pit and went into the Observatory instead of the Mandarin Hand, then this would've been a close win. Either that, or have Jim go in second, and we would've had at least one bottom of the central shaft win.

But like I said, it was a good team effort and these two were the first to reach a bottom of the central artifact. And not to mention, this temple run was very exciting. I also thought it was funny how Kristen made those goofy poses at the camera too.  And of course, the Artist being the one grabbing the Portrait was pretty memorable too. So while these two didn't win, this is one the most exciting losses in the series and it never gets old.  :mrsilver:

With a mere three votes, Priceless Portrait finishes with an 8.33, concluding the "failed the escape runs" rankings.

I'll let TRJ (or PP319, since he's the OP) handle the order of where the episodes ranked. ;)

Here are the final rankings:

FINAL RANKINGS:
1. The Golden Earring of Henry Morgan: 9.00
2. The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea: 8.40
3. The Priceless Portrait of the Polynesian Girl: 8.33
4. The Comet-Embroidered Battle Flag of William the Conqueror: 8.16
5. The Good-Luck Watch of Empress Eugenie: 8.00
6. The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed: 8.00
7. The Bonnet of Dolley Madison: 7.80
8. The Two-Cornered Hat of Napoleon: 7.50
9. The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary: 7.40
10. King Tut's Cobra Staff: 7.33
11. The Golden Jaguar of Atahualpa: 7.00
12. The Bone Necklace of the Blackfeet Chief: 6.80
13. Pecos Bill's Lost Lariat: 5.20
14. The Broken Trident of Poseidon: 4.66
15. The Broken Wing of Icarus: 4.57
16. The Treasure of Anne Bonny: 4.00
17. The Enormous Feather of the Me Linh: 2.66

Here are my thoughts:
I agree with most of the rankings. I might switch "Polynesian Girl" with "Queen Boadicea" because I felt that the Polynesian Girl run was more exciting and a little more deserving. Maybe "William the Conqueror" could be above Boadicea also.

I would also switch around "Poseidon" and "Icarus". While both players deserved to lose, Icarus had a much more exciting ending than Poseidon. But otherwise, both runs deserve to be this low.

And Atahualpa seems a little too low also.

I forgot to say that I gave Priceless Portrait an 8. It was a pretty good loss, even if some mistakes were made.
