*the camera zooms in on an ancient lush jungle, the palms are moving away as an elephant is heard. all the palms are gone, showing Olmec*

Olmec: Legends of the Hidden Temple. With your guide? Kirk Fogg!

*Kirk is shown walking down the steps of the Temple*

Olmec: And here he is now.

Kirk: Thank you everyone, nice to see you. Hello Teams. Thank you Olmec. Welcome to Legends of the Hidden Temple. The rooms are filled with lost treasures that are protected by mysterious Mayan Temple Guards. Only Olmec knows the legend behind each of the treasures in his temple. Which one are we going to hear about today?

Olmec: The Legend of the Ripped Sheet Music of Bach.

Kirk: Ah, the Ripped Sheet Music of Bach. Well one of these six teams will have the chance to retrieve the Ripped Sheet Music. Will it be *camera zooms into each team as they cheer & the usual* The Red Jaguars? The Blue Barracudas? The Green Monkeys? The Orange Iguanas? The Purple Parrots? Or the Silver Snakes? They?re going to have to pass some tough mental and physical tests, and in the end, only one team will have the right to enter Olmec?s temple, but first they have to cross the moat, and Olmec will tell us how they?ll have to do it today.

Olmec: Before you lies four swings over the moat. When Kirk gives the signal, the first player will step on swing and maneuver over to the next one. Once they are on the other side, it will be their partners turn to swing across. If a person falls into the moat, then they must start from the beginning. Once the second player is on the other side, they must run over and hit the gong. *Kirk bangs the Silver Snakes? gong*. The first four teams to hit their gong will go on to the next round.

Kirk: Teams are you ready?!

*the teams cheer*

Kirk: Olmec, are you ready?!

Olmec: Oh Yeah!

Kirk: On your marks? get set? GO!!!!!

(Event occurs)

Kirk: We have our four teams. They really got into the swing of things and now they have advanced. Going on to the Steps of Knowledge are the Purple Parrots! (applause) The Orange Iguanas! (applause) The Green Monkeys! (applause) And the Blue Barracudas! (applause) Red Jaguars and Silver Snakes gave it a great effort. We got some nice prize for them, and here's what it is.

Kirk: As the quest continues, it?s now time for Olmec to tell us about the Ripped Sheet Music of Bach. Everyone, pay close attention because your knowledge of the legend can bring you a step closer to Olmec's Temple.

Olmec: Of all the musical composers of Germany, he stood out as one of the greatest. His name is Johann Sebastian Bach. Born in Eisenach to an elite musical family, he started to learn music at the age of ten. Unfortunately, no one would teach him music, not even his older brother Christoph.

Johann: ?But why can?t you teach me brother??

Christoph: ?Because your way too young und my music is way too complex for you.?

Olmec: But Johann wouldn?t take no for an answer and decided to copy his brothers? sheet music onto his own sheet music. Legend has it that one day Johann was caught by his brother.

Christoph: ?Nice sheet music Johann. It almost looked liked mine?wait a minute, it IS mine. You little Sneak!!?

Olmec: Outraged of this event, Christoph ripped the music sheet in two pieces and forced him to play that melody. Surprisingly, Johann was able to play it without a single error.

Johann: ?Your music is way too complex? HA!?

Olmec: Feeling overjoyed, Johann took the sheet music Christoph ripped up and put in a frame so he can remember this great accomplishment. Soon enough the sheet must found its way to the temple. Your quest is to find the Ripped Sheet Music of Bach and bring it back here.

Kirk: So tell us Olmec, where is the Sheet Music?

*Camera shows the Sheet Music, and zooms out to show its location*

Olmec: The Ripped Sheet Music of Bach can be found in The Shrine of the Silver Monkey.

Kirk: Teams, you are standing on the Steps of Knowledge. In a minute, Olmec will ask you a question about the legend you just herd. If you think you know the answer, stomp down on the ancient marking in front of you. If you?re right, you?ll move down to the next level. If you?re wrong or run out of time, I?m going to give the other teams a chance to answer. The first two teams to make it to the bottom level will be one step closer to Olmec?s Temple. (To Olmec) Olmec, we are now ready for your first question.

