Like most other Season 1 rooms, the Observatory (Sundial) was very uninspiring. While this wasn't a "hit the actuator" room, the objective was not much more difficult or time consuming. There isn't too much more to say about this room. That's why I gave it a 2.

Yep, I gave it a 2 as well. That objective literally takes no effort to complete.

Perfect timing! The Sundial Observatory receives an overall score of 2.33. Kind of lower than what I expected, but it is understandable. ;)

The next one up is the Room of the Fallen Columns.

I gave the Room of the Fallen Columns a score of a 4. I wish I could give this room a higher score, but there is some things that bring it down. I do like how the room created an actual challenge for the center of the temple. The Heart Room overstayed its welcome WAY too long in the temple. It's too bad though that the producers waited until the very last day of S1 to add this room. But it was an immense improvement over the Heart Room. On the downside though, the room only appeared in four episodes So we hardly see much of it at all. Plus, the name for it is kind of silly and lame. They really could've gave it a better one. And when we get down to it, it was just the Heart Room disguised with a mass of cluttery columns. I would've gave it a higher score if it appeared in more episodes, but it was just a forgettable room that was another one of the many hit the actuator rooms of S1.

The Room of the Fallen Columns was far better than that plain Heart Room because it offered a bit of variety to the room, though it was not exactly difficult to navigate. Three of the four episodes in which it was featured a temple guard in the room, so it was not unexpected for a guard to be there. Additionally, the guards had trouble capturing the contestants, so it came across to me as a bit awkward. I gave the room a 3.

On the downside though, the room only appeared in four layouts. So we hardly see much of it at all.

I think you mean it only appeared in four episodes. It only was in one layout.  ;)

Yeah, I noticed that right after I posted it. I originally had that it appeared in one layout, but changed it to four episodes. But I forgot to replace "layout" with "episode".

That is it for the Room of Fallen Columns. It ended up with a score of a 4.0.

Next ups is the Tomb of the Headless Kings.

I gave the Tomb of the Headless Kings a score of a 5. I am sorry, I never liked this room that much at all. It had a cool concept and definitely the most unique room in that room space, but there are some things I don't like about it. The objective was way too time consuming and it felt like the average amount of time to complete the room was 25-30 seconds. I hate when the contestants wuld pull on the same vine for 10 seconds. Also, the room was dark and cramped, so it was hard for them to move around. And there always seemed to be a temple guard there too. I enjoyed the runs where the team didn't have to travel down into that room. It was a cool concept, but  am not a fan of it due to the difficulty of it and the room layout.

In my opinion, i gave this room an 8. It was by far, one of my most favourite rooms of season 3. i liked the screaming sounds when the vines were pulled and the skull that had to be attatched to the head. plus it was a common temple guard encounter.
