S1L4 day was another production day with lackluster episodes, except for Great Seal. Here is my thoughts:

LOST LOGBOOKS:
The Mr. Bubble temple game. I don't know why, but that made me chuckle. Anyways, Magellan was a pretty forgettable and uneventful episode. I always thought that Jessica was deadweight in this episode and did bring the Barracudas down. It's pretty embarrassing when both temple game losers have a higher score than a temple runner. Judging from your rankings, the Orange Iguanas looked like a pretty good team. I don't remember the early rounds very well, but the Orange Iguanas looked good in the temple games it seemed. The temple run was the usual S1 triple capture where the half-pendant is not in sight. That doesn't matter though, because Jessica sucked. The deadend ate up a lot of time, but even if they didn't enter it they might've not won due to her. I would've given her a four in the temple because she moved slow, entered the Harmonic Convergence for no reason, and had the slowest monkey assembly ever. Robert was a solid contestant though and I never had a problem with him.

I would rank this on as my third favorite episode on this day.

GERONIMO:
I really never cared for this episode at all, and not because of the lame win either. Judging from your rankings, both teams ranked worse than the previous episode. I never thought the Blue Barracudas were that great of a team either. Mitchell was just an average contestant throughout. I don't remember much about this episode at all either. I do remember the Steps for the Barracudas getting some answers at the last second. And I never noticed the comparison between the Silver Snake boy/Jonathan from "William the Conqueror". Maybe we should post their pics in the other thread because I don't remember the Silver Snake boy's face?  :o And yeah, the temple win was not great at all. Mitchell just basically walks through the whole temple and he even had the nerve to assemble the Silver Monkey at the end. He lost all credibility from me after I saw him do that. Only dumb contestants like Kimberly from "Poseidon" tries completing room objectives after grabbing the artifact. The Treasure Chest opening was just pure luck and he only went down it because that was the main purpose of using it. I doubt there was much strategy behind it. Even Kristen from the same day tried the Treasure Chest. Did that make her a strategist? I think a 5 for Mitchell is just fitting. What an overrated and lame win.

GREAT SEAL:
This was the only non Blue Barracuda run on this day. And interesting enough, it was the only one that I actually liked. This episode is a classic and I am glad that T90'SAAT played it.  :mrsilver:  And I never understood his reasoning behind giving a contestant a 1 in the Steps. If they didn't answer any of the questions, how is that the player's fault? He gave Damian, Jackie from Oracle Bowl, and Chris from Stone Marker all very low scores at the Steps because they didn't answer. The only contestant I could even think of giving a very low score would be the Silver Snake boy in "The Trojan Horseshoe".   As a result, it makes the player look worse than how they really perform. I am glad that you and PP319 ranked the players more fairly. The Silver Snakes were  fun team to watch. I love Shay's faces throughout the episode and her interview about collecting glass horses. The temple games were very fun from Nick knocking Kirk down to Kirk's stupid quote in the bamboo pole game. I really wished they used the bamboo pole game more.   And poor Nick tied a girl in his temple game. He seemed ashamed of it in his interview. The temple run is just like "Kamehameha" where Nick and Shay would've won if they didn't meet all three guards. They were still fast runners and making it one room away from an artifact with about a minute left is great. The temple guards were a classic as was the ending too. I agree with your rankings for this episode and the Silver Snakes were a solid team. Too bad they lost though. Definitely a fun episode and worth the watch.  :mrsilver:

AMELIA EARHART:
This is one of my least favorite episodes on the show. You thought Jessica from "Magellan" was bad? Kristen was even more of a liability to Barracudas. Seriously, the Blue Barracudas barely scraped by the whole episode thank to her. This was even a second chance for them! She did nothing in the moat and during the Steps, she only answered the questions incorrectly! Scott answered all three questions for the team. In the temple games, Kristen couldn't even win her individual game that Annie smoked her in. Notice a theme with her? In the end though, the Barracudas win and go to the temple. The temple run performance... was just pathetic. I remember I use to feel bad for her due to the hard layout, but her stupidity was the reason why they lost. Kristen was so slow and clueless that she didn't even give Scott a chance to enter the temple. Even giving her a 3 was generous. She was so slow, took a long time in the Wall Climb, had to rely on Kirk and Scott to guide her through the temple. And got lost in the Dungeon. WHO THE HELL GETS LOST IN THE DUNGEON?  :?

Scott was a good sport throughout the temple run and cheered Kristen on. Yet, he doesn't even get a chance to even enter at all. I am glad that he got a good score because he was the one that carried his team on his back. I would've definitely rather see the Purple Parrots in the temple. Or even Annie with Scott in the temple. I hate this episode so much and it was because of Kristen. She was a horrible player.

