I think everyone has lost all hope in Nick Gas. There could, however, be a possibility of a complete change. Remember when Nick Gas had nearly every show airing, complete with the comercial-free Pumping Gas? I believe it changed from that to the horrid airing schedule now when the year changed. I could be horribly mistaken, but I do believe it changed exactly on January 1st. Perhaps Nick is planning a completely new structure for the channel (or planning to wipe it out. :( ) If anyone could remember when it changed, please post immediately.

The last new thing I saw on the channel was in November of 2004, which was that snowboarding interview segment about "image."

I'm not talking about commercials, but about the format of the channel. They had much more than the 6 shows they have now (all versions of Double Dare, Finders Keepers, Nick Arcade, (at a reasonable time,) Global Guts, even Scaredy Camp and Rocket Power. They also had Pumping Gas, where they showed 5 shows in a 2 hour time slot.) I realize the commercials will never change, but the shows aired might.

I think once GAS got rid of Pumping Gas, the network was doomed. After that, they got rid of nearly all their other shows until all they had was Legends, Nick Arcade, GUTS, Get the Picture, Finder's Keepers, Double Dare 2000, and Figure it Out.

It's been stated before, but I really don't think Nick cares about the station anymore. If they did they might actually put some effort into airing the shows we want to see.

What I'm saying is that there have been changes in the channel every year, at the beginning of the year. There's nothing that says Nick won't have the channel reconstructed at the beginning of 2007. It has happened many times before.

The thing is, they used to update the channel's shcedule and shows monthly, and at an arbitrary point in time, changed the schedule to the one it is now. I don't think there is any relation between the turning of the years and the changing of the schedules.

Let's bump this thread, since the first four days of the new year, have all produced different episodes.

Let the debates re-begin.

Need it be a debate? I think everybody just wants to speculate about what the future of the channel might be. The 2007 schedule change was nice to see. Now, let's keep it going.

I'm just surprised the guys that run Nick GaS picked an important day like that to end the 20-episode cycle and start showing all 120 again.  I thought they'd switch out of it on some random day.
If you have seen all 120 full episodes of Legends, copy and paste this into your profile for all to see.

Maybe it's just a new 20-episode cycle.

I sure hope not! (Even if The Very Tall Turban of Ahmad Baba is in the mix this time.)
