This thought has been occurring to me for a little while now, so I thought I'd ask others about it. The question is simple: What contestant from each team do you think most resembled that team's animal?

Here's what I think:

Red Jaguars - Nate (The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea)
Blue Barracudas - Steven (The Silk Sash of Mulan)
Green Monkeys - Asher (The Jeweled Scabbard of Sforza)
Orange Iguanas - Josh (The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King)
Purple Parrots - Eusinia (King Tut's Cobra Staff)
Silver Snakes - James (The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale)

I have a new idea for a Legends trivia based game.

You think of a Legends episode and then give 3 clues about that episode, then everybody else tries to guess the episode.  If people are stumped, give another clue.  Repeat until someone guesses correctly and then it's his/her turn.  If you guess incorrectly, you must wait until another clue is given to guess again.


For example, if I say:

The winning team finished 4th in the Moat
The temple games ended in a 1-pendant tie
In the temple, the frontrunner had trouble completing the Jesters' Court

The answer would be The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen

I'll start with this:

The Green Monkeys and Orange Iguanas lost in the Steps of Knowledge
All three temple guards were encountered
The artifact was in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey

Alright, time for a HUUUUUUUUGE post.

In the Purple Parrots thread, I came up with the idea to create a new scoring system that would be based on all rounds of the show, not just the Temple Run.  The entire purpose was mostly to see if the Purple Parrots were still the worst.  I’m glad to say that team rankings did change around, and I think the new rankings reflect well on what actually did happen.

This was the scoring system I created:

For each team in each episode:

1 point for crossing the Moat
   An extra ½ point to the team that crosses first
   If a team got one player across, they get ½ point
2 points for passing the Steps of Knowledge
   An extra ½ point to the first team to make it down
      Another ½ point if they won by sweeping the first three questions
   If they didn’t make it, ½ point for every question they got right
Points in the Temple Games equal to the number of pendants earned
   An extra point to the team who wins
      Another extra point if they won by a shutout
½ point for finding the half-pendant in the Temple Run
   For solo runs, I award this point as long as the frontrunner clearly signaled the half-pendant
1 point for reaching the artifact*
2 more points for successfully returning with the artifact

*At my discretion, I could still give losing teams this point if they were screwed over by a difficult layout or a production fault.  I only ended up giving this to two teams.  Travis & Elisa from The Discarded Seal of Ivan the Terrible, and Jeremy & Elise from The War Fan of the Forty-Seven Ronin.

This is the way the teams are typically ranked based on the temple runs
