To upload an avatar, go to your profile by clicking the 5th selection at the menu at the top of the screen the scroll down to the bottom, you can upload an avatar from your computer there, keep in mind that not all images will be accepted.

As far as "making" an avatar goes, I have no idea.

If you want to make an avatar, photoshop is a very useful program. When I made avatars for myself, that's what I used.

Otherwise any other image editing program will work too.

Otherwise just find a pic online, and use the info given in previous threads