Olmec: Johann was born in: America, Germany, or England?

(The Orange Iguanas ring in.)

Olmec: That is correct.

(The Orange Iguanas move down to the third step.)

Olmec: How are Johann and Christoph related: Father/Son, Brothers, or Cousins?

(The Orange Iguanas ring in.)

Orange Iguanas: Brothers.

Olmec: That is correct.

(The Orange Iguanas reaches the bottom step.)

Kirk: They went 3 for 3 and now the Orange Iguanas are going to the Temple Games. Who will join the: the Purple Parrots, the Green Monkeys or the Blue Barracudas. Next question Olmec.

Olmec: What is the capital of Germany: Munich, Berlin, or?

(The Blue Barracudas ring in.)

Green Monkeys: Berlin.

Olmec: That is correct.

(The Blue Barracudas ring in.)

Blue Barracudas: He ripped it up.

Olmec: That is correct.

(The Blue Barracudas move down to the second step.)

Olmec: After he ripped the sheet music up, Christoph forced Johann?

(The Green Monkeys ring in.)

Green Monkeys: To play the melody Christoph ripped up.

Olmec: That is correct.

(The Green Monkeys move down to the third step.)

Olmec: What did Johann do to the ripped sheet music after he played the melody?

(The Green Monkeys ring in.)

Green Monkeys: He put it in a frame.

Olmec: That is correct.

(The Green Monkeys reaches the bottom step.)

Kirk: These two team are moving on to the Temple Games. They are the Green Monkeys and the Orange Iguanas. Blue Barracudas and Purple Parrots gave it a great effort, and they are not going home empty handed. We got a prize for both of them, and here it is.

Kirk: Welcome back to Legends! Now the glory goes to the fastest and the strongest. But before we get started, let?s get to know our team players. On the Green Monkeys, we have Andy. He is a hockey player who wants to join the NHL. And his partner Carrie is from Alaska and has her own dog sled team. Let?s hear it for the Green Monkeys!

*Applause*

Kirk: And on the Orange Iguanas, we have Zach. He wants to be a professional bowler when he grows up. And his partner Pam is an acrobat and is a middle school cheerleader. Let?s hear it for the Orange Iguanas!

*Applause*

Kirk: Ok teams, go set up for your games, and I?ll tell you what?s going to happen. (To audience) In the temple games, teams are competing to win Pendants of Life. They need those pendants to protect themselves from the dreaded temple guards as they make their way through the temple. There are three temple games. (To Olmec) Olmec, tell us about temple game number one.

Olmec: Christoph ripped Johann?s sheet music in two pieces. Before your are half of the letters in the word ?music." When Kirk gives the signal, search throughout the pile until you find the other half of any letter in the word. Run over to the board and match the other half to make the letter complete. Then go back and find another piece. The first player to complete the word ?music,? or the one that is further along after 60 seconds wins.

Kirk: It?s just like a jigsaw puzzle. Lets put 60 seconds on the clock? On Your Marks?Get Set?GO!!

(Event Occurs)

Kirk: Times up! Lets see Carrie matched up 2 letters, but Pam matched up 4. So the Orange Iguanas get the .5 Pendant of Life. (Applause) The next game is also worth a .5 pendant. (To Olmec) Olmec, tell us about Temple Game number 2.

Olmec: Johann played the melody Christoph ripped up with out any error. Before you are 6 gongs which are in a code. When Kirk gives the signal, pick a gong to hit. If the gong turns green, the you may hit another gong. However if you hit a gong and it turns red, you must start over from the beginning. The first player to light all 6 gongs green, or the one that has the most green gongs after 60 seconds wins.

Kirk: It?s time to crack the code. Lets put 60 seconds on the clock? On Your Marks?Get Set?GO!!

