I wen ahead and did rankings for the "Frederick Douglass" production day. I only liked "The Mystical Spellbook of the Imperial Wizard" as an episode as a whole. The rest of the episodes were sucky or forgettable.

THE SMASHED PRINTING PLATE OF FREDERICK DOUGLASS

Jason
Moat: 5.5
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 1
Temple Run: 4
Overall: 5.1

Dana
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 6.5
Team Game: 7.5
Temple Run: 2
Overall: 6.0

Sharon
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 5
Overall: 5.75

Gary
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 10
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 6
Overall: 7.0

NOTES:
This episode was... okay. Each team shined in a certain round of the show. For the Purple Parrots, it was the Steps of Knowlege. For the Red Jaguars, it was the temple games.

The Purple Parrot boy (Gary) was amazing in the Steps! He got the first three answers correct without Olmec revealing all the choices.

The Red Jaguars dominated the temple games. Jason made his tmeple game look easy by only falling off the horse once and making several basket tosses, while the Purple Parrot boy kept getting knocked off. The female temple game was close up until the Purple Parrot girl missed the basket with her last bottle of ink. Had she not done this, then she could've tied with Dana.

For the team game, Jason most definitely cheated in it. In this game, the teams were suppose to cross the poles one boy one. But on two occasions, Jason tried jumping to another pole when he was not suppose to. He looked like an idiot also on choosing the wrong pole. But Dana did win the temple game fair and square, so I won't count this as a tainted win.

And the temple run is just so unbearable to watch. Jason was a moron in the temple. He looked confused on several occasions and kept backtracking between the Ancient Warriors and Chamber. Dana, while not having enough time in the temple, showed us she was useless also. I mean she used the wrong door in the Pit! You sweep the temple games and you put on a half-assed performance?

At the end of the day, none of the players really stood out and the Red Jaguars blew their load in the temple run.

THE MYSTICAL SPELLBOOK OF THE IMPERIAL WIZARD

Jared
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 5.5
Overall: 7.1

Katie
Moat: 6.5
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 6.5
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 8
Overall: 7.4

Larissa
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 7.5
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 4.5
Overall: 6.25

Mike
Moat: 5
Steps of Knowledge: 9
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.5

NOTES:
First off, "Wing Ding" and "Ring Ling"?

This episode was better than I remembered. In the moat, the Silver Snake girl got across first while the Silver Snake boy was the last one to ring in because he kept dangling on the rope.

Nothing much to say about the temple games, except we have another temple game sweep. Jared got screwed in his temple game, where he had to stand around for ten seconds because he knocked down one of the ingredients before one of the spotters said he could grab it. The Silver Snake girl was taking her plain old time in this game.

Neither Jared or Katie were bad players in the temple run. It was a combination of a tough layout and wasted time in the Dark Forest that caused this team to lose. Jared kind of hesitated at the beginning, but he picked it up once he got out of the Pit. Too bad he got lost in the Dark Forest - that is where this run went wrong. Katie ran her ass off to get to where Jared was left off, but it wasn't good enough as her partner didn't leave her with enough time.

THE USELESS MAP OF THE CHIBCHA CHIEFTAIN

Hallie
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 6.5
Team Game: N/A
Temple Run: 6
Overall: 6.38

Jared
Moat: 7.5
Steps of Knowledge: 8.5
Individual Game: 9
Team Game: 6
Tiebreaker: +1
Temple Run: 7
Overall: 7.8

Erin
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: N/A
Overall: 6.67

Antonio
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 6.5
Team Game: 8
Overall: 7.38

NOTES:
Nothing really much to say about this episode, the numbers could do the talking. Its disappointing though that the temple run ended in triple capture, It would've helped if the Orange Iguanas won their final temple game, and then they would've had two pendants. Both Hallie and Jared moved well in the temple despite being forced up the central shaft. They should've reached the Map if they weren't captured by all three temple guards.

It was really hard to evaluate the team game, since the Silver Snake boy made it across on his first guess while Jared lost about halfway through the Bamboo Forest. So I didn't evaluate Hallie or Erin for this game.

