« on: March 04, 2007, 09:10:18 PM »
There was a certian peice of music i loved on this show i'd love to get my hands on...or if someone could do a digital arrangement of it...I have multiple recordings of it from the show..but im having trouble removing the vocals of it myself >_< I have gold wave it does a good job some time..but the blasted crowd always over shadows the awesomeness of it..

I do have a rough MIDI version of that file on my site (click here). It's not perfect (the drums are off, for example), but at least it's recognizable.

I'm not sure exactly how to, but I might give it a try.

EDIT: And, oh yeah, I started making the temple introduction music a long time ago (I can easily play it on the piano), but the problem is that it takes a long time to transcribe because it goes into 12 different keys following the circle of fifths. I lost interest in the project temporarily but I might put some more effort in now that I see there is a demand for it.

Follow-up: It's not "digitized" yet, I've made a new and improved MIDI version for now. You can get that here (and never fear, it was added to my website, too).

I would take a shot of it myself with fruity loops but the sound effects for the VST and Soundfont..well don't work for some reason >_<. anyways keep up the good work I look forward to hearing what you can do :D.

Edit:Did you listen to that mp3 while you made that midi? XD just curious.

A little note. I've been trying to track down Glen Matisoff, the sound re-recording mixer, for LEGENDS. And, if I do find him, I'll inquire if he still has any original recordings from LEGENDS. The last thing that imdb says he did was a movie called "Live Freaky Die Freaky" in 2006. I'll try to devine his whereabouts from there!

edit: I'll also see if "The Music Machine" is still in business.
