(slaps self in the forehead) I realize nobody knew then, I'm just wondering if someone knew if it was indeed the 40th episode of Season 3.  I'm sorry I didn't make that very clear.  Then again, I doubt they would've told Andrea, so I dunno.  Renegade says the run might've been postponed, I wanna at least know if this is true. (It couldn't be the last episode otherwise.)

I have a couple questions for you guys:

1) Of the five fastest victories in the entire series, how many were not completed with at least a minute on the clock? If there are any, name them all.

2) Name all episodes in which the teams were allowed to take a direct path to the artifact.  (This means no switching floors except for when leaving the Pit of Despair.  It also means that if the players did not enter all the rooms required to pass through to get to the artifact, it must be clear that they would not have to switch floors at any point before picking it up.)

3) In the entire show's run there were 16 episodes in which the artifact was located in the top corner room (that is, the Room of Three Torches, the Pirate's Cove, the Viper's Nest, the Lightning Room, and the Room of the Secret Password.) Players entered from either the bottom corner room or the Shrine of the Silver Monkey.  BUT? there were 4 episodes in which the player had to take the diagonal passage from the Shrine and then come up into the artifact room from underneath.  Name these four episodes.

I haven't seen anything more than the run for this episode, but I heard they used a unique pre-Temple Run footage for this episode.  If this is true, and given that Kirk says "Can they do it?" before they send Andrea into the Temple? don't recall ever hearing something like that in any other episode? I think that this is Episode 120.

However, I think we can find out the truth.  You know how Renegade put up the run for this episode? Some people commented saying that they know Andrea from Facebook.  Maybe we can get someone to interview her.

Woah? really fast. I can see it done in 1:10 thou, not 1:40.  That just seems way too quick, especially in the Dark Rainforest.  There's just no way Serena could reach into both trees and hand over a Pendant to a Temple-Spirit-possessed tree in 10 seconds.  Thou I have to admit with all the puns how it seems like you had the whole thing planned from the beginning, very clever.

Yakeera?  Ms. "All-the-doors-are-open-so-I'll-try-to-leave-through-the-Temple-Guard-door-in-the-Shrine"?  No Thanks.

It's like you said on your site? she had a good concept of what to do in each room.  I actually loved the episode and I was surprised how fast she went thru the Temple when I first saw it.  I wasn't sure who else to pick for a Red Jaguards girl? certainly not Lisa from the Keys to the Alhambra? and none of the other Red Jaguars runs were that impressive.

Randy>Tarrah

Tarrah, I love her, but she went the wrong way at once & doesn't know how to use a rope...

I picked Tarrah because she did the whole thing solo, even if she wasn't too fast and made a few mistakes.  Randy was the second runner in the Metal Beard episode, she only had to complete 3 room objectives (well, 4 if you count the Pharaoh's Secret Passage like I do.) Tarrah completed 7 before getting into the Observatory.

I wanted to pick the best boy and girl from each team color and stick them together.  So I got:

Red Jaguars
Taylor (The Helmet of Genghis Khan)
Yakerra (The Ivory Hunting Horn of Roland)

Blue Barracudas
Mitchell (The Moccasins of Geronimo)
Missy (The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor)

Green Monkeys
Gator (The Mussel Shell Armor of Apanupac)
Andrea (The Lion-Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta)

Orange Iguanas
Ty (The Lucky Medallion of Atocha)
Tiffani (The Much-Heralded Helmet of Sir Gawain)

Purple Parrots
Tony (The Snakeskin Boots of Billy the Kid; note that I actually haven't seen this episode but he's the only Purple Parrot boy to ever bring an artifact out of the Temple)
Tarrah (The Milk Bucket of Freydis)

Silver Snakes
Zac (The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen)
Leah (The Star of Sultan Saladin)

When are you gonna post this, anyway?

...

So they shoewd it 4 days earlier, so what? I still feel like we're gonna get the episodes shown above.

Am I the only one who remembers they took a one-day break from the 20-or-less-episode cycle somewhere in October? They showed The Useless Map of the Chibcha Chieftain and The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor, and I was hoping that would end the cycle.  But no, they started it up again the next day.

Olmec, I really hope you're right, but with another  repeat of a pair of episodes we've seen eight times in two months, it seems kinda unlikely. (And to think if they're not staring up the cycle again they skipped over 6 episodes I never seen.  :( )