My overall rankings:
Great Seal > Moccasins > Lost Logbooks >>>>>>>>>>>>> Amelia Earhart

But Great Seal was the only episode I really liked.  ;)

Once again: It's SCOTT, not Jim. ;)

And yeah, I remember Nick in his interview from Great Seal calling his temple game "Mr. Bubbles." I also remember Nick saying Kirk was secretly pissed about his shorts getting wet when the cameras were off. Also, Shay was cute. I know this sounds kind of creepy since I'm also a girl like Shay, but there's just that something about her. XD And yeah, Jessica from Magellan and Kristen were just pathetic. Looking back at Jessica's temple performance, maybe I should've given her a 4. Not that it would improve her overall score in any way though. Kristen was just a lost cause, period. There is NO way a contestant like her would qualify for the show in Season 2 or 3.

I know I picked a pretty shitty production day to rank, but I figured I'd give a Season 1 day a try. If it's any consolation, it was a great day for the Blue Barracudas, when it came to advancing from round to round. They made it to all four temple games, and made it to the temple 3/4 times. It was much better than the Blue Barracudas losing at five consecutive moats on two different occasions. And yes, that actually happened. Plus, I wanted to compare my rankings to THK. Much like what you did for the S1L2 filming day. As you can see, I'm a much easier grader than him. I never understood why contestants often got a "1" for the Steps of Knowledge either. Almost every contestant he ranked have 3-5 averages because of that bogus grade. Just because you don't answer a question, doesn't make you stupid. To take our minds off the bad players, I'd still love to see your rankings on Gator and everyone on his filming day. But again, no rush, though you did say you had one more episode to rank on Gator's filming day.

S1L4 is not even really a shitty production day. :P Great Seal is a great episode, and Moccasins and Lost Logbooks were average but still watchable. Amelia Earhart was the only real bad episode that day. I will take this production over the S1L2 (minus Map to the Lost Gold Mine  :mrblue:) , S1L5, Grandy Nanny/Golden Stallion day, Snow Cone/Xerxes day, and the Lost Lion Tail/Sultan Suleiman day.

And yeah, I still need to review Red Sash for that one last episode for the Apanuugpak day. I messed up my rankings for that production day somehow. The four episodes on that production day include Red Sash, Broken Trident, Mussel-Shell Armor, and Lily-Crested Crown. However, I also did rankings for Gwalior and Pytheas despite them being on a separate production day.   I should have time this weekend though to finish the Red Sash ones. I already completed the other three from that day. And since I already 2/4 of the episodes from the Gwalior day, I will probably post that production day next. The other two episodes must be Belle Boyd (great episode, worth watching again) and Sojourner Truth (haven't watched this one in a long time, so it might be worth a rewatch).

Silly TRJ and your screwing up of your filming days. :P But, if you do rank the Pytheas/Sojourner Truth filming day, your job will be much easier and you'll only have two episodes left to rank. Now that I think of it, didn't RJF rank Pytheas' filming day and Jewel Encrusted Egg's filming day just before the database crash last year? I remember he did rankings starting in reverse production order. Much like how they were aired on Nickelodeon in 2007. And he started with the Jewel Encrusted Egg episode. But, if you choose to rank and post either one of those aforementioned episodes, it'll be new to us. ;)

Yeah, I do remember him doing rankings for both the Ruby Earring and Belle Boyd day. I think his plan was to start with the Catherine the Great episode and work backwards from there. I would probably go ahead with the Red Sash/Apanuugpak day first though since no one posted that one yet and that one is the closest to being completed. But I will probably do the Belle Boyd day also because I love that episode and I am already 50% done with Gwalior and Pytheas.  :mrblue:  :mrorange:

Here are some more rankings for you guys, and this time, it is S1L9:

LAWRENCE OF ARABIA'S HEADDRESS

Candace:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 7
Overall: 7.4

David:
Moat: 10
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 9
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 9
Overall: 8.8

Brittany:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 5
Overall: 5.5

Angel:
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.75

NOTES:

This was a great episode from beginning to end, and it's by far my favorite Season 1 episode next to John Sutter. David was a BEAST during the moat. He made it across in no time and naturally, him and Candace were first to finish. The Steps of Knowledge were a very close round, where it was a three way tie on the second to last step. It was also pretty humorous how Candace changed one of her answers from "lump" to "hump" and the Orange Iguanas attempted to ring in and steal her answer. Either way, the Green Monkeys joined the Red Jaguars on the final step in the end. In the temple games, Angel and Brittany proved to be no match for Candace and David. The Green Monkeys were very strong in the temple games, especially Candace, who smoked Brittany in the dragon tunnel game. It's where you had to crawl through one side of the tunnel, stick the cloth to their helmet, and then crawl on back and pull the cloth through the tunnel. Brittany kind of sucked in the game. She was just starting to make her way back with the cloth while Candace finished the game with 15 seconds to go. The third temple game is one of my personal favorites in Season 1. It was when they had to take a pyramid piece, and push it up the slope with their backs turned. And then their partners had to do the same. The guys didn't have too much trouble, the girls struggled just a tad, but since that's when the water starting spewing at that point, I'll let it slide. In the end, the Green Monkeys ended up winning and swept the Red Jaguars 2-0! Brittany sucked, and that's pretty much why her team didn't go to the temple. And the temple run was amazing. Candace did an okay job, but David owned everything! I could've given David a "10" for the temple run, but I figured a "9" was a little more fitting. I'm definitely not giving him an "8" that's for sure. He made it all the way to the Holes of Python room with 28 seconds remaining, and when victory looked uncertain, he REALLY hauled ass just to get out. And his climbing the Pit/Wheel Room walls certainly helped. In the end, David escaped with 2 seconds left on the clock! Solid temple run and episode. Nickelodeon certainly picked a great "world premiere" episode to air.

