The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor

- Both episodes are Blue Barracuda runs.
- Both episodes featured Red-Blue-Orange-Purple in the Steps of Knowledge
- Both episodes featured a Blue/Purple matchup.
- Both episodes had the Purple Parrots winning their individual games, and the Blue Barracudas winning their team game.
- Both episodes featured the Blue Barracudas win their tiebreakers after making a comeback in the team game.
- Both episodes were the first time an artifact was grabbed from their respective room space.
- Both girls grabbed their artifacts in their respective runs.

The Applewood Amulet of Emiliano Zapata

- The frontrunner on both teams was named Robert.
- The teams that lost the temple games both had a boy whose name started with J (Joshua/Jason) and a girl whose name started with S (Samantha/Simone).
- Both artifacts were placed in the upper left room space.
- Both teams entered said room space from the Shrine.
- Both teams encountered guards in the Heart Room and King's Storeroom room spaces.
- Both artifacts were brought out by the female runner.
- Both winning teams won 1.5 pendants.

The Collar of Davy Crockett
The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen

- Both were Silver Snakes runs.
- Both had the Red Jaguars losing in a tiebreaker.
- Both were one-pendant runs.
- Both artifacts were hidden in the Shrine
- Both frontrunners were female.
- Both frontrunners encountered their first guard in the bottom of the central shaft.
- Both artifacts were brought out by the male player.
- Both artifacts were brought out with less than 10 seconds to go.

The Plumed Headdress of Cosa Rara
The Lost Hornpipe of the Pirate Captain

- Both artifacts were located in the Mine Shaft room space.
- Both episodes saw the Green Monkeys going to the temple.
- Both episodes featured a Jessica going in the temple.
- Both contestants on both teams shared "J" as part of their first name (Jessica & Justin, Jessica & Jarrid).
- Both teams won 1.5  pendants in the temple games, with the half-pendant being won in the second temple game.
- Both temple runs featured the same layout (except the teams started in different entrance rooms.)
- Both frontrunners were taken out in the room to the right of the Shrine.

Also, both female temple game losers were named Mary. ;)

- Both artifacts were located in the center of the temple.
- Both episodes were taped last on their production days.
- Both teams finished second in the Steps.
- Both teams swept the temple games.
- All three temple guards were encountered in both runs
- Both temple paths were identical where the player had to retrieve the artifact from the bottom floor of the temple.
- Both frontrunners were females who encountered a temple guard in one of the entrance rooms and removed from the temple from the room to the left of the Shrine.
- Both second male runners failed to take the Shrine shortcut and entered the two leftmost rooms.
- Both runs ended in the Dark Forest.

The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass
The Royal Torque of Queen Boadicea

- Both were Red Jaguar temple appearances.
- Both artifacts were located in the Tomb of the Headless Kings.

- Both artifacts were headdresses that were wrapped around the head.
- Both artifacts were located in the Holes of Python/Jester's Court room space.
- Both temple teams swept the temple games.
- Both frontrunners detoured into the lower entrance room and met their first temple guard, ruining their team's chance at a solo victory.
- At least two of the temple guards were in the same room space. (Ledges/Cave of Sighs and King's Storeroom/Treasury of the Golden Orbs. It is also most likely the last guard was in the Mandarin Hand for the Dolley Madison run).
- Both second runners managed to grab their artifacts

The Oracle Bowl of Delphi
The Very Tall Turban of Ahmed Baba
- Both artifacts were located in the Observatory.
- Both episodes featured the Purple Parrots in the temple games.
- Both episodes featured a Jamie and a Shane in the temple games.
- Both male frontrunner names were Shane.
- Both temple runs featured a temple guard in the Swamp.

- Both episodes came down to a tiebreaker where the Silver Snakes won.
- Both teams encountered two guards in the temple and won the second prize at least. (Jeremy and Elise confirmed in a later interview that they were given a second prize despite not reaching the War Fan)

- Both episodes featured an artifact in the Quicksand Bog.
- Both temple games featured a 2-1.5 pendant score.
