Why do they have to assemble a silver monkey? I'm holding a poll to see if the silver monkey is better off in another color. I think gold would be best.

I've always thought silver was fine, but I guess another color would be interesting, who knows?

Silver's fine. If it was a different color, we'd lose Olmec's famous "The Shriiiiine of the Siiiiiiilver Monkey" pronunciation. Besides, I can't think of another good color that would fit. The Shrine of the Brass Monkey? The Shrine of the Purple Monkey? The Shrine of the Chrome Monkey? Nothing seems to fit as well as silver.

Yeah, Silver is the most suitable colour. I can imagine Olmec saying "The shriiiiiine of the gooollllden monkey", but silver seems to be the best.

It is an interesting thought though, if they were to change the color of the monkey from time to time. One episode it may be red, the next episode yellow, but Silver did fit better.

i always liked it as silver. gold would have been cool as well, but it just wouldnt be the same if it werent silver.

i always wondered why it wasnt jade or some other shade of green though.
