Yes, that's right everybody, with the departure of Nick GaS, so too goes The King's Storeroom, your premiere source for Legends info over the last forty-four months.

Jake and I released the new, illustrated, episode list as a way of thanking acknowledging everybody who visited the site. I urge you to check it out, and I promise that you will not be disappointed. Thank you, everybody on the forum, for supporting us for as long as you have.

We may still continue to post updates, but they will be very few and far between. Of course, I will still be here to serve you guys well on the forum. :wink: Thanks again!

Along with the sad departure of The King's Storeroom, I, Jake Potts, am leaving the site and Phantom's Temple for good. I know I wanted to retire a while back, but now I'm getting ready to enter my senior year of high school and I need to focus on going to college and getting my act together. Everyone, not to sound gay or anything, but I love you all and I wish you the best of luck in everything you do and for you to be STRONG Legends of the Hidden Temple fans the rest of your lives. Farewell!!!

That's a bit morbid. While it is true, it is times like these we should look toward a more bright future.

I just pray that day is not coming soon. I plan to continue working on this forum well into college, if it remains Phantom's Temple or not, I will continue the forum for years to come.

Perhaps not for the rest of my life, but for many more years.

Site closing notifications always seemed hypocritical.  I mean, you even said it yourself:

We may still continue to post updates, but they will be very few and far between.

If the information's still there - and REALLY, did you really think you could continually update information of a show that hasn't aired new episodes in thirteen years forever? - then there's no need to make any hullabaloo about a lack of updates.

But that's just my two cents.

I could have made great hullabaloo if I had posted it in the announcements section of the website. I could have garnered a lot of attention with a complex scheme to count down each day passed until the 31st. I could have done a lot more than this measly thread and a poorly-constructed statement explaining the state of the site.

Instead, I settled for a minimum. To you, perhaps, it's not a big deal, which is fine. I know that you've lost interest in the show and presumably the site in the same way I have. But to people who have relied on the site for information for so long, I think it's worth a brief article. Obviously, no, I did not expect to post updates about the show forever, but in the long time I have had the website that is all I have done. People are insistent; people want to know what's going on. I had a sleeveful of ways to boost the perceived severity of the change, but I left it with a simple statement to depart from the site as humbly as it started. I thought others on the forum would like to know. Others posting to commemorate it was optional.
