Weird legends clone show?
« on: September 13, 2006, 04:57:06 PM »
In the early-mid nineties, when legends was still on the air, I also watched a similar show that only came on early in the mornings. The first round was trivia, and then a contestant went into a large mirror maze blindfolded with their partner guiding them. They then got stopped by the "mirror man" and had to answer a question, once by, they had to desipher a very pixelated image and then go into a weird "ice cave" place and avoid stepping on these sensors. After that, they would enter a room with 3 computer generated heads and answer another question. If they made it past that point then they won, but this was rare. Does anyone remember this show or any info about it? I watched it all the time and and can't seem to remember much more about it.

I vaguely remember that show. I only saw it once, and it was on cable. I'll do a quick scan of the YouTube archives.

Yes Masters of the Maze. HOWEVER, they weren't blindfolded until the second part of the Maze. (The Honeycomb Maze or the Ice Cave) Also TWO teams made it to the Maze, with the team who had the quickest time in the Maze winning.

They put their visor down in the Honeycomb Maze i think.  There are a couple full episodes on YouTube and i saw one once, but i forgot where it is.
If you have seen all 120 full episodes of Legends, copy and paste this into your profile for all to see.

OOOH! Finally, someone who remembers! In my kids game show haydays I'd watch that every saturday morning on CBS.
Crazy, but that's how it goes.

UNFORTUNATELY, I've been told that those episodes (along with ALL copyright infringing material) are going to be removed in September.

They've said that before, but looking at the mammoth number of uploads to the site, it'll be impossible to monitor completely.