THE COLLAR OF DAVY CROCKETT

Shannon:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 6
Overall: 6.6

Adam:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 6
Tiebreaker: +1
Temple Run: 5
Overall: 6.25

Abby:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 7
Overall: 6.75

Eric:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 7
Overall: 7.25

NOTES:

This was just an average episode really. The legend was sort of cheesy, especially the "Davy Crockett let me go in peace" bit. I sort of liked how the legend mentions Texas, (the state I'm from :mrchameleon: ) numerous times though. Abby of the Red Jaguars was VERY fast in her game, where you had to climb up the walls, and place two Texas flags on top. Shannon did an okay job, but she just wasn't as fast as Abby. Plus, the game felt rather easy and rushed since only two flags were used. They couldn't give the girls more flags to work with? Adam was painfully slow in his temple game, the one with the dragon tunnel. He did start to make a bit of a comeback just when Eric crossed the finish line though. In the third temple game, where the teams had to takes turns climbing up the slope and dump the water buckets, the Silver Snakes literally barely won and forced a tiebreaker. Adam got the correct tiebreaker question (where Texas is known as the lone star state), and they go to the temple. The Red Jaguars were much faster in the temple games than the Silver Snakes, but they just weren't quick enough with the tiebreaker buzzer. Also, Abby kind of looks like Dana. The temple run itself wasn't that exciting. I did like Shannon's plan where she wanted to start in the Cave, go through the Wheel Room, then Throne Room, make her way through the Holes of Python, then the Golden Orbs room, and then make her way to the Shrine. But alas, that didn't happen, as Shannon was forced all the way up the central shaft. Shannon left Adam 1:48 to get the job done, and good LORD was he slow. I think that's what made the temple run even less exciting to me. Adam took longer to reach the Observatory than Shannon did. The collar was picked up with about 33 seconds left on the clock, and Kirk didn't declare the run a victory until Adam crossed the gate with 5 seconds left on the clock. And for some reason, Kirk said he finished with 8 seconds left on the clock. Also, what was with the shouting during this run?! I swear, Dana must've snuck into the audience and did all the shouting. Overall, it was a pretty uninspiring and unexciting win. And yes, the collar was indeed a pendant of life. :P Which was rather fitting since this team only had one pendant.

THE SNAKE BRACELET OF CLEOPATRA

Robert:
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 9
Overall: 8

Tracy:
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 6
Overall: 6.2

Samantha:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 6
Overall: 7

Joshua:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.5

NOTES:

Wow, take a look at Robert's score. For someone who didn't last in the temple long, he got a GREAT score! Imagine if he went into the temple second instead of Tracy. As for the rest of this episode, it was pretty average. It was kind of humorous how the Green Monkey boy kept folding his arms the whole time during the Steps of Knowledge. And he was much taller than his partner. The temple games were a pretty good round. Robert did pretty well in the temple game where you had to climb the walls, and thread Cleopatra's needle at the bottom. (I think that's how it went). Joshua sucked in this game, and moved much too slowly with the threading of the needle/rope. In the second game, Samantha was FAST with the push a brick up the watery slope with your back turned game. Tracy was kind of slow, and struggled quite a bit. Both teams were pretty neck and neck in the third game, but the Silver Snakes edged out the Orange Iguanas just a bit and won a trip to the temple. The temple run itself wasn't that exciting, but man, Robert was FAST! He was almost Robbie fast, too bad he was removed so soon. Tracy went in next and she did an okay job. She eventually made it to the Snake Bracelet with about a minute left, and exited the temple via the Fallen Columns and up to the Observatory. Where she broke the mechanism trying to force open the Observatory/Golden Orbs passage way. Either way, she made it out with 20 seconds to spare, where she didn't seem even remotely excited. I know you're tired from your temple run, but you could at least try to smile and celebrate your win. =/ That's probably why I don't find this win exciting and always forget it's a win most of the time. Just as I said above, I think it would've been much better if Robert had gone in second.

THE TREASURE OF ANNE BONNY

Katherine:
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 8
Overall: 7.6

Ron:
Moat: 1 (If you cheat during the moat, you don't deserve a high score)
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 5
Overall: 5

Joanna:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Overall: 7

Nate:
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Overall: 7

NOTES:

Well, after three episodes where the teams win, we get.... this. We all know by now that Ron blatantly cheated during the moat. Which is why I gave him a measly "1." Katherine was pretty bad ass though, and she didn't even cheat once. During the Steps of Knowledge, the Green Monkeys were very smart and were down to the last step in a heartbeat. Katherine was smart too and answered almost all the questions. Ron did answer the last question though, so his score for that round isn't too bad. Also, could the Purple Parrots be any taller?! Seriously, they're taller than Kristen from Priceless Portrait and the Green Monkey boy from Nathan Hale. The temple games featured some humorous interviews by Katherine, with her "Fred" nickname and all. Joanna's "argumentative" interview with Kirk was funny too. As for the temple games themselves, they were nothing special really. Katherine and Ron end up winning and going to the temple with 1.5 pendants. Of course, we all know about the temple run. Katherine was a beast, and it's such a shame she got taken out early. Ron sucked, but at least he found the half pendant on the Throne Room ladder, and needed it to fend off the Fallen Columns temple guard. One peculiar note I'd like to make is that we never get to see Ron complete the Golden Orb objective. Faulty door/mechanism going haywire maybe? Anyways, Ron reaches the Treasure with about 50 seconds left on the clock, and naturally.... completely blows it by going all the way down the central shaft. Pitiful. Like the aforementioned Snake Bracelet episode, this should've been a reverse order of players. Katherine/Fred wouldn't have scaled down the central shaft at the end. Also, didn't she look downright PISSED at the end? You could totally tell she wanted to murder Ron for blowing his load in the temple. And who could blame her either? Meh, this was an alright episode until the temple run.

Overall, this was a pretty good production day. A whopping 3/4 episodes on this day were wins, just wish it would've ended on a better note. *coughRoncough* It's pretty obvious which episode is the weak link here, but all the artifacts were at least grabbed. If that's one nice thing I can say. My rankings of this episodes are as follows:

Lawrence of Arabia >>>>>>>> Cleopatra >>>>>>> Davy Crockett >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Anne Bonny

I love the S1L9 production day. All of the episodes (including Anne Bonny) were great. And it shares one of my all time favorite episodes.

LAWRENCE OF ARABIA:
I... freaking... love... this episode!

Seriously, I never understood how people called it average or David was average. It was a very exciting episode from the beginning to the end. Your score for David proves that he ranks among the best on the show. And the Green Monkeys in general were strong. First in the moat, temple games sweep, and of course the nail biter one second win! Candace owned the dragon tunnel game, and Brittany did not even make it back before Candace was almost done pulling her piece through. Kind of felt like Joe's temple game from "Golden Ship". And of course, David owned his game.  I love the temple run and I always consider this the Green Monkeys best run. Candace was a decent contestant, but she got taken out early. The only real mistake he did was detour into the Room of Fallen Columns and Cave of Sighs. Other than that, he was a great contestant that some people overlooked because he was from S1. I love how he handled all three pieces of the Silver Monkey at one time. The temple exit was very exciting and I consider this the best temple exit on the show. He really hauled ass to get that Headdress out of the temple in time. I agree with the temple score of a 9. Overall, this was a great episode and my second favorite episode on the whole show. I can't wait until we rate it in the Episode rating thread.

DAVY CROCKETT:
My memory is kind of fuzzy for this episode, but I do remember bits of pieces. The Silver Snakes did have some close calls when it came to advancing by each round. Especially in the temple games where they came back for their team game. At least they won their tiebreaker questions unlike a couple of other teams in earlier episodes... The temple win was kind of lame, but I blame it more on Adam. Shannon moved fine, although she wasn't too special. Adam though was very slow though. This team should've not finished with 4 seconds left after having such an easy layout. He doesn't even speed up at the end of the run either. This win ranks down there with       and Shaka Zulu, but the Silver Snakes earned it. The artifact was very lame though.

SNAKE BRACELET:
This was actually a solid episode, and Robert was a solid contestant. He must've been one of those contestants like Shawn (The Trojan Horseshoe) and Joel (Enormous Iron Nose Ring) who was 15 at the time of the episode's taping. The Orange Iguanas were a good team also, but Robert and Tracy won it in the end. The temple run was an average win, but I don't mind it too much. Robert was very fast and if he went in second, then perhaps "Ruby Earring" would not be the fastest team win. Tracy was kind of slow though and I am not sure why she tried entering the Treasury from the Observatory. She still got the job done, but they should've had way more time left. Judging from Tracy and Robert's score, Robert was easily the better player on the team. It's kind of bad when your partner has a score that is two digits higher than you. Overall, I like this episode.

ANNE BONNY:
I will admit that I have a soft place for this episode in my heart, even if Ron does bring it down. You did the exact same thing I did for Ron when he decided to cross the moat unfairly. I gave him a lowly score of a 1 also. Unlike Jeremy from "Robert the Bruce", his cheating benefited the team and they did get lucky that he didn't get called back. Fred was easily the strongest player in this whole episode too. She won her individual game and carried the team through the Steps. I love the temple game interview with this episode too. Fred admitting that she was weird always gets me. :P The temple run was a disappointing loss, but that was Ron's fault though. I never understood what happened in the Golden Orbs with Ron either. This could can't go through a single round without something going wrong. He was a moron anyways from the way he moved to taking the long way out of the temple. I never understood how he missed the Bridge? If Katherine went in second, the Jaguars would win. One thing I like about this run though was that Fred was cheering Ron on. No other S1 run besides Scott from Amelia Earhart ever did this. This should've been a win though and we might've had a 4/4 successful day.