THE GOLDEN SPIDER WEB OF ROBERT THE BRUCE

Christine
Moat: 5.5
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 6.5
Team Game: 7.5
Temple Run: 5
Overall: 6.3

Jeremy
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 3
Team Game: 7.5
Temple Run: 4
Overall: 5.7

Caroline
Moat: 7.5
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 5.5
Overall: 6.25

Justin
Moat: 6.5
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.63

NOTES:
Wow, this episode was very boring and neither team was really that great. None of the contestants were able to reach a score of 7, which was really pathetic for season 3.

For Jeremy's temple game, I had to deduct more points than usual for that that short cut even if it was an honest mistake. But overall, this episode is boring and average and I literally almost fell asleep while watching it.

Oh god, it hurts to sit through this production day. Since most of them episodes were either average or just plain bad. But, here are my thoughts:

Man, I hate the Smashed Printing Plate episode so much. It's literally one of the worst episodes in the history of the show and there's a reason I've only seen the full episode once. The Parrots OWNED IT during the steps, only to get destroyed in the temple games. And Jason totally cheated in the team game! Not only there too, but I believe he cheated in his individual game too. Jason kept making basket tosses while the Purple Parrot boy fell off the horse. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't you supposed to wait until the opponent gets back on the horse to start making tosses again? Dana won her temple game fair and square, but only because the Purple Parrot girl threw her jar of ink too far. And we just discussed the third temple game, but at least Dana didn't cheat. And don't even get me started on the temple run. Terrible performance by both players. Jason was slow and clueless, and Dana is far and away the most obnoxious contestant ever.  And after running her mouth all run, Dana couldn't even get out of the Pit in the 30 seconds she had. Pathetic. I agree with your sentiment on how could this team sweeps the temple games, only to give a lousy temple performance. This team did not deserve to go to the temple. Should've been the Purple Parrots.

I actually like the Mystikal Spellbook episode. The Green Monkeys were a very strong team all day, while the Silver Snakes were just plain average. As far as the temple run goes, Katie should have gone first. She had a MUCH better job what to do in the minute she had than Jared did all run. But, it was a hard layout, so I don't think they would have won either way.

The Useless Map was an average episode. The Orange Iguanas were a very dominant team until the third temple game. The biggest downfall was Jared tripping in his third temple game. So he basically cost the Iguanas the full pendant. Such a shame their run ended in triple capture. What rotten luck they had. Though Hallie should have gone up into the King's Storeroom instead of going into the Tomb. Had the run not ended in triple capture, they would have grabbed the Map, maybe even brought it out too.

And finally Golden Spider Web. I've only seen the full episode once or twice, but all I remember about it is that it's a snore of an episode. And of course we got Jeremy's cheating in his temple game. Which I still say it was an honest mistake. But either way, he wasn't that great of a player and his low temple game score is still deserved. Even if the team had the full pendant, no way would they make it past the Jesters' Court with the layout they had.

Great rankings like always. Which production day are you gonna do next?

I wasn't really paying attention to the rules of Jason's temple game, so I might have to go back and watch it. But I wouldn't put it past him for trying to cheat in his individual game. Although the Purple Parrot boy did suck and kept falling off the horse every five seconds. Dana's game would've ended in a tie if it wasn't for the Purple Parrot girl, and the team game was only won on Dana's part. Jason was an idiot for cheating twice and always trying the wrong pole.

And oh God, that temple run has pissed me off from day one. Jason wasted too much time in the temple and he didn't have an ounce of a clue on what he was doing. Not only that, he kept backtracking between the Chamber and Ancient Warriors. And while Dana did not have enough time, she could've made it past the Pit at least. Look at Katie in the next episode - she had only 40 seconds left but she made it one room away from the artifact! No excuse for this temple run to end so poorly.

I liked that episode too and wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. And I don't think this team would've really won in the temple run either, but rewatching this run reminded me how Katie had to haul ass in order to reach where her partner was taken out. It didn't help though that this team encountered a temple guard one room away from the artifact, especially when it comes to season three and they had to complete all those objectives. They would've had to encounter all the temple guards in order to win.

Yeah, Hallie should've gone up to the King's Storeroom for sure. I bet the Ledges would've opened also had she tried it instead. But both players were good in the temple despite the bad outcome. That is why I don't give this team a hard time compared to other triple captures in where it could've been avoided in the first place.

