Also, didn't the second temple guard cackle at John? You can hear it while Tia is entering the temple. If that is the case, I might change my vote.

Yeah, there was a very brief, deep laugh.

That's what I thought. With that temple guards laugh (which seemed to happen quite a bit in Season 1), I've changed my vote to a 3.

I cut the time short for Golden Cricket Cage of Khan, which ended with a score of 3.50. Next up is Elizabeth I's Golden Ship, which had guards in the Cave of Sighs, Heart Room, and Room of the Golden Idols. Please let me know if the poll closes before you get a chance to vote.

I gave the "Golden Ship" encounters a 2. Even though this run was memorable for being a quick triple capture, none of the encounters were memorable in and of themselves.

Yeah, I gave it a 2 as well. This run may have been the quickest loss, the captures were just average.

For some reason, it didn't let me vote at all. But I am going to give it a 3 though because I do remember a couple of the temple guard encounters since I have watched this run many times trying to find that half-pendant. I remember the Heart Room guard taking Josh out while he was on his way into the Room of the Golden Idols. And I remember the "Oh dammit" gesture Gabby gave when the Golden Idols guard came out.

I've fixed the poll so the poll closed date expires tomorrow instead of earlier today. ;)

Elizabeth I's Golden Ship scored a 2.25.

Next up is John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Goldmine. The three guards were in the Cave of Sighs, Throne Room, and Room of the Golden Idols. The poll is not set to close until 12:30 am, so that should be a good amount of time for everyone to cast their vote for this episode.

I gave the Map to the Lost Goldmine a 3. All three of the encounters were average, typical encounters. Jennifer's short scream in the Room of the Golden Idols is a little memorable. However, this run is more memorable for the victory and Jennifer's slip at the final gate.

I actually gave the Map to the Lost Gold Mine guards a 4. I remember the over-the-top laugh from the temple guard in the Throne Room when he was taking out David.  Seriously, you could still hear the temple guard laugh when Jennifer enters the temple. I also remember the guard in the Golden Idols startling Jennifer. Since these two stick out for me, especially the hysterical temple guard, I am giving it a 4.  :mrblue:

Damian, not David. ;)

I gave it a 3. It was an average encounter, though I did like the high pitched laughs from one of the temple guards.

I say 3. You know I always though those Temple Guard Laughs were sound effected when a player was taken from the Temple in Season 1. But there was nothing memorable about the guards in this one.

John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Goldmine earned an average score of 3.20.

Next up will be Star of Sultan Saladin, which featured its only guard in the Tomb of Ancient Kings.

I gave the "Sultan Saladin" run a 5. Even though only one guard was encountered, I find it very memorable. One of the defining moments of this run for me was when the temple guard burst through the golden door and Leah flinched. It was also funny to see the unencountered guard crouching in the corner of the Cave of Sighs during Leah's exit.

I gave it a 3, just for the unencountered temple guard in the Cave. Other than that, the real temple guard encounter wasn't that memorable.
