FF9 (again)

I'm going to try once again to play Final Fantasy 9 (Zidane, Black Mage war, etc.) This is probably the 7th time i've attemted it. The furthest I've ever made it is the Ilfa tree. Any tips?

Uh... train? Buy the best weapons/armor at that dwarf place... I'm trying to remember who's in your party at the Iifa Tree... Make sure stupid Eiko is casting cure magic the whole time (or regen which seems to help) and put her in the back row....her attacks are useless anyway.

What level do you think Zidane should be at by the time you leave the Evil Forest?

That's the forest right at the beginning of the game, right? G'ah, it's been so long since i last played that game... What level do they start you at?

If it helps any, at the end of the game, my Zidane was level 67. The rest of them were all in ther high 50's or low 60's.

The game starts you at level one. But I'm hoping to kill Ozma this time around and I hear you need to be high leveled to do that.

Yeah, i don't think i did that. Ozma is that huge colored ball thing, right? Yeah, didn't do that. Actually, i don't think i did many of the side quests.... FF9 kinda sucks so i was really just interested in getting the game over and done with.
