LoTHT Awards - All Time Edition: Best Silver Snakes Female Player

TSM nailed it.  IIRC, there was a really old topic on this forum that actually said that John wasn't really a bad player and it was only Tia who was bad. I need to find that topic.

And Tia from Golden Cricket Cage wins this award. 

Now we can move onto something good, which will be the best Silver Snakes boy which features Jammin John, Shem, and Zac.

I voted for Jammin John as the best Silver Snake guy. To me, Jammin John did an amazing job with one of the first episodes ever. He finished first in every round and won in a close temple run. I know he had his moments in the temple and it shouldn't have been so close, but can you really hold it against him? It was literally the first temple run ever, and he won to boot! He also went through a lot in that run too. Zac was awesome too and I love to watch him go into beast mode in the temple and he is the reason why this team won. But I thought Jammin John was a little more fun to watch.

I was gonna vote for Zac, but I voted for Jammin' Jon instead. He was a great player, very underrated and never talked about at all. I'd even go as far as saying he was the second best player in Season 1 next to David from Lawrence of Arabia.

And I remember that topic of someone saying John wasn't that bad. Did this guy even watch the run at all?

It is clear that he never watched this temple run. John clearly had no idea what he was doing. After the Spider's Lair door didn't open, he went all the way back to the Cave of Sighs and tried pushing the buttons for those doors. And he spent 1:30 covering 4 rooms of the temple that included the Cave of Sighs, Wall Climb, Heart Room, and Throne Room. -_- Plus, Tia did not have 2 minutes to herself like mentioned in the post. How do you sympathize this run?

And I love how he compares John to Miriam from Bandit Queen too. I mean, I know Miriam was hesitant, but at least she had SOME idea what she was doing. Both John and Tia were completely clueless, early on in the show or not.

An just for the record, I don't think Zac is overrated at all. I know I sometimes call the Bandit Queen win a little overrated, but I definitely don't feel the same way about Zac. He was a beast all day and he is the real reason why this team won. I love Zac and have no problems with him at all. I just feel the win gets a little too much credit when Miriam almost blew it. But I like Jammin John a little better though.  But I definitely don't have any problems with Zac.

Right, and Zac is an excellent player. And I DID vote for him before changing my mind to Jammin' Jon. Speaking of the latter, Jammin' Jon isn't overrated either. Hell all three of these players deserve votes, even Shem the ladder climber. But I also like Jammin' Jon a litle more.

And my Zac post wasn't addressed to anyone specific either. I just wanted to clear something up because I felt like I was calling Zac overrated too when I was calling Bandit Queen overrated. And even then, Bandit Queen is quite possibly one of my all time favorite Silver Snakes episodes. But I do like Galileo a little better.

Galileo and Bandit Queen are the two best Silver Snake runs ever. But I also like Galileo a little more for its early episode quirks and Jammin' Jon's path was a little harder, and longer. I don't expect anything from runs like Galileo and John Sutter, because it was early on in the show. And obviously you're gonna have contestants who look a little lost. Still, I love Galileo though. It was a great temple run and Jammin' Jon was a great player.

And our final award is for the best Silver Snakes girl featuring Lea from Sultan Saladin, Kristen from Polynesian Girl, and Annie from BENZIBAB!111!!!!

I voted for Lea from Sultan Saladin. She was a great contestant and doesn't deserve the criticism she gets. I don't care if she took a direct path or might've  not moved fast every second, she got the job done and I enjoyed her run. She did great for an early Season 1 contestant.
