Wow, that was quick! I thought for sure we'd still be in the 30s. So I guess my wish gets to come true by doing the following:

Yeah, it went by really fast. I am glad that I checked to update or else we might've had a winner without even realizing.

Congrats to Annie Taylor! Even though it didn't seem this way, this is the episode I wanted to win it all.   I mean how could I go against the #1 episode in my sig? The reason I kept hurting it was because I wanted the results to be close. If I had to make the final blow, I would've knocked Lawrence of Arabia out too. But then again, if that episode or Pirate Captain won I wouldn't be upset.       But I think Annie Taylor is the best and it will always be my all time favorite episode. It is very memorable, exciting, and emotional all the way through. Missy gave us a win you could never forget.

It looks like we feel the same way about most of these episodes.

For episodes like Blackfeet Chief and Belle Boyd, I don't mind if they are in the top 40. They might be completely forgettable and boring, but they have a better outcome than 3/4 of the episodes on the show. So some filler episodes will make it to the top 40.

I feel that Queen Boadicea deserves its ranking even if it is a little overrated. The Red Jaguars hardly have any good episode, and this is their one solid temple run after Catherine the Great. The earlier rounds were a little boring admittedly mostly due to Nate and Lissy's dominance. But I feel it deserves to be ranked higher.

Great Seal in top 10? Well, I wouldn't have a problem with that. One of the best examples of a classic episode. But I would choose Discarded Seal first as a loss in the top 10. But both are great.

The only episode I feel that is missing is Red Sash.

And I got this thread totally confused with the "Most memorable episodes" thread. So most of my thoughts might be a little skewed. Not to mention, that thread is almost done too. But yeah, I agree with almost all your rankings. And I guess I was getting Great Seal confused with Galileo. The latter which totally needs to be praised and talked about more. And I'm not sure if I would include Red Sash in the Top 40. I like that episode, but that's not the most memorable either. Plus, Brandy and Quentin made too many mistakes for my liking. Still a good episode though. But Discarded Seal is easily THE best loss ever. It was also the very first episode I ever saw, so it's extra nostalgic for me. So I would definitely include that in my Top 10 as well.