That layout was awful also, but neither player was fast to begin with so it wouldn't have matter if he found the half-pendant or not. Although it would've helped if Christine tried all three books in the Crypt and move a little faster.

And I don't think Jeremy was intentionally trying to cheat either. He probably didn't know any better about that little space between the net and platform. At least the spotters and Kirk corrected him the second they saw him do it, so its not like the Silver Snake boy got screwed out of a half-pendant like in other episodes.

I am thinking of doing the first production day of S2L2. Some of those episodes kind of sucked, but I am interested in ranking the "Dr. Livingstone" team.  :mrblue:

Its been a while since we had rankings, but I went ahead and did the middle set of episodes from S2L2:

THE MUSH POT HAT OF JOHNNY APPLESEED

Chris
Moat: 9
Steps of Knowledge: 9
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Temple Run: 7
Overall: 7.6

Angela
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 4
Temple Run: 6
Overall: 6.6

Andrea
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 5.5
Overall: 6.63

Jamal
Moat: 8
Steps of Knowledge: 7.5
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.88

NOTES:
This episode was pretty decent and most of the rounds were very close also. There is not much to really comment on.

During the Steps, we had a three way tie in the second to last step. We also had a rare moment where three answers were allowed for one question.

The temple games were VERY close and it almost ended in a 2-2 pendant tie. Even though the second temple game ended in a tie, I gave the Green Monkeys boy a lower score on account that he was very sloppy.

The team game was very sloppy though and Angela kept failing to grab an apple and dropping them in the bin. I don't think she even got one apple into the container. Although the Green Monkeys were sloppy too in this game and kept missing easy shots.

The temple run was decent which resulted in a close loss. Although Angela could've picked the pace up a little bit in the Wall Climb. Although forcing them to take the elevator did not help them out much at all. It was still a good run and perhaps could've been a solo if Chris started in the Ledges.

THE CRACKED CROWN OF THE SPANISH KING

Josh
Moat: 5.5
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 6
Overall: 6.7

Kerry
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 8
Team Game: 6.5
Temple Run: 3
Overall: 6.1

Winter
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 2
Team Game: 1
Overall: 4.0

Marshall
Moat: 4
Steps of Knowledge: 10
Individual Game: 7.5
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.88

NOTES:
I hate this episode so much. In the previous episode, the teams did not have as much trouble in the moat as they did in they did in this one.

In the moat, both of the girls got across on their first try, albeit being a little slow in crossing. The boys kind of sucked though and the Green Monkey boy fell in a couple of times.

The temple games sucked though. Winter looked pathetic in her temple game where she lost in 12 seconds, and she did not know how to aim in her team game.

The Orange Iguanas though were better than I thought in the temple games and they deserved to go to the temple.

But the temple run sucks major ass. Josh was not that bad, but he wasn't great either. He wasted time trying the direct path and he got taken out quick. Kerry sucked major ass though and she is so damn slow slow! How she even made it to the Shrine is beyond me.

Just a pathetic episode.

THE IMPERIAL PURPLE ROBE OF EMPRESS THEODORA

Ashley
Moat: 4
Steps of Knowledge: 6
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 7.5
Temple Run: 5.5
Overall: 6.0

Joshua
Moat: 3
Steps of Knowledge: 9
Individual Game: 6.5
Team Game: 7.5
Temple Run: 6.5
Overall: 6.5

Laura
Moat: 6
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.5

Steven
Moat: 5
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 6
Overall: 6.5

NOTES:
Hey look, its Jim and Kristen! I still wonder why they were allowed to come back later on in the season when they made it across the moat. But they kicked ass at the moat, it was a shame they didn't make it onto the temple games or even the temple

But the Green Monkeys were terrible at the moat. They were so bad that you never see Joshua cross it because they had to edit it. Orange and Green also finished third and fourth in this moat.

In the temple games, we had another close and potential 2-2 tie. Both teams were on par with each other, so they were competitive for the first two games. The Orange Iguanas had bad luck in the team game though, but everyone was making good shots. The Green Monkeys ultimately won 2-1.

