And for the original Sacred Markers, that needs the stickers from LBP1 to work. I had PP319 try to use the sticker remover to bring it to the other side, but sadly no luck. I did redo the Sacred Markers for the LBP2 verson, so I hope its easier then the other one. (Sorry THK, I used your idea for that room.)

Don't worry about it.  In my book, borrowing concepts is okay as long as they're not the main selling points.

This weekend, I'll have another chance to play these levels online. This will be the last weekend before I start my next college semester. I go back Tuesday.

So THK, how is the level coming along? Is it almost done? Sorry if it seems like I'm rushing you.

By TempleFan322:

"The "elevator" from the Tomb to the Shrine, that is 100% my bad. That was a rough draft for my LBP1 levels that I really didn't put thought into and never got around to changing. I did fix it for LBP2, and I'll go back and change it in LBP1 when I get a chance."

This elevator you're talking about. Is that the one where you grab the up-and-down ball to get into the Shrine? If so, then the elevator from a run like "The Wax Seal of Henry VIII" should totally replace those balls. I think I only managed to get into the Shrine with the ball once or twice. Although the Mine Shaft look-alike elevator is slow, at least it's efficient. Have you tried putting steps in that area?

Did I really just say that? That elevator is also defective. I'm trying the Betsy Ross layout now and twice I accidentally went on top of the elevator and got crushed to death. I also was underneath it when the elevator came down and crushed me. How about this idea? Why not just have the square elevator on the bottom to take you up (make sure it doesn't go back down once it reaches the top) and when it comes time to go down to the room below, just have the ball and string (for the runs these apply to)? I mean, it's easy to ride down holding onto the ball, but when it comes time to get into the square elevator, it's very hard to get in! Sometimes I have to go into the Secret Password to advance because of that damn elevator.

And that leads me to my next problem: busting through the wall to get into the Dark Forest. This also takes away valuable time because sometimes the bricks end up blocking my path once plowed through or pulled. The bricks end up getting stuck in between the left tree's left arm, blocking the path. I have to end up pulling the bricks out of the way, costing time. Maybe you can make the wall easier to break through? Maybe fix the left tree's left arm in some way?

Here's another one: fitting between the gap of the right tree's right arm when trying to enter the Jester's Court. This has happened quite a few times actually, and it's unintentional. Is there anyway to fix this? This wastes time too.

My next problem concerns the Rock Quarry. I've died here a few times for some unknown reason. When I try to fly and put a rock into the bucket, I end up getting killed. It's a rare problem, but one that you might want to look into. Also, I've never experienced a death in Medusa's Lair. How does that happen?

One last thing. I tried out the new Chamber of the Sacred Markers and it works, but here's the problem: when I first attempted this redesign of the Chamber, I wasted over 2 minutes trying to complete it. This resulted in a bad loss, and it made Katie from Lily-Crested Crown look like a goddess. I was wondering if you could post a video of how to complete this room in strong fashion and maybe provide useful tips on what to do and what not to do.

You don't have to fix all these problems right away. Take your time.

EDIT: okay, I just died in Medusa's Lair. Going for the jet pack and when it sends me up, it sends me up to the step and it crushes me. This just happened to me two times in a row.

Yeah. I'm deffinatly replacing those "elevators" in LBP1 when I get a chance, and I'm deffinatly making it a grab-active elevator..... If grab-active is a word. I made an elevator like that for a Legends level (a level that will never, ever see the light of day (it was a very badly made level)), and I never thought of putting that design in. Course it would have been easier.

For The Dark Forrest, I', gonna try and make the wall between the Forrest/Mindshaft smaller for starters so their isn't 2 sets of "rocks" and possibly make them out of a different material. That should also help with the rocks getting stuck on the tree's arm.

As for the other tree, I'm gonna try and tweak the arm so it's turned towards the ground more so jumping into The Jester's Court is easier and bringing the key to the door isn't a problems either.

