Rate the Legends Room - Day 43: Jester's Court

So not long ago, a request to rehash an old poll/topic came to my attention, and I decided to take them up on that. Basically, we're rating the rooms on a scale of 1-10. Just like we've been rating moat crossings and color combinations. I figured we'd start a new topic on this. I could've bumped the other thread, but then it would make the original topic look too cluttery. So I figured we could start fresh.

And here's the basis of voting, as said in the original topic: So every day in the original post, I will have a temple room that you can vote for with a new poll. You can place a vote on scale of 1 (bad) - 10 (good). You can vote for a room on any basis: appearance, difficulty, objective, memorableness, etc. Once the poll is done, the poll will be averaged and the average score will be posted.

I gave this room a 2. This was easily the most useless room on the show. I mean, you just hit a bunch of actuators, seriously. And some contestants STILL managed to get lost in that room. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 1? The wallpaper. I really liked the way the room looked with that wallpaper, it was actually a nice touch. But the objective was so ridiculously simplistic, it really drags it down for me.

Okay look, I don't want all the ridicule I know I'll get for this, lol, but I gave the good old useless Heart Room a 3, based entirely on nostalgia!

When the show first came on the air I loved it, and the Heart Room was memorable for me as a kid, being that bright shade of red with the arteries stemming out, it really looked cool when I was young. It wasn't as iconic to me as the Shrine, Observatory, or Throne Room, but it always stood out to me.

Obviously, if you were first exposed to Legends at a later age, or at a later season, and thanks to our ability to reflect on the show and production quality aspects, it falls sort of flat in retrospect. And I understand that.

I know most of the forum will give this room a 1 and I get that and I have no argument against that. But I also had to be true to myself. Honestly, I was going to go as high as a 4 just for nostalgia factor, but I didn't want to anger the forum by boosting the average up that high. I know most of you probably expect and maybe even hope this room finishes last in the rankings, and that's fine. But I couldn't give it a 1 or 2.

Well, I gave it a 2 solely for the wallpaper. Since like I said above, looked really nice. But what kills it for that room is the utterly boring and tired "hit the actuator" objective. Hell they even kept the wallpaper for Season 2 for Medusa's Lair and the Room of the Mandarin Hand. Which may or may not say a lot. I definitely wouldn't mind this room (or the Treasure Room) finishing in last place though.

I gave this room a lowly 1. It was such a lame room, and it is sad that the producers left it in the temple for most of Season 1 before realizing that it was too easy. Not that the Room of Fallen Columns did it any justice. I do agree that the wallpaper was cool though. It actually looked like an actual human heart in a way. But the fact it was empty space makes me frown on this room. So lame and uninspiring, which is why it gets the lowest score possible.

Sorry for driving the average up slightly. Again, it's purely a nostalgia factor for me, plus the room did look pretty cool.

I gave this room a 2. The room looked cool, and didn't try to seem like anything more than it is. Unlike SOME ROOMS *coughtreasureroomcough*

I am not surprised to see the Heart Room get some votes higher than a 1. A lot of people gave it a 2 in the other topic. At least this room wasn't pretending to be something special... like the Treasure Room. I HATE the Treasure Room.