The temple run was decent, but it was the slowness on both players parts that caused this team to lose. Ashley just trotted along the bottom floor and really could've picked up her speed. Joshua followed up nicely, but he could've grabbed the robe if he let the elevator descent a little further.

Overall, a good episode even if the ending was disappointing.

THE STONE HEAD OF THE EVIL KING

Heather
Moat: 5
Steps of Knowledge: 8.5
Individual Game: 8.5
Team Game: 8
Temple Run: 5.5
Overall: 7.1

Tony
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 8
Individual Game: 7
Team Game: 7
Temple Run: 3.5
Overall: 6.5

Kristin
Moat: 7.5
Steps of Knowledge: 7
Individual Game: 6
Team Game: 5
Overall: 6.38

Chris
Moat: 7
Steps of Knowledge: 9
Individual Game: 5
Team Game: 7
Overall: 7.0

NOTES:
Finally, an episode with no Green-Orange matchup.

The Silver Snakes looked great in the moat, especially the Silver Snake girl. Heather struggled a lot though and fell in a few times, but she still made it across. Tony fell in once, but he moved fast and made it across for the team to score second. Luckily I didn't have to sit through the rest of that moat.

Poor Heather, she just couldn't get her gong to press down during the Steps.

The temple games were a Blue Barracuda sweep, and the Silver Snakes didn't really stand a chance against Heather and Tony. Although Tony's temple game look like it should've ended in a tie. Not that it mattered, because the Silver Snakes were no match for the Blue Barracudas.

And the temple run is so disappointing. Heather was okay in the temple, but she moved kind of slow and didn't last long. Tony is a failure though for wasting all that time in Medusa's Lair and for smashing the pots like a moron in the King's Storeroom.

What a disappointing outcome for a team that was pretty dominant in the earlier rounds of the episode. The temple run is what really brought both player's scores down.

Ah, the infamous "Shaking log" production day. Where the moats have terrible editing and missing fog due to the long moats. Anyways, my thoughts are as follows:

Mush Pot Hat was a pretty good episode. The Green Monkeys and the Orange Iguanas were just about on par with each other. Not much to say about this episode other than it could have been a solo victory had Chris started in the Ledges. Or if Angela had picked up the pace a bit in the Pit. Not the Wall Climb like you said. *cough* ;)

I hate the Cracked Crown episode. It all started with the REALLY long moat. This had to have been the "45 minute moat" for sure. Looks how long it takes to even get the THIRD TEAM across. The moat fog is completely gone not long after the second team (which I think was the Orange Iguanas) got across. The steps were nothing special, the temple games were pretty painful to watch too. Winter, (the female Green Monkey) was utterly pathetic in her temple game. She fell off the horse literally in seconds. That's the only reason Kerry even won her game. I don't remember the team game performance, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Green Monkeys sucked there too. And the temple run was just awful. Josh should've gone in second. Not Miss "I'm gonna walk through every room and take a wrong turn at the end of the run" Kerry. I don't watch this full episode very much. And now you know why. Plus, this was one of the overplayed ones on Nick Gas. :|

Impress Theodora was an average episode. Having just seen this one not long ago, this moat was also pretty heavily edited. I agree about the Green Monkeys sucking at this moat. I mean, weren't they the 4th team to finish, and the mist was just starting to disappear then? The steps were an average round, see notes below for my thoughts on it. The temple games were a pretty close match, and yes the Green Monkeys and the Orange Iguanas are best friends on this filming day. Only this time, the Green Monkeys go to the temple. Could have been a 2 pendant tie if it wasn't for the Orange Iguanas sucking at the third temple game. Neither player could even knock a soldier down before time was up. So I think your scores on them were a little too generous. But, that's just me. The temple run was alright, both players were kind of slow. Too bad the elevator kept stalling at the last second. If it weren't for that, could have been a last second grab. But, this close loss wasn't as exciting as the "Blue Pearl" episode.

