A little secret
« on: November 05, 2013, 11:40:43 PM »
I've actually focused more on a new YouTube channel that I started making videos for late last year. The reason I'm posting this here is because I don't want certain stalkers from other websites to know about it. If they find out about it, then I'll be made a joke of by everyone on another forum. This is a private board after all, so I'll post it here. If you ever comment on my videos, then please refer to me by the name Mew and NOT Parrot. That part is very important. Subscribe if you'd like. I'd really appreciate that. My MewLuvr43 account is 250 videos strong (with 45 subscribers though) and the videos keep on coming. So why not subscribe and give my videos a watch plus a like and/or favorite? ;)

Yay shameless promotion! :P

Interesting stuff there. ;) I take it these are video game commentaries while you're playing?

So PP319, I browsed your channel and I must say that you have good choices in games.  :mrpurple: I see you did a walkthrough for Tomb Raider? What did you think of the game? That game is a classic and one of my all time favorite series.  You really should try Tomb Raider II and III, they are also amazing and improve on TR1.

Also, Crash Team Racing is awesome. I have been replaying the old Crash Bandicoot games lately and they never gelt old. CTR is the best.  :mrpurple:

I love CTR. Such a great game. :D

The first Tomb Raider game is really fun. The graphics and aesthetics might not have aged well, but the gameplay is very good. Unfortunately, the only other TR game I've ever completed is TR2. I might play through that game as well, but we'll see.

The graphics for the original TR game are very dated. But out of all the TR games, this one was the funnest one to explore. And the tomb raiding theme is perfect in this game. I am not a fan of the save system though, which is why I don't replay it much. But other than that, this game is very solid.

TR2 is my most favorite out of the series. There is more action in that game and more weapon variety. I love the Tibet and Maria Doria levels. I wasn't a fan of all the human enemies. But this game is solid too. ;)

I don't play these games at all (yay for lacking in variety of games to like), but they all sound very interesting. This is a smidge off topic from these aforementioned games, but I have to ask. What is Resident Evil? This has been brought up here before, but I've barely heard of it. Is this some sort of shooting games? Sorry to go off topic, and I don't mean to intrude on your conversation and pester you, but I'm just wondering. I promise I'll back off this thread for good once you answer me. ;)

It's a survival horror game where you take control of a character and fight your way through mutated monsters and zombies. It sounds kind of cheesy, but the games are great and action packed. And also pretty scary too. It is also a big gaming series too like Zelda with a lot of different games. But the main premise is escaping from an area full of monsters (for example: a big mansion, city, and Antarctica are some of the areas that the games focus on.) It's a great series if you are into horror.  :mrpurple:

A mansion full of monsters, and Antarctic monsters, I like the sound of that. I wonder if any of those games have been reviewed yet via YouTube. There must be a lot to talk about if it's a big series like Zelda. :o

I would say that the Zelda series has a slightly bigger scope than Resident Evil. But both series are great and get a lot of praise. You should be able to find a lot of reviews about Resident Evil on Youtube too. ;) This series is definitely not for everyone, especially if you are not interested in the horror element. But it is worth checking out in my opinion.  :mrred:

Meh, I'm indifferent to horror. I don't hate it, but I don't love it either. But yeah, Zelda is much more popular than Resident Evil is. ;)

So I got in the mood to play more Zelda again. This time, not only the hardest Zelda game in existence (in my opinion; that's counting CD-I games), but one of the hardest games on the NES: Zelda 2. I already beat the game and uploaded the footage. Some parts are currently private to stay on a consistent upload schedule. It's nine parts and five of them are public right now. Check it out if you'd like. ;)

I hear Zelda 2 is VERY hard. Isn't there some dungeon called "Dark Palace" that always give everyone problems? But then again, aren't all the very early Zelda games hard in their own way?

The Great Palace, although Dark Palace sounds about right considering it and the trip to the palace are both very brutal. :P

Yeah, this one is VERY hard. Harder than the first game a wide margin. I like both games equally though.

I never played the NES Zelda games, but I have played A Link to the Past. This game came out before OoT and both games are very failiar in their own ways. Which is not a bad thing, considering they are both great games. :P
