Legends Temple Run Elimination Thread - Season One - Worst Runs

As we await the results for season two, let's delve into season one.

RULES:
- You can eliminate a temple run twice a day. Please try to keep your vote far apart and don't do them too close too each other (like voting an hour after your first vote.)
- Once a temple run is eliminated from the list, you cannot bring it back and it will be gone for good.
- Once we get to 15 runs remaining, we will start ranking them. The final 15 runs will be used later for a compilation of best runs of each season.
- Once we get to the last two runs, then we will vote on which one wins this thread.
- Have fun!

I am going to take out "Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress" as my first vote. I don't care if this is a season one run, this team did an amazing job. Candace moved quite well for her short time in the temple and David was one of the best boys on the show. Things were looking bad for this run when David grabbed the Headdress with 28 seconds left, but he hauled ass out of the temple to score, IMO, one of the best temple exits on the show.

Oh well. I'm taking out my fav episode, John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine. Was a great run with a somewhat comical finish. X3

BTW, your first post TRJ says we're delving into season 'three'. And that we're talking about the 'best' runs. You might wanna fix those. :P

As for who I think the final two will be, I know for sure who will be there, but the other run could be like one of two or three. This could be interesting.

I'm eliminating The Star of Sultan Saladin. This is my second favorite win of season 1 (right behind Lawrence of Arabia of course). Leah might not have been the fastest player, but she was definitely one of the smartest. Great solo effort (first one ever too, when it comes to wins).

I don't know what planet you came from, but The Moccasins of Geronimo is definitely NOT a great win. It might have been great watching it the first time, but after watching it again and comparing it with other wins, it's just another sore thumb like Robin Hood and Marian's Ladder. :roll:

Time for another solid loss to go. This time, it's The Pendant of Kamehameha. Robbie was super fast and knew what he was doing. Tina wasn't quite as fast, but she was no slouch either. Both players were solid, but they ultimately brought this loss on themselves. Robbie tried the direct path and Tina entered the wrong entrance room. Thankfully there was no guard in the Room of the Three Gargoyles and we got to see Tina's potential (unlike Ryann, ugh). In the end, they entered 11 rooms before the artifact. For any season, that's remarkable and because of this, it deserves to be gone from this game early. Great loss that never gets old.

I am surprised "Moccasins of Geronimo" went early also. But then again, it didn't belong in the bottom 15 in the first place, so no lost there. There is one win though that I hope makes it to the bottom 15.  :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll: :roll:

I am honestly surprised "Galileo's Cannonball" was still around. That was a very exciting win and was the first ever win on the show. Jennifer was kind of slow and clueless, but she made it pretty far. Jammin John was solid in the temple and even had an exciting finish when he dropped the Cannonball and brought it back to the gate with one second left! A very solid win.

Yeah, I'm surprised Geronimo left the list so soon. While it doesn't deserve to be in the bottom 15, the run wasn't that remarkable.

Anyways, next to go is "Henry VIII's Great Seal." This was a good run, despite the players taking a direct path to the artifact. Plus, it's memorable for the temple guard encounters. Especially the one that scared poor Nick out of the temple. :lol:

Next to go is The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary. This is one of my favorite losses. Both players were fast and they both knew what they were doing for the most part. The biggest thing that cost them the win was Tara's exit plan. However, it would've been very close had she taken the bridge. Still, this was a great run.

Funny, I was going to eliminate that one next.  :mrsilver: I agree though, Danny and Tara were a solid team and both moved fast with a lengthy layout. Even if Tara stood at the top, it still might've not been a win. But still exciting though.

I always thought "The Helmet of Genghis Khan" was an overlooked win. Sure, the layout was kind of easy. But both contestants moved fine and brought the Helmet out after traveling through six rooms. Becca laid out a path all the way to the Shrine before being taken out one room away. Taylor followed her path, assembled the monkey, and brought the Helmet out with around 10 seconds on the clock. I like the ending too when they can't stay in the camera's framee.  :mrred:

Well not everyone is gonna think the very same way you do. Some victories we like, and some we don't.

Anyways, "The Golden Jaguar of Atahualpa" goes next. Despite all of the teams mistakes (running behind Olmec, detouring to the Heart Room), it was still a good run. Plus, at least they made it to the artifact at the last second.