And finally, Stone Head. This was a pretty disappointing episode. The intro is heavily edited because of yet another long moat crossing. Though this moat wasn't nearly as bad as "Cracked Crown's" moat. Since the fog didn't start disappearing until after the third team had crossed. The Blue Barracudas owned it in the temple games, the Silver Snakes were most certainly no match for them. Still a good competition despite the sweep. The temple run sucked. Heather was slow and got lost so easily and what little time she was in the temple for. Tony was pathetic. While 4 snakes in Medusa's head is a bit much, he spent over a minute figuring it out. And don't get me started on how poorly he smashed those pots. After time was called, you can tell Heather looked SO PISSED that they lost. And Tony looked equally as pissed as well.

Other notes I have:
* The Mush Pot Hat moat is the only episode where the players don't struggle immensely at the moat. That's seriously the shortest moat to feature "the shaky log." Correct me if I'm wrong though.
* And yes, we see the Silver Snakes from the "Priceless Portrait" episode here. But instead of losing the moat, they lost at the steps, after not getting any questions right. I wonder how they were still let on the show, since these guys didn't actually lose at the moat? Oh well, I'm glad they were given a second chance, since they did great in "Priceless Portrait."
* And basically, Mush Pot Hat was the best episode on this filming day. The rest were okay to bad.

Like always, great rankings. :D If I start rankings, I'll probably do the first S2L2 filming day. Since I've seen all the episodes from that day recently, so I thought you and I might compare rankings. Up to you of course.

Yeah, that had to be the most painful moat I ever watched.  Except for "The Mush Pot Hat of Johnny Appleseed", the other three moats were extraordinarily long.

Whoops, I forgot the lame Wall Climb is from the early season one episodes.  :mrred: Either way, she did waste about 15 seconds there trying to climb it. Although even if she did climb faster, it would've been an "Emiliano Zapata" type of win. Stupid Mine Shaft elevator.

There was a 45 minute long moat? If I were the production team, I would've just called mercy and gave up. That is way too much time to fit in one round.  :o

Oh God, I remember Nick GAS pairing this with "Robert the Bruce" all of the time. I hated this episode since day one, but I hated it more after they kept showing it. And I agree with you about Kerry's temple game. I think since the game never lasted long, we never get to see if Kerry was truly good or bad. So it does inflate her score a lot bit. And the temple run was pathetic either way. Even if Josh went in second, Kerry probably would've wasted too much time by then for them to score. How can anyone be so slow? Not even Kristen from "Amelia Earhart" was that slow.

Both the Orange and Green finished third and fourth respectively. But it was Joshua who sucked more in the moat than Ashley. But yeah, that was the most painful crossing to watch. I need to go back and watch the team game again, but didn't they knock 3 soldiers down for the Green Monkeys? I know Ashley and Josh at least knocked down one a piece.

As for the run, I will take "Dragon Lady" any day over this run. It was still a good attempt though. I don't think the elevator stalled, rather Joshua didn't press down all the way on it. Either way, it was their own fault they failed to reach it since they both should've moved faster.

I hate when teams sweep the temple games and put on a crappy temple run performance. This is not the first time it happened, but this is the first run that comes to mind. Seriously, Whitney had to put four snakes in Medusa's head also, but it took her half the time Tony spent in that room. And its not because it was the alignment of the snakes, it was because he kept getting frustrated and jabbing the snakes into the head. Had he slowed down a little bit, he could've had spent less time. Not that it mattered, because Heather was slow herself and she only covered four rooms in about a minute.

Kristen and Jim were a beast in the "Empress Theodora" moat. It would've been better to see them at the temple instead of the Green Monkeys. But then again, their "Polynesian Girl" appearance was more exciting so I am glad they came back and went to the temple in that episode.  :mrsilver:

And if I would've ranked the episodes for this day, it would be:

"Johnny Appleseed"
"Empress Theodora"
"Evil King"
"Spanish King"

Like always, great rankings. :D If I start rankings, I'll probably do the first S2L2 filming day. Since I've seen all the episodes from that day recently, so I thought you and I might compare rankings. Up to you of course.

So that means you are going to do the "Dr. Livingstone" production day? That should be much better than the one I just did. Although I am not really a fan "The Lost Love Letter of Captain John Smith" or "The Walking Stick of Harriet Tubman".

