My cousin's afraid of heights, but he can ride a 200+ foot coaster because it's CONTROLLED falling. I believe acrophobia is actually just fear of falling, rather than fear of being very high.

I am scared to death of snakes and, strangely, escalators. I almost fell down one when I was a kid and get nervous whenever I have to ride them now.  :oops:

I'm scared of heights. I almost puked on the top of a tower.

I'm also scared of.... What's the thing when frogs are dissected and bugs are squeezed?
