Why is nick gas going off the air?
« on: October 17, 2007, 09:57:00 AM »
The N, and nogin have their own channel, in fact, nogin is on 6am-6pm, and the N is on 6pm-6am on the same channel! Why would they try so hard to take nick gas off the air? The N, and Nogin is on basic cable, and cable, and sattelite, they should leave nick gas alone! Nick gas should be put on channel 3 on basic cable, since time warner bros., and that other channel that used to be on channel 3 were made into the cw.

Because shows airing all day for angsty teens can get better ratings than 10+ year old game shows.

It's because Viacom is a heartless company hell-bent on making life for "Legends" fans miserable.

Not to retort too harshly, but Viacom was the company that brought it back to cable Nick for a week or two.

Eh, because the N will blow by Nick GAS's ratings in about a week. Nick GAS's game shows are from the 90s and 80s (DD2000 sucks, it doesn't count.).. The N will show shows that today's kids actually care about.

Figure it Out and Get the Picture are leaving the channel on Halloween. Giving Legends 8 hours of running time.

True, but they forced YouTube to remove all "Legends" videos.

They have every right to stop people from distributing their shows illegally. While it was unfortunate for us, it's not like it makes them a "bad" company.

Right, but it's fairly unnecessary. There are more pertinent shows to try and police, rather than a kids game show from the early 90's that a very select few watch.

Priorities, priorities.

It's not like they're going to say, "take off every show we've ever created, except that kids game show we made... what was it? Ah, yes, Legends. That may stay."

I'm not suggesting they do. I'm just surprised they make the effort to remove such shows.

I mean, it doesn't much matter for any party. Viacom will still be rich, and fans can get their fix anyway. Welcome to the information age!

But besides my Inital 'That sucks' reaction... how will that work? Every time LOTHT runs it has eiter GTP or FIO beside it. so will they show the same 2 eps twice in a row??

How do you know that since Nick GAS does not have a website, thus, no schedule to look at?

EDIT: Nevermind, forgot about TVguide.com and zap2it.com
