I still have about a week of class left; exams are on the 15th and 16th.

I'm really liking the college environment. It's way easier than high school, the classes are great and interesting and everyone on my floor in the dorms is really nice and all. I love it so far. I mean, the only real problem is being able to get to sleep...

Thought you folks might like to see my grades. These are letter grades, BTW - the number grades are classified information.

Western Civilization: A-
Public Speaking: B+
Chemistry 151: B

I get to keep my scholarship because I didn't make below a C-. I'm happy.

So, I just got back from my last exam and with that, my first full year of college is over (I just have to pack and wait for my parents to drive me home tomorrow

).

Looking back, I KNOW I could've done a lot better this semester, but I'm wondering if it partially had to do with the difference in classes. In the first semester, I only had one difficult class (Calculus II), but this last semester, I had more than that, and perhaps I just couldn't adjust to it. I'll definitely have to prioritize a lot better next year if I want to keep my grades up? I have a feeling I can expect a low C or two...

Jeez, you're lucky. I only finish up tomorrow. But after that, I'm heading home. Strangely, I'm actually not feeling too homesick.

Just finished my last final, and I'll be heading home tomorrow. If I pass all my classes, I'll have finished up my third year in college--hard to believe I'll be done next year.

Well, last final is coming up today, and after that I'm heading home.

I'd say that wasn't too big of a transition from high school to college, but I'm still getting used to the environment here. Oh well, still got three years left.

So next week is my finals and I'll be done, but I might take one summer class at DVC later on just so I have something to do.

And hopefully we can get started on that podcast as well.

Well, I just found out I have a single room for next year, which is amazing considering I only requested doubles on my relocation application.

...Maybe I should start from the beginning. When I originally tried to reserve a room back in the spring, I was a little too late to get a single room up front. Eventually, I waited to see what rooms were left over at the end, and what I ended up with was a randomly assigned open double on North Campus. But even a month later, I couldn't find out what the room was, so I decided to fill out a relocation application so I could get something more definite, and the single room a medium distance from any lounge was a good surprise.
