Another big season coming up. I feel that this is the make or break year for the Packers since we're tight on cap. It just makes me sick we lose on the last play in the playoffs too often. Seriously, under McCarthy we have had 5 playoff losses on the last play of the game, including the last 3 years. No other coach has more than 2. We need to finish. Should be good getting Nelson back, but Rodgers & Lacy need to step it up as well as the D.

About time Brady gets what he deserves.  I hate the Patriots a lot, just as much as Chicago, Detroit, & Minnesota.

Doesn't look like a repeat for the Broncos. That being said, I don't see the Panthers in the Super Bowl either.

The Rams are back in LA! :) Don't get too excited, Fisher is still their coach.

My playoff predictions

NFC North
1. Packers (They look the best of the North even though the Vikings passed them last year)
2. Vikings (Minor stepback, but still playoff bound. New Stadium)
3. Lions (Finished well last year, but not there yet)
4. Bears (Cutler is still here)

NFC South
1. Panthers (Until anyone can build a good team, they are the class of the South)
2. Buccaneers (Winston is turning out to be a success so far)
3. Falcons (Mediocre)
4. Saints (Team is heading downhill and old)

NFC East
1. Cowboys (Had to pick someone, this is as long as Romo is healthy and 2014 self)
2. Giants (Offense is looking good with Eli & OBJ teaming up)
3. Redskins (Might've been a fluke for Cousins)
4. Eagles (?????)

NFC West
1. Cardinals (Either them or Seattle, they look more ready for the Super Bowl though)
2. Seahawks (Still a big team, but Arizona has passed them)
3. Rams (You can take the Rams out of STL, but you can't take the STL out of the Rams (AKA, they suck))
4. 49ers (Dumpster fire)

AFC North
1. Steelers (Despite the suspensions, they're the most complete team if healthy in the AFC)
2. Bengals (Will they ever win a playoff game?)
3. Ravens (Year away)
4. Browns (...)

AFC South
1. Jaguars (This is their year! The Jags will make their first playoff appearance since 2007)
2. Texans (Super Bowl Home Team Curse, no offense)
3. Colts (Luck and everyone else)
4. Titans (Still rebulding

AFC East
1. Patriots (No Brady for 4 games, but they always find a way )
2. Bills (I just want to see them be successful, so they can get a playoff spot)
3. Jets (Very unpredictable)
4. Dolphins (Lost at sea)

AFC West
1. Raiders (YES! The upstart Raiders finally get in. They're ready)
2. Chiefs (More complete then Denver)
3. Broncos (Lost Peyton, but still have monster D, don't know how effective the offense will be)
4. Chargers (Everyone rebuilt well except them so better luck next year)

Playoffs

(3) Raiders beat (6) Bills
(4) Jaguars beat (5) Bengals

(1) Steelers beat (4) Jaguars
(2) Patriots beat (3) Raiders (Tuck Rule anyone)

(1) Steelers beat (2) Patriots

(3) Cardinals beat (6) Seahawks
(5) Vikings beat (4) Cowboys

(1) Packers beat (5) Vikings
(3) Cardinals beat (2) Panthers

(1) Packers beat (3) Cardinals

(1) Packers beat (1) Steelers (sorry PP319)

I'm honestly not sure how we'll do. Big Ben's getting old and we need to find someone that can replace him. I really think the Bengals might actually break through this tyear. I think they'll be the second best team in the AFC behind the Patriots. Even with Brady out for 4 games, I think they'll win 2 of those 4 because they're the Pats.

If the Bengals can't break through this year, then I'll officially lose all hope for them ever winning in the playoffs until they actually do it. They should've beat us last year, but I feel that we got bailed out by the refs and I did feel legit bad for Cincy because they outplayed us.

It's the Patriots luck that 3 out of 4 games Brady is out is at home.

Week 1: @ Cardinals
Week 2: Dolphins
Week 3: Texans
Week 4: Bills

2-2 sounds likely, maybe 3-1. They'll win against Miami & Buffalo, Houston a maybe, and Arizona is a loss.

Yeah, I don't see them beating the Cardinals. The other three are definitely possible. I think they'll drop a game to either Miami or Buffalo because division rival. Not sure about the Texans now that they have Brock Osweiller. I say the Pats win that one.

I can't wait until the NFL season! The off-season is always so long. Luckily August will be here tomorrow and as boring as preseason is, it's something to look forward too. Here are my early season predictions with records included:

AFC East
Patriots 11-5 (They will probably start 2-2 with losses to Miami and Arizona. And then Brady will take control and lead them to the playoffs)
Dolphins 9-7 (They always seem to fall short of the playoffs. I think they have some nice talent)
Bills 7-9 (Not convinced with Tyrod Taylor and they have a tough schedule)
Jets 5-11 (Fitzpatrick is a scrub QB. They are basically the new Bills)

AFC North
Steelers 12-4 (With a healthy offense, they are the best offense in NFL)
Ravens 10-6 (Homer pick)
Bengals 9-7 (Their window of success is closing. And they still haven't won a playoff game since 1990)
Browns 4-12 (LOL)

AFC South
Colts 9-7 (Only because this division sucks)
Jaguars 7-9 (I like the direction they are heading, but still not convinced they are playoff material yet)
Texans 7-9 (JJ Watt will be out with back surgery and they only made it to the playoffs because Colts lost Andrew Luck and their schedule was piss easy)
Titans 5-11 (They suck)