Overall: This was a solid production day for S1. No other production day was as good as this one. Even the most weak episode (Anne Bonny) was still much better than the other production days. My rankings:

Yeah, I believe Lawrence of Arabia is literally the last episode we have to rate. Just like it was for the "rate the wins" thread. We totally know how to save the best for last, don't we? And yeah, David was great. He's got the second highest score of anyone I've ranked so far. The contestant with the highest ranking? That would be Gator, he literally got a 9.4 average in my rankings. *coughyoustillhaven'trankedhimyetcough* :P

I just saw Davy Crockett today, which is why I decided to rank this whole taping day in general. Yeah, Adam was too slow, and it wasn't even a nailbiting ending either. No, it was just unexciting, period. As for Snake Bracelet, I'm pretty sure Robert said he was 14. I remember his interviews saying he moved around a lot and lived in Puerto Rico at one point. But yeah, he was a MUCH stronger player than Tracy. If he had gone in second, it probably would've been up there with "Benzibab" on quickest team victory ever. And Anne Bonny, Katherine/Fred definitely carried the team through the episode. And I also remember her "weird" comment in her player interview too. Ron totally sucked, and his cheating in the moat just barely got him a 5 average for his ranking. Way to go, Ron.

Also, I'm pretty sure THK ranked this taping day just before the database crash last year. I'm pretty sure he gave Ron a "1" for the moat too. One of the very few low scores I even agree with. Other filming days such as S1L8 and the first day of Season 2 were ranked as well, but nobody has replaced those yet. And yeah, this was a pretty good filming day, MUCH better than say S1L5 and S1L6.

I don't remember much from THK's review, but I do remember he gave David an 8 in the temple, which didn't make much sense to me when he gave Bobby a 7 and all Bobby had to do was run along the bottom floor of the temple. But if there was anyone that deserved a 1 in the moat, it would be Ron. Even contestants who were beyond horrible in the moat would still wouldn't rank lower than him. He was the only real cheater on the show where the team actually got away with it AND they benefitted from it. I use to love Anne Bonny a lot, but after watching it again, Ron brings it down a lot. I actually would've given him a 4 in the temple on account of being slow and taking the wrong way out of the temple.

And yeah, I still need to review Red Sash as that last episode.  :P  :P I don't know why I can never seen to get to it though. It's not a terrible episode or anything. Heck, I haven't seen the whole episode in a long time. I do remember the upside down temple games and the lame legend though. I really should finish it by this weekend.  :mrblue:  :mrblue:

Yeah, I don't get how Bobby gets a 7 for the temple run because "he was so fast and got lucky with a production error." But David gets a mere 8 for the temple for mysterious reasons? :? But yeah, Ron totally deserves a low score for the moat. And if it's true that Ron was the Purple Parrot reject from Davy Crockett, then I'm pretty sure he did nearly the same thing too. Only he crossed first, and his partner just wasn't fast enough to ring in.

And Red Sash is a pretty good episode. Not much happens other than the Blue Barracudas dominate every round and make so many mistakes in the temple. So they should rank pretty well for you, even for the temple run. Gator should definitely rank VERY high for you. He got a very high score on my rankings of him, and PP319 gave him a high score when he ranked him last year. We all know what the best episode is from that day.

I already finished the Apanuugpak score at least and I am sure Gator's score won't disappoint anyone here at all.  Apanuugpak was definitely the best episode that day anyways. Poseidon was actually pretty good up until the temple run. I didn't like Lily-Crested Crown at all though. Pretty boring and uneventful. I ranked that one and Poseidon back-to-back, so that was pretty painful. At least Red Sash will be enjoyable though. The Blue Barracudas in that episode were probably the strongest Barracuda team after Jennifer and Damian and Missy and John.  :mrblue:

Here it is - my rankings for the "Red Sash" day!  :mrblue:  :mrsilver:  :mrorange:

THE RED SASH OF TOKUGAWA IEYASU

Brandy
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7.5
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 6.5
Overall: 7.40

Quentin
Moat: 8.5
Steps of Knowledge: 9
Individual Game: 9
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 7
Overall: 8.30

Melody
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 6.5
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.38

Troy
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8.5
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.88

NOTES:

Good episode, I forgot how strong Brandy and Quentin were. I also liked the moat crossing that was used on this day. The Red Jaguars really were no match for Brandy and Quentin either. The Red Jaguar girl kind of struggled to get across the moat, and they were last in crossing too.

I always managed to laugh at the "I am grounded for two weeks with no TV" line in this legend. The producers were so lame sometimes in S3. Even some of the questions they asked were stupid. The Blue Barracudas also finished first in the round too. The Red Jaguars barely advanced again, and the Red Jaguar boy did all of the answering.

The Blue Barracudas were very solid in the temple games. Quentin dominated the temple game where the players had to grab pieces of sun and jump up and hang them on the ceiling. The Red Jaguar boy was very sloppy and kept knocking his pieces down. The second game ended in a tie, but Brandy was the stronger player anyways. If she didn't miss one of her pieces, she would've won the game easily. Even though she missed the piece, she was still able to tie the game. The team game though was kind of sloppy on both team's parts and Brandy was kind of shooting all over the place. Quentin also knocked on of his pieces down which cost them time. But still, the Red Jaguars couldn't catch to save their life. Blue wins and goes onto the temple with two pendants.

