Yeah, it will make this project go by a whole lot quicker. Usually collaborations are written and posted in one day. As opposed to individual reviews which take over a week to finish. Hell I still haven't even started my individual reviews for Gordian Knot and William Tell yet. And I claimed those weeks ago. I'll be ready for your Sacagewea review, whenever you can get that ready. ;)

I (finally) sent you a copy of my part for the Sacagawea review. Of course, it includes the pictures already too. I left the Steps of Knowledge, Legend, and Final Verdict part blank. In the future, if you ever want to write a part for a certain episode, then let me know and I can work on a different section. Sacagawea so far has gotten some good scores for the rounds I ranked. It really is not a bad episode, but rather utterly forgettable. Once we are done, maybe we can work on Shaka Zulu or Davy Crockett next.  :mrred:  :mrsilver:

Great. The episode must've been REALLY forgettable if it took that long to send to me. As soon as I'm done catching up on the posts here, I'll send you my half. And I say we should work on Davy Crockett next, then Shaka Zulu. And one more thing, are we gonna work on every single episode as a collaboration? Or just the ones we have listed in the OP? I just wanted to ask about that. And I wouldn't mind working on all the rest of the episodes as collaborations either. Since like you said, it makes the project go by a whole lot faster. ;)

Time for our next review collaboration, and this time it is Lion-Slashed Jacket. It is no secret that this episode is very forgettable and boring, but it still managed to finish with a decent score.

THE LION-SLASHED JACKET OF SACAGAWEA

MOAT: 7/10

The six teams must cross the moat by using the ancient floating raft. One player will step on the raft and balance themselves while the second player had to push them across. While balancing on the raft, the player would not touch their partner or fall into the water or else they would have to start over again. Once the team reaches the other side, the player on the raft had to pull their partner out and hit their team gong. The first four teams to make it across will move onto the Steps of Knowledge. This was one of the most creative moats in the history of the show. It was the type of moat that placed emphasis on team work and it wasn't too easy or too hard. The four teams that made it across did pretty well too. The Purple Parrots and Silver Snakes made it across on their first try. The Green Monkeys and Orange Iguanas had some trouble crossing, but they eventually made it across and didn't take too long. This moat was both enjoyable and creative.

LEGEND: 6/10

(Credits to "Purple Parrots Fan" for her contribution to this section)

This legend centered around Sacagewea, who was Lewis and Clark's guide. One day, Lewis and Clark wanted to go hunting, but Sacagewea warned them about possible mountain lions. The men however, just ignored Sacagewea and went on their way anyways. Once they reached the forest, sure enough, they came across a mountain lion. The men tried to shoot it, but it didn't hurt the lion. Lewis and Clark then ran for their lives, only to have the lion catch up to them. At the moment, Sacagewea stepped in and saved the day. The lion swiped at them, and he even tore through Sacagewea's jacket. The lion eventually went away, and the jacket made its way to the temple. This was a pretty interesting legend, and it did talk about Sacagewea's jacket and how it got slashed up in the first place. Instead of the artifact in question being thrown in there at the last second. However, it could've been more detailed. It would've helped if the legend gave more of a backstory of Sacagewea and also Lewis and Clark for that matter.

STEPS OF KNOWLEDGE: 6/10

(Credits to "Purple Parrots Fan" for her contribution to this section)

This was a pretty average Step of Knowledge round. Not much to note except the Purple Parrots gave an answer of "What are Horses?" during the round. This isn't jeopardy, Purple Parrots! Eventually, the Orange Iguanas finished first on the final step. And the Green Monkeys followed suit not long after.

TEMPLE GAMES: 7/10

The temple games featured Mike an Lauren of the Green Monkeys facing off against Kendall and Aaron of the Orange Iguanas. For some reason, the temple game introduction was cut from this round of this episode. Kirk doesn't even introduce the name of either player on both teams. I am guessing they had time constraint problems with this episode? The intro to the moat was pretty short too. All three temple games were very close in this episode, and each of them were decided by one point. The temple games choice was also pretty good in my opinion, and these games weren't used as much as other Season 3 games. The temple games even come down to a tiebreaker!

Temple Game #1 - Trap the Northwest

In the first temple game, Aaron and Mike had to traverse a "mountain" by rolling on a giant wheel and collecting the four U.S. states and bringing them back to their correct position along the Northwest Passage. The player that collects all four states first or the player furthest along after 60 seconds will win. Both players kind of struggled to push their wheel, but Mike struggled more than Aaron. In the end, Aaron won with a score of 2-1. That puts the Orange Iguanas up .5-0.

Temple Game #2 - Shawnee Horses

Sacagawea provided Lewis and Clark with Shawnee horses to ride into the battle. These horses were wilder than what Lewis and Clark were use to. In this temple game, Lauren and Kendall had to ride on a Shawnee horse and try not to fall off. If they fall off, then their opponent will earn a point. The girl that falls off the least after 60 seconds will win. The temple game was close, but Lauren edged out Kendall and won with a score of 4-3. Both teams enter the final temple game with a score of 0.5-0.5.

Temple Game #3 - Roots and Berries

In the final temple game, both teams had to climb up a net and collect berries in order to feed the Lewis and Clark's men. The first player will have to launch themselves onto the net by using the trampoline and then grab one of the berries. Once they were done, they had to toss it through the net into their bucket and climb back down and grab another one. The teams that grabs the most berries after 60 seconds will earn a whole pendant. In the end, both teams were neck and neck and collected 3 berries a piece. With a score of 1.5-1.5, both teams are forced into a tiebreaker. The Green Monkeys were the team to answer the tiebreaker question correctly and were the team that got a chance to advance to Olmec's Temple.