(Event Occurs)

Kirk: Alright Andy. He successfully cracked he code, so the Green Monkeys win the .5 Pendant of Life. (Applause) It is a tie with a .5 pendant apiece, the final game is worth a full pendant. (To Olmec) Olmec, tells us about the last Temple Game?

Olmec: Johann copied his brothers? sheet music note for note. Before you are three sheet music. When Kirk gives the signal, the middle sheet music sheet will reveal a set of music notes. Once revealed, both teams will search for music notes and make an identical set to the one in the middle. The first team to make an exact copy, or the team that is further along after 60 seconds wins.

Kirk: This is for the Temple. Lets put 60 seconds on the clock? On Your Marks?Get Set?GO!!

(Event Occurs)

Kirk: That?s it! Way to go Orange Iguanas; they made an exact copy. So they get the full Pendant of Life. (applause) Final Score: Orange Iguanas a pendant and a half, Green Monkeys a .5 pendant, the Orange Iguanas are going to the Temple!! A great try by the Green Monkeys. They never gave up. We have a great gift for this team and here it is.

*Watches*

Kirk: *only Orange Iguanas are present* They?re smart and they?re strong. Now lets see if the Orange Iguanas can get through Olmec's Temple and retrieve the Ripped Sheet Music of Bach right after this.

Kirk: Welcome back to Legends. Zach and Pam have proven themselves worthy, and now have earned the right to enter Olmec?s Temple. But before they get started, Olmec is going to give them some information so they can retrieve the Ripped Sheet Music of Bach.

Olmec: You could start by running up the stairs to the Room of the Bronzed Gongs. Hit all 3 gongs and pass into the Walk of Fate. Walk on the beam across the pit to enter the Bee Hive. Pull the correct bee from its hive to head down into the Harp Room. Pluck the correct harp string to enter the Alphabet Room. Put the words in alphabetical order and shout out the last word to open the door to the Shrine of the Silver Monkey, where you can grab the Sheet Music. Assemble the statue and you may be headed for the Sliver Bell Sanctuary. Ring the correct bell and you?ll gain access down into the Cargo Hold. Smash the boxes to go directly into Dracula's Layer. But beware the Temple Guard that may be in the coffin! Spin the dial to turn night into day, and you?ll enter the Swamp. If you escape you may have a chance to go into the Throne Room. Sit on the Throne of the Pretender to open the doors. Then race through the Pit, climb through the Ledges, race down the stairs and back through the temple gate. The choices are yours and yours alone?Good Luck!

Kirk: Okay, you guys won a pendant and a half, who will be going first?

Zach: I am.

Kirk: Very well I?ll give you the full pendant and Pam the half pendant. *Kirk gives the pendants to the Orange Iguanas* Zach, when I say go, you?ll race through the gates into the Temple and make your way towards to the Shrine of the Silver Monkey where the Sheet Music is. Be careful, some doors in the Temple are locked and can become a dead end. Hidden inside the temple are Temple Guards, assigned to protect three specific rooms. If you enter one of those rooms, a Temple Guard will jump out and capture you. You can trade in your pendant to continue on, but if you?re caught without a pendant, you will be taken out of the temple, and it will be Pam?s turn to enter and try her luck. Hidden somewhere in the Temple is the other half of your pendant. If you can find it and you have the other half, then you will get an extra life. If you can reach the Sheet Music, all the doors of the temple will instantly unlock, and the temple guards will vanish. You have 3 minutes to return through the gates with the Ripped Sheet Music of Bach, and for your efforts, you both will be handsomely rewarded?and here?s how!

*Going into the Temple= a CD Player*
*Reaching the Sheet Music  within 3 minutes= $1,000 Gift Card from EB Games*
*Making it out of the Temple with the Sheet Music within 3 minutes= a trip to San Francisco*

Kirk: Alright, San Francisco, California. Well I wish you both the best of luck. Zach take your position?let's put 3 minutes on the clock...Olmec, lower your gate please.

(Olmec moans while Gate is lowered)

Kirk: On your marks...Get set...GO!!