As for The Rock Quarry, I put black gas (the stuff that comes down when you hit a 2nd Guard) in the bucket near the top. Theirs a counter in the bucket which is activated every time a rock drops in. The gas is there so no one can use 1 rock to activate the counter 5 times. They're gonna have to use 5 different rocks, just like how Olmec tells them lol

The Chamber I tried to make just likes THK's. I'm gonna try and post a video on how to do the room easier. My laptop is acting funny and I just got a new job that I start Tuesday, so I'm most likely gonna be awhile with that.

And for Medusa's Lair, try climbing up the left side of the ladder to get to the jet pack. I'll probably move that onto the wall so that the crushing death doesn't happen.

Hey, just a slight update. I'm remaking the ball elevator to look just like the elevator from the newer LBP2 levels. This one is gonna be grabable (again, grabable a word? I think, but I don't know). Anyway, that should stop the crushing deaths and the annoyance of being unable to gt into the Shrine from the Tomb.

I'm also working on the rock wall, but that's gonna be a LBP2 only update since I don't have the Dark Forrest in the other levels from LBP1.

The arm of the tree has been moved a bit, and if that doesn't work I'll put a piece of glass there to prevent jumpping on the arm.

And the jet pack in Medusa's Lair has been moved to cover the Temple Guard's door's non-existant peephole.

I have to work from 8 until noon tomorrow, so when I get home from that I'll fix some more stuff.

Oh, that's right.  I still need to finish it.  I'm so bad at this "not procrastinating" thing.

Hey, I'm stuck without a PS3 again. My trophy data is screwed up and won't let me play anything. But could someone go play LBP 1 or 2 and see if my levels are still up there. I don't know if they're up there or not still. And if they are, are they under the name "AmazingRed" or "MadMan322"?

Thank you

I would check, but I haven't been online for PS3 for nearly 4 months. Plus, I can't access online due to not having an ethernet at the moment. :(

Well, the verdict is in..... And while the levels are all intact, the trophy data is still screwed up and the only way to play on my profile is if I delete EVERYTHING from that profile. Instead of everyone losing my stupidity, I'm gonna leave that profile the way it is and start an all new profile and that means a much needed update to the Temple. All I need to do is beat both LBP 1 and 2 again (o joy) and the update will start after that.

Okay, more than two years after I started the level.  I'm back to working on it.

I kinda rage quit initially because I found out the way I was trying to create the HUD wasn't going to work.  Well, my little brother pulled me back into LittleBIGPlanet earlier this week, so I'm finally going to finish that level because I found a new way to make the HUD work for sure.  Plus, I've been working on backdrops for the rooms just so it looks better.

Everything I need to finish it, I know how to do.  It's just that it's quite a bit of work, and I'm kind of lazy, but I'm going to do my best to just finish the damn thing once and for all.

THK, I got pulled back in too, I completed remade my Legends levels from scratch after the death of my XxAmazingRedxX profile. Olmec is bigger, badder, and Olmec-er. I fixed the trees, the "elevator" that connects the Shrine/Forest passage and the stone wall. The Sacred Markers is a bit easier. The Shrine should be a bit easier. The Temple Guards follow you when activated, no more dancing. However, my nephew was over recently and he used my PS3 the entire summer and during the last few weeks to the point that my PS3 won't even read a game now. 8am till like 12-1am. Once it gets fixed (AGAIN!), I will post the levels.

And then, I had also made a brand new Ultimate Double Dare Obstacle Course. Much, much, MUCH more detailed then the last. I took out a few obstacles and replaced them with better ones and updated the ones I kept. The flags look way better too (those triangles sucked lol).

I also made a GUTS! Aggro Crag. It's not my best work, but it's a level I always wanted to make. It's got the same surprises and tricks that the actual version has, and I even threw in the My Family's Got GUTS victory zip line at the end. You also get the logo and the trophy for successfully defeating and completing the level.

When I get back on the game, I'll upload them and let you know.

Figure I'll throw this out there in case anyone wants to take a look.

I finally got back to working on LBP and posted a brand new level. With the way LBP3 works, it was a lot easier than the past levels I made. Take a look and enjoy.