The temple run was a very solid effort by Brandy and Quentin, but a mixture of hesitations and a tough layout were their downfall. Brandy wasted unnecessary time in the Room of the Ancient Warriors and in the Shrine. But I wanted to point out that the Quicksand Bog was NOT open for Brandy until she completed the Silver Monkey. Quentin hesitated too much himself and he should've just entered the Quicksand Bog instead of the Room of the Secret Password. The team still managed to finish in the room with the Red Sash. They didn't grab it in the end, but they put up a great effort. Plus, Brandy did make it back to the platform and they entered almost every room. While I think "Queen Boadicea" was slightly better and more exciting, I liked this run a lot too. :mrblue:

THE BROKENT TRIDENT OF POSEIDON

Kimberly
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 7.5
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 3
Overall: 6.30

Tony
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 10
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: N/A
Overall: 7.50

Elizabeth
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 3
Team Game: 7
Overall: 6.00

James
Moat: 4
Steps of Knowledge: 8.5
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 7
Overall: 6.38

NOTES:
The moat in this episode seemed to give the teams a harder time than the last. The Green Monkey boy struggled pretty bad to get across the moat and he barely edged out against the Purple Parrots. Both the Silver Snakes and Green Monkeys were pretty weak during this moat.

The Silver Snakes turned around though, and swept the Steps of Knowledge. Actually, Tony swept the SoK and answered all the questions. Likewise, the Green Monkey boy did all the answering for his team at the Steps. The "Fucking Bucking Poseidon" game was not much better either. The Green Monkey boy literally fell off while Tony fell a second just before him. This temple game should've ended in a tie though, not a Silver Snake win. Tony fell off at the last few seconds and they didn't even count it.

The temple games though weren't as good as the last round. The first temple game featured a HORRIBLE performance by the Green Monkey girl. She struggled to jump up to the ceiling to grab the lightning bolts. The last 30 seconds of the temple game she couldn't even jump up halfway.

If you have been following Legends for even a short period, you know how big of a fail the temple run is. Kimberly grabbed the Brokent Trident with 53 seconds left AND still can't make it out of the temple. She had an easy layout with no temple guards and still can't get it done. She even drops the Trident to try the different suits of armor. Even before she grabbed the Trident, she was kind of slow and only reached it because of the easy layout. A good player is one that performs consistently while they are in the temple the entire time. She failed pretty bad and she should feel bad to about that performance.

Overall, this episode featured average teams with a disappointing and big failure in the temple run. Although it isn't a terrible episode by any means, but much better than the next episode at least.

THE LILY-CRESTED CROWN OF CLOVIS I

Katie
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 5.5
Team Game: 6
Temple Run: 3
Overall: 5.90

Judge
Moat: 8.5
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 6
Overall: 7.50

Erica
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 4
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.50

Steven
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 8.5
Individual Game: 5.5
Team Game: 7
Overall: 7.25

NOTES:
Honestly, this was the weakest episode from this day. I found it even worse than "Poseidon". Neither team was really that great throughout. Kirk and Olmec also sounded pretty loud in this episode too.

The moat crossing was pretty good in this episode, and much better than the previous one. The Purple Parrots crossed with no problem, but Katie struggled a little bit. Judge's moat crossing was kick ass though and he literally ran across it like there was nothing to it. And the Silver Snakes were so obnoxious in this episode. Just watch how they dance at the end of the moat. -______________- Just imagine if they went to the temple? Not even Kate was that bad.
The first temple game was another ceiling jumping temple game. -_- Just like in "Poseidon", both players seemed to have trouble reaching the ceiling, but the game still ended in a tie in the end. Judge's temple game was pretty bad though. The Purple Parrot girl must've studied the Red Jaguar boy from "Bifocal Monocle" who couldn't pull himself through the whole in the giant maze game because she had the exact problem. She made more progress than that Red Jaguar boy did, but she was still pathetic. The team game was close though, but it was tied with the Orange Iguanas going to the temple with a 2-1.5 pendant score.

The temple run was a pretty big fail on Katie's part in the Chamber of the Sacred Markers. She was moving fast too before entering the Chamber. For whatever reason though, she went stupid and took over a minute to complete the room. I know the Chamber was never easy, but over a minute? Really? Even after completing that room, she moved pretty slow before being taken out in the Shrine. It was hard to evaluate Judge because all he did was follow up on Katie's path. But he moved at an average pace, so I gave him about an average score. This team really should've done better and this was one of those episodes where the Purple Parrots would've done better in the end.

THE MUSSEL-SHELL ARMOR OF APANUUGPAK

Amanda
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 7.5
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Temple Run: 5.5
Overall: 7.20

Gator
Moat: 9
Steps of Knowledge: 8.5
Individual Game: 10
Team Game: 8.5
Temple Run: 10
Overall: 9.20

Nikolette
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7.5
Team Game: 5
Overall: 7.13

Jarrod
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 8.5
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 5
Overall: 7.38

NOTES:
Finally, a production day where the best episode is saved for last.

