A lot of these runs deserve to be in the bottom 15 and I am surprised "Amelia Earhart" didn't make it.

TO kick off the bottom 15, out goes "The Dried Apple Half of William Tell". For a team that did exceptionally well in their temple games, they did a pretty lousy job in the temple. Brett was slow and hesitant, and the only contribution Lauren made was some unnecessary screaming. But in their defense, this was one of the most brutal layouts on the show, if not the most brutal one. I don't think we captured the team's true potential due to the high expectations from this layout. It can go next.

Yeah, Amelia Eathart should have been Top 15, if not Top 10 for sure. It was a terrible temple run that little to no redeeming qualities.

For the #14 spot, "The Oracle Bowl of Delphi" goes next. At least Shane was a good player, it was Jackie who ruined everything.

Taking lucky 13 is The Crown of Queen Nzinga. With most of these runs, we got to see potential out of the teams, and they were all bad (a couple of players weren't necessarily bad though). This run however, it's kind of hard to judge both players. I don't think Benjamin was bad. He moved at a reasonable pace. Renee however blew the run by passing up an obvious half pendant and we never really got to see her potential. So because of this, this run goes.

And with that reasoning, I probably should've gotten rid of it a little sooner in place of Lucky Pig or Enormous Feather. Oh well, all of these runs suck anyway.

Yeah, its getting really tricky and these runs have nothing really redeemable about them.

But out goes "The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass". This was one of the most annoyingest runs to watch on the show, and the team (mostly Jason) cheated going to the temple. Jason was slow and pathetic and kept backtracking for no reason. When he got taken out, Dana didn't have a chance at all to make any progress. She made some weird choices in her short time in the temple like taking the wrong Ledge door and running her mouth forever. But most of the bottom of the central shaft runs were almost always tough, and that was the case for this team.

Just missing the Top 10 is "The Secret Battle Plan of Nathan Hale." The run ended so quickly due to Christina missing the half pendant, but it's better than what's left.

Gotta go with the best of the worst right now. Taking 10th place is "The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh" (Yes! It made the bottom 10). Nick was solid in the temple. He made it to the King's Storeroom in one minute before being taken out there. Then Kim comes in and ruins everything. She was stupid and had no sense of direction. In terms of least favorite runs to watch, this might be in my bottom 5. However, it's better than what's left.

I have given this vote a lot of thought, so out goes "John Henry's Lost Hammer". It is no doubt one of the worst runs on the entire show. Kim was very dimwitted and took stupidity to a new level  not knowing how to push buttons in simple rooms like the Wall Climb and Heart Room. However, Billy was the saving grace in this run in a way. He was not given much time from the start, so he made it very far if we are taking in account his short time in the temple. Sure, he wasted time climbing the webbing in the Spider's Lair. But he also made it two rooms away from the artifact too A crappy run, but I cannot stand the remaining runs at all.

I was expecting Lost Hammer to make it to Top 5. But oh well, at least Billy was good.

For the next elimination, the #8 spot is "The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King." Josh was good in the short time he was in the temple for. It was Kerry who was too slow and ruined the whole run. But, it's best of the worst at this point.

Yeah, it was really hard to choose which run would go next. But if you take in account the progress that Billy made alone with the short time he had, he made it really far and ended up finishing two rooms away from the artifact despite Kim's stupidity. Most of the runs left had second runners who made abysmal progress.

My second vote will get rid of "The Marble Armrest of Xerxes". This team was pretty piss poor in the temple and I hate to watch this run. The frontrunner took almost two minutes to complete the bottom floor and hesistated to complete most of the objectives. The second runner had over a minute to himself, yet he can't even get past the Pharoah's Secret Slide. They didn't even belong in the temple in the first place. In their defense though, this layout was downright brutal and not giving them any shortcuts was unfair. But that is no excuse or their patheticness.

Just missing the Top 5 is "The Lost Lion Tail of Little John." It's a terrible temple run, but at least Marie was good. Claude was the clueless one. The remaining 5 runs have NO redeeming players. I guess the same reasoning can be said with "Alhambra," but I can tolerate Lost Lion Tail a little more.

Starting off the top 5 is "The Keys to the Alhambra". Yes, this run sucks, but unlike the remaining runs, this one does have a redeeming factor: Steve. This boy was a beast in his short stay. He made it to the Tomb of the Ancient Kings in like 30 seconds, which is amazing. Now Lisa traced his steps pretty well, but despite the Tomb confusion, you should NOT backtrack all the way to the Cave of Sighs. She added one room onto Steve's progress, but that was the Heart Room of all places. That doesn't count. Lisa's stupidity is what makes this run piss-poor. It takes 5th place.

Next to go is the first temple run ever, "Blackbeard's Treasure Map". Sabrina was a terrible player in the temple and its her own damn fault that this run ended this way. She never tried the button fully in the Wheel Room leading to the Room of Harmonic Convergence. I am pretty sure that the door would've opened, as evident by how she was suppose to go down from the Heart Room. Then she backtracks all the way to the Heart Room before she basically just gives up and goes back to the temple gates. In her defense though, this was the first ever temple run on the show. Plus, she covered the same amount of rooms by herself as the teams as a whole covered in the remaining runs covered. Plus, James never got a chance to show his talents to the audience due to the audience stupidity. Meanwhile, the remaining runs had a team that didn't know what they were doing period.

I still don't understand how Blackbeard is "the first run ever recorded." The entire episodes was record in the S1L5 temple, and had the same moat as all the other episodes from that filming day. Just because it was "episode 1" doesn't make it the first episode. It could have been intended to be the first episode, but it for some reason got pushed back to S1L5. I'm definitely not complaining about the spot it was eliminated at, but I refuse to call it "the pilot episode."

As for the #3 spot, it goes to "The Snow Cone of Mt. Kilimanjaro." It is by far one of the worst temple runs in the shows history, but it's slightly better than the final two.

Wasn't there a Kirk Fogg interview where he said that Blackbeard's Treasure Map was indeed the first episode ever? He said it took over 18 hours to finish and because of that, Sabrina probably wasn't thinking straight and gave us an awful temple run.

I think that run and The Golden Cup of Belshazzar were the two episodes in that 18 hour span. Because it took so long to finish those two episodes, the producers probably scrapped that layout and replaced it with the one Galileo's Cannonball started off with. Blackbeard's layout was probably brought back later in the season. Is it any wonder why that layout never saw any victories?