TEMPLE RUN: 5/10

Mike and Lauren were just too slow of a team to face a long layout. They made it far in the temple, but they hesitated and stalled way too much. Lauren herself took a minute and a half to complete the entire central shaft. I know the central shaft was not easy, but you should not be spending all that time in those rooms. Leah from "Belle Boyd" and Jessica from "Pirate Captain" moved much faster through those rooms. After encountering her first guard in the Tomb of the Headless Kings, Lauren is removed from the temple in the King's Storeroom. Mike only had 1:16 to himself, but he moved slow too. He stalled for no reason in the Pit and Headless Kings, where he got his foot stuck in one of the vines. He did find the half-pendant in the Chamber of the Sacred Markers, luckily. After finishing the King's Storeroom objective, he wastes unnecessary time pulling all three arms down on the Ancient Warriors when there was no need to do so. Mike's time ended in the Shrine as he almost finished the Silver Monkey in decent time. There is not much to say about this temple run, except that the players were just average at best. Mike and Lauren were hesitant throughout this temple layout, and it cost them to come up short of a victory. No matter how tough this layout was, you should never move slow in the temple.

FINAL VERDICT: 6.2/10

(Credits to "Purple Parrots Fan" for her contribution to this section)

Overall, Lion-Slashed Jacket was just an average, forgettable episode. The moat featured some great competition, and the temple games were close and came down to a tiebreaker. But the rest of the episode as rather uneventful. Lauren and Mike were just average players, and moved much too slowly in the temple. While their layout was tough, they should've at least reached the jacket. Instead, they hesitated in every room, and came up short. While this is a filler episode, I still recommend this episode. There are really no bad parts of this episode, it's just really forgettable.

What's with the formatting? :? Isn't everything supposed to be in size 24 letters? Let's see if I can fix that....

Yeah, I literally tried 10 minutes to get it to work. But it would not take the normal format. :? When I set the Size=5, then it worked for the most part. However, this is not the standard font size that we have used for the other reviews. It is a lot smaller. Anything bigger than 5 though will negate the size tag.

My guess is that we used up all the bandwidth in this topic with the other 100 reviews we already posted. :P If that makes sense at all. So all the future ones might need to use a new format.  :(

That might just be it. Because when you sent me the review via PM, everything worked just fine. Maybe I could try posting parts of the review in another topic, just to test it. Otherwise, we might need to change up the format. Good to know it's not just me though. :P

Yeah, the one that I copied from your PM looked just fine and like the normal format. But when I posted it, the Size tags were negated. Only when I tried a small size was when the font worked. The font for Lion-Slashed Jacket right now is not too bad, but it is a little smaller from the other reviews. I don't mind using it for the other reviews, but I hope there is no problems in the future.  :?:

Yeah, I think this format is fine. I don't think we'll run into anymore problems. And if it helps, it sort of looks like the original format. All I need to do now is color code my name in the review, and then I think we'll be all set. On another note, which episode would you like to review next? I'm thinking Davy Crockett, and then Shaka Zulu in that order.

And another question:

I would rather prefer we work on the last 18 or so episodes together. It makes life easier for both of us. ;) Anything that will expedite the reviewing process, I am all for. So from here on out, every episode that we work on can be a team project. I think Davy Crockett is a solid choice to for the next review. IIRC, this was a good episode all the way through. The win was kind of lame, but everything else was competition and entertaining. We can work on that one next than the best solo win ever.  :mrred:

Great idea, I'll adjust the OP accordingly. ;) And Davy Crockett it is then as our next episode. It was a pretty good episode, but the win isn't very exciting, like you said. And we've spent so much time adjusting our episode review for Sacagawea, we never talked about the episode itself. It was a forgettable episode, I literally was not expecting it to reach the 6 range. The only other noteworthy thing that happened in this episode is the "What are horses?" answer for the Steps of Knowledge. Other than that, I often forget that Mike and Lauren even exist. Oh well, with Sacagewea done, we can update the production day rankings yet again.

Yeah, I always forget that Sacagawea ends in a tiebreaker. :P Although even though the temple run wasn't that great, I never thought of this episode being bad at all. It certainly isn't like Lily-Crested Crown of Robert the Bruce where those episodes were lackluster all the way through. Sacagawea was actually good in earlier rounds. And I am glad that you mentioned the Jeopardy part for the Steps of Knowledge. I was going to bring that up if you didn't mention it. The temple layout was tough, but these two moved too slow. Mike might've reached the Lion Jacket if he didn't waste time in the Ancient Warriors. I think that episode earned a fair score.

And that production day should rank pretty good. Bandit Queen and Chandragupta both finished in the 8-range. And both Judge Roy Bean and Sacagawea finished within the 6-range. This was a pretty good production day overall. We will finish yet another one when we complete Davy Crockett.  :mrsilver:

Well, I just updated the production day rankings post yet again. :P And Bandit Queen/Chandragupta's filming day ranks around 8th place. Both Bandit Queen and Chandragupta really boost it up. And even Sacagwea and Thornwood Gavel don't drag it down either. I figure it would rank in the middle. Even S1L9's production day should rank high too. Especially with Lawrence of Arabia ranking almost in the 9 range. Though have you ranked Anne Bonny yet? I don't recall if you did or not....

I sent you a copy of our Davy Crockett review. Unlike Lion-Slashed Jacket, I completed this one pretty quickly because this episode is actually pretty good and worth watching.  :mrsilver: All I need completed is the temple games and final verdict section. And I added the pictures like usual. If you want me to work on anything else, then just let me know. Otherwise, the review is almost good to go. ;)  :mrsilver:

My sections of the review have been sent. ;) You can post it whenever. With Davy Crockett done, I believe we can update the production day rankings yet again. As long as we've completed Anne Bonny though, which I still don't think we ever did.