Out of all the moats from this day, this one was definitely the quickest. All the teams that got across never fell in and it was almost hard to tell who rang in first. No bad scores for me at all for either the Green Monkeys or Red Jaguars in this round.

The temple games were great fun too. Finally, we don't have to see the stupid ceiling game too. :mryellow: The girls' temple game which involved them being upside-down was close, but Amanda was a little slower than the Red Jaguar girl. She almost loses her helmet too! At least they tied the game though. Gator smoked the Red Jaguar boy in his temple game. He completed it with no problem at all, although the Red Jaguar boy did good and was close behind. But Gator completed it like there was nothing to it. After being good for most of the episode, the Red Jaguars blow their load in the temple game. It took them until the final 4 seconds of the temple game to knock one of their soldiers down. The Green Monkeys had trouble too, but Gator was a good sport and helped Amanda out when it was her turn to shoot his balls. It was a tie in the end, but the Green Monkeys go to the temple.

The Steps of Knowledge were good, although that Blue Barracuda boy's voice. And his answers were too specific.

The temple run in this episode was a classic due to one player: Gator. Honestly though, I never found Amanda to be amazing. She was slow and wasted time dangling around the Pit. She got taken out in the Dark Forest with 1:30 left. I expect that from mediocre teams like Heather and Casey. But that didn't matter because Gator owned everything. He was super fast, very smart, and the real reason this team won! I wish we had more players like him on the show. He was one of the best players ever, and so was this win too.

As you can tell, my rankings for Gator are close to PP319's ranking of 9.20. He was an amazing player throughout and will probably have the highest score out of every player ever on the show. And for good reasons too.  :monkeys2:  :monkeys2:  :monkeys2:  :monkeys2:  :monkeys2:

FINAL NOTES:
This was a good production day, minus "Lily-Crested Crown". I still enjoyed this production day and 3/4 of these episodes are worth watching. Apanuugpak is the star episode of this day though. Here is my my final rankings:

APANUUGPAK > TOKUGAWA >>>>>>>> POSEIDON >>>>>>>>> LILY-CRESTED CROWN

At long last, your rankings for Apanuugpak's day! :mrblue: My thoughts on them:

Red Sash was an okay episode. I haven't seen it in a while, but I remember the Blue Barracudas being very strong pre temple. And the Red Jaguars being no match for them whatsoever. And of course the ridiculous legend. XD The temple run was a nailbiter, they probably would've won if Brandy didn't complete the monkey when the Room of the Secret Password was already opened. Oh well, Brandy and Quentin did a good job.

Broken Trident was a decent episode until the temple. In the moat, it seemed like ALL the teams struggled to get across. It was also pretty voiced over and heavily edited too. Tony sweeps the steps for the Silver Snakes, so that sort of makes up for their rocky moat performance. In the temple games, it proved that the Green Monkeys were no match for the Silver Snakes. And BOTH Elizabeth and James were terrible in their games, especially Elizabeth. She couldn't even get the lightning bolts in the whole last half of the game. She even crossed into Kimberly's territory at one point. Oh well, at least the temple games are good for Kirk supposedly saying "fucking" instead of "bucking." And we all know about the temple run. When I did rankings on Kimberly, I gave her a "5." She was doing okay until she reached the artifact, where she of course.... drops the trident at the end. And then she has even worse exit plans by going into the Chamber, then down into the Tomb. Yet another "never send the slow witted player first" example. Come on, how hard is hold on to the artifact until you cross the temple gates? Olmec tells you this TWICE, both after he's done telling you the legend, and at the end of his giving of the temple rules. If it wasn't for her artifact dropping, she would've at least gotten a "6" for the temple run for me. After time was up, Kimberly looked both embarrassed and upset.

Lily Crested Crown is by far one of the most boring, filler episodes of all time. Judge was a beast during the moat, Katie kind of sucked. I totally remember the Silver Snakes doing that ridiculous dance after they crossed the moat. I don't know how they would've done in the temple, but I'm glad they didn't make it far anyways. I thought this episode was gonna be PP Pwnage with the Parrots being first in the moat and first during the steps. Unfortunately, they just barely fell short in the temple games. :( Erica kind of struggled in her temple game, but she wasn't Red Jaguar boy from Bifocal Monocle bad to me. Steven did an okay job, at the last second he pulled a flag down from the ceiling in his game. But it was an honest mistake, not cheating like someone here claimed once. He probably didn't realize that time had run out, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't counted anyways. The temple run sucked, Katie was doing an okay job until she reached the Chamber. And then took her sweet time finding that last marker. While the Chamber of the Sacred Markers is a pretty hard room, it shouldn't take you a while minute completing the objective. As soon as I saw that, I lost any and all hope for the run. Judge kind of sucked too, he kept running back and forth between the blocked off King's Storeroom/Ancient Warriors passage way. And couldn't even assemble the monkey on time. I gave him a "5" for the temple run in my rankings. Also, Olmec puts A LOT of emphasis on the "WITH" when saying, "return through the gates WITH the Lily Crested Crown...." Gee, I wonder why he had to do that, considering the last run we saw. -_-