AFC West
Chiefs 11-5 (They have good talent on both sides of the ball and Reid has been a pretty good coach for them.)
Raiders 10-6 (This will finally be the year since 2002 that the Raiders make the playoffs!)
Broncos 8-8 (They might win more games with that defense, but Osweiler won't carry them far like Manning. And their schedule is tough)
Chargers 3-13 (I hate to do this, but they don't look impressive at ALL)

NFC East
Eagles 10-6 (I don't know what to think about this division. All of the teams are mediocre and could win. I like the Eagles more)
Cowboys 8-8 (They do have talent, but they are totally unproved)
Giants 7-9 (Sounds about right for them)
Redskins 5-11 (Not impressed with them at all. Only made the playoffs last year because of a piss easy division)

NFC North
Vikings 13-3 (I like the young talent on their team and this division race is going to be tough)
Packers 10-6 (I do think they might lose a couple of extra games, but they do have an easy schedule outside of their division. Depends how well they do against their division rivals)
Lions 6-10 (They have are the Lions. :P)
Bears 6-10 (Tough division and the talent level is not nearly as good)

NFC South
Panthers 13-3 (Solid defense and I think Cam will step it up a little bit this year)
Buccaneers 11-5 (This is my dark horse pick for the playoffs!)
Falcons 8-8 (They will be unproved)
Saints 6-10 (Tough schedule, tough division, and a loss of talent and old players will hurt them)

NFC West
Cardinals 12-4 (They are playing in a tough conference and division. Their window is closing too, so they better capitalize on their success.)
Seahawks 11-5 (They will continue to dominate)
Rams 7-9 (That's what they always seem to do. :P)
49ers 2-14 (Good God they look awful)

Playoff Standings:
(1) Steelers
(2) Patriots
(3) Chiefs
(4) Colts
(5) Ravens
(6) Raiders

(1) Panthers
(2) Vikings
(3) Cardinals
(4) Eagles
(5) Seahawks
(6) Buccaneers

AFC

Steelers > Raiders
Ravens > Patriots

CHAMPIONSHIP

NFC

Big Ben out for 4-6 weeks after suffering an injury against Miami. It's hard to say we're doomed considering how poorly the rest of the division is playing right now (sorry TRJ, the Ravens are sliding fast), but we can't overlook the fact that Cincy can get hot at any moment. I honestly think 9-7 could win this division.

I can't believe the Packers went from 4-6 to being one game away from making the Super Bowl. I bet GM1 is thrilled right now. Hopefully my Steelers can get the job done too.

I'm not a huge fan of Football, but my dad is and his favorite team is Dallas Cowboys.

Back in the 90s my favorite players were Troy Aikman (Cowboys), John Elway (Broncos) and Dan Marino (Dolphins).

Don't forget the Steelers were 4-5 at one time and won their last 7 games. And they played a pretty tough schedule too during that 7 game stretch. ;)

I'm kind of disappointed with the AFC final two. I HATE New England with a passion and literally would've liked to have seen any other team here. As much as I hate the Steelers, I'm going to root for them in this game. And I think their offense is pretty exciting to watch, excluding their all FG game against the Chiefs.

I don't mind the NFC selections here. I don't mind either teams. Out of the two, I want to see Atlanta go to the Super Bowl. They have a high flying offense this year and Matt Ryan deserves a Super Bowl ring!

Too bad the Raiders lost Carr before the playoffs. They easily would've gotten far if he didn't go down. At least they have a bright future!

I'm hoping for a Steelers vs. Falcons Super Bowl. ;)

I'd love a Steelers vs. Packers rematch from a few years ago. That would probably provide the most exciting matchup if you ask me. Though I wouldn't object a match with the Falcons, especially with that offense. Anyone but the Patriots.

Hopefully my Steelers can get the job done too.

I hope so, too. I can't stand the Patriots.

F*** off Patriots. I hate the Steelers at the pit of my stomach, but I would take them ANY DAY over a Tom Brady team. Even if Tom Brady played for the Browns, I would still vote against him. Seriously, all I heard during the Steelers-Patriots game was the constant sucking off to Tom Brady and the Patriots. I like Peyton Manning way more than Tom Brady and the Patriots. -_-

I'm glad that the Falcons won though. I'm totally supporting them in the playoffs, no questions asked.  I definitely think they would be the team to take New England down. Of course, the Patriots will get lucky somehow and win on some crap event like they did with all their other SB wins.  EVERYTHING goes their way it seems.

Those were some of the most disappointing conference championship games I've ever seen. Go Atlanta, I guess. Definitely rooting for them now.

Meanwhile in Houston:

Tom Brady was reportedly seen going into the grinder at Mondo Burger.

And the Patriots' black magic strikes again. Fully convinced Bob Kraft sold his soul to the devil circa 2001. Luckiest team in the history of professional sports. Only won their last two titles because the other team didn't run the ball when they should have. Every single person associated with them has to have a giant horseshoe shoved up their ass.

NOW WILL YOU PLEASE FUCKING RETIRE ALREADY, BRADY?!?!  :x :x :x :x :x

Also, the NFL's overtime rules freaking suck. Totally unfair that the Falcons didn't even get a chance to tie, and the Patriots essentially won on a coin toss. The NFL needs to change to NCAA OT rules, IMO.