And Apanuugpak was a GREAT episode! The moat has got to be the quickest in the show's history. I'm pretty sure the teams only needed 10 seconds to cross it. Gwalior's moat was short too, but I think Apanuugpak's was shorter. Gator was a beast this entire episode, especially during his temple game with the seal haven. He was up there in a flash like it was nothing, though Jarrod of the Red Jaguars was pretty fast as well. Amanda was a decent contestant as well, though she did kind of struggle in her temple game. And yes, her helmet was loose, though it was loose all episode. The Red Jaguars failed miserably in the team game. They couldn't even knock one soldier down until the very end. Gator and Amanda kind of struggled as well, but they at least knocked one down, by Gator. In the end, the Green Monkeys were clearly the better team. In the temple run, Amanda was an okay player, I didn't think she was bad really. Her only problems were in the Pit of the Pendulum, where she grabbed the rope too high. In my rankings of her, I gave her a "6." Gator was just incredible though. Seriously, there's no excuse NOT to give him a 10. He owned everything! He was so fast the cameras couldn't even keep up with him. I remember when I screencapped this episode last year, I couldn't even screencap Gator too much in the temple. From the time he took over for Amanda, until he reached the Dark Forest, I couldn't screencap him without the images coming out too blurry. Yeah, he was that fast. Alas, he reached the Mussel Shell Armor, and then escaped with 10 seconds left on the clock. Recording a very rare center of the room victory (the other being Lucky Pillow, another amazing run) in the process. A 9.2 for Gator is a wonderful score for him, my average for him came out to be a 9.4. If these rankings were like a GPA, Gator would be our valedictorian for sure. David from Lawrence of Arabia would be salutatorian. :D

Overall, great rankings like always, and besides Lily Crested Crown, great filming day. My rankings would be as follows:

Apanuugpak >>>>>>>>>> Red Sash >>>>>>>> Poseidon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Lily Crested Crown

Oh, and I fixed your post a bit so the smileys would actually work instead of being written in caps lock. And I changed the spelling on "Erica" and "Nickolette," and changed "Jared" to "Judge." ;)

I think I am going to change Kimberly's score to a "4" in the temple run. A "5" would be for a contestant who was slow, average, or just didn't do anything noteworthy in the temple. Since she was already slow up until the Broken Trident, she would've gotten a 6 at most if she had never dropped the Trident. But her stupidity of dropping the Trident and trying to complete objectives when all doors were open made me knock her score down. Although Tony and Kimberly sort of looked alike in this episode. They both looked like they were the same ethnicity almost.

I am surprised you remembered that many details about "Lily-Crested Crown" though.  :o I have literally not watched that whole episode since the Nick GaS days. But yeah, the Silver Snakes dance was pretty cringeworthy and stupid. Even Kirk looked like he got annoyed with it too. I am pretty sure they were doing that stupid dance in the SoK. I also never noticed Olmec putting emphasis on the "WITH" either. :o It makes sense though considering what happened in the last temple run in Poseidon. I think I am going to knock down Judge's score to a "5" also in the temple. I rewatched the temple run again and forgot that he was backtracking. Rewatching this episode again reminds me on why I never bother to watch it again in the first place. And I am with you, I'd rather see the Purple Parrots than the Orange Iguanas. It's not like the Iguanas dominated them either. (They beat them 2-1.5)

And yeah, Apanuugpak's moat was fast. I think Gwalior's was slightly faster, but it was also pretty easier compared to "Apanuugpak's" moat. All they had to do was run across a bridge while the Apanuugpak day team had to run across broken icebergs. The episode was a great view and I can never get tired of watching it. Admittedly though, it's not in my top 5 episodes just because the earlier rounds were lightly less exciting than other episodes in my top 5 (Catherine the Great, Lawrence of Arabia, Map to the Lost Gold Mine, Annie Taylor, Pirate Captain, and Atocha). But still, it was a great view. And I agree with your rankings for David too.   David, Gator, Jessica, and Jarrid all belong in the same rankings.

And thanks for changing those mistakes. I can't believe I called Judge "Jared". I was probably thinking of Katie and Jared from "Imperial Wizard".   For reference, here is production days I don't think have been covered in this topic:

S1L8 --> Covered by THK, but they were deleted.
Enourmous Iron Nose Ring, Ahmed Baba, Ivory Elephant, Missing Eye--> This might not be a bad day to cover. I might do this one next.
Lost Lion Tail, Cosa Rara, Sultan Suleiman, Jeweled Necklace --> Good luck with this production day, I could never sit through this one.
Mummified Hand, Egyptian Queen, Madame Tussaud, Lost Taj Mahal Turban --> Another production day that was pretty good that is worth doing.
Gwalior, Belle Boyd, Pytheas, Sojourner Truth --> I am already half-way done with this one, so this is another possible choice for me. But I like the "Ivory Elephant" day a little more.