Yeah, there was a 45 minute moat according to that Kirk Fogg radio interview. And he said it was the "shaky log" moat. I always thought it was the "Cracked Crown" moat, since the fog disappeared so early. And yeah, I would have given up and let the 4th/furthest along team slide if I were a spotter. It may not be the most fair thing to do, but still.... 45 minutes?!?! In a way though, I don't really blame the kids for struggling that much in the moat. That looked like a pretty hard moat to cross. If I had to endure a moat like that, I probably wouldn't make it across either. Also, I think Blue Pearl was paired up with Cracked Crown during the Nick Gas days. I believe Golden Spider Web was always paired up with the Battle Flag episode. But, all those episodes were the ones played constantly, so I can understand your confusion.

And yeah, I remember Jim and Kristen doing great in that moat. But had they made it to the temple in the Imperial Robe episode, we wouldn't have seen them in action in the Priceless Portrait run. Also, your rankings of the four above episodes is probably the same way I'd rank them too.

As far as rankings go, yeah I meant the "Bone Necklace" and "Dr. Livingstone" filming day. I still might hold off on it though. Are those the rankings you're gonna do next?

I always thought the 45 minute moat was Stone Head's since part of the intro was cut out.

I actually wanted to do one of the season one layouts next just to see how my rankings compare to THK. I might wanna do S1L3 or S1L7 next since those were the better episodes of season one.

But wow, 45 minutes for a moat is ridiculous. And on top of that, they filmed all the moats together at once according to the player interviews. So that must've meant they spent a long time on the moats that day. Whether it was "The Stone Head of the Evil King" or "The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King", all those moats were long and I could see them taking 2+ hours that day. Must've sucked for the audience.

I always thought the 45 minute moat was Stone Head's since part of the intro was cut out.
But in that one, the fog didn't disappear nearly as soon as Cracked Crown's did. The fog in Stone Head's moat only disappeared after the 3rd team gonged in. I'm sure that moat did indeed take a while though. As far as the cut intro goes, it was probably just some bad editing.

Either way, what a horrible day for moat crossings. That's like, all the moats put together taking 1-2 hours total. I would have hated to be an audience member that day.

Since it has been a while since we last saw someone rank something in this topic, I'm going to go the extra mile and rank all of the Purple Parrot teams that made it to the temple! :mrpurple:

I'll rank each Purple Parrot player in all of the rounds to determine which player was the best and which team was the best. Same goes for the worst player and team. Gotta determine which team and player represented the PPs the best and which PP player and team was the biggest disgrace to the team and all PP fans everywhere.

I'll start off with season 1 and work my way up. I won't rank all 11 PP temple appearances tonight though. I'll probably stop somewhere in the middle of season 2.

The Oracle Bowl of Delphi

Shane
Moat: 9
SoK: 8.5
Individual Temple Game: 9.5
Team Temple Game: 7
Temple Run: 8.5
Average: 8.5

Jackie
Moat: 9
SoK: N/A
Individual Temple Game: 7
Team Temple Game: 6.5
Temple Run: 3.5
Average: 6.5 (wait, there's no way this can be right :o )

Overall Team Average: 7.5

That team average is saying a lot considering Jackie's piss-poor temple performance.

Really, this Purple Parrot team wasn't that bad. It was the temple run where things went wrong. I had to dock points from Shane for trying the direct path. It bit him in the ass hard. Jackie just wasn't that good in the temple. She was fairly good in all the other rounds (I excluded the Steps because just like Shane from Very Tall Turban, she didn't even try, so I can't judge her there). Overall, not a bad Purple Parrot team.

King Tut’s Cobra Staff

Eusinia
Moat: 8
SoK: 7.5
Ind. Temple Game: 9
Team Temple Game: 9
Temple Run: 6
Average: 7.9

David
Moat: N/A
SoK: 7.5
Ind. Temple Game: 3.5
Team Temple Game: 9
Temple Run: 7
Average: 6.75

Overall Team Average: 7.325

Wow, the Oracle Bowl team actually beat this PP team. That's because of David's individual temple game. David should not have lost that game. He didn't look good in it, so he got a low score for that game. Not to mention, he lost to a girl in this one. Also, Eusinia beat the Blue Barracuda boy in her temple game! Talk about impressive.

The temple run was fairly good as far as losses go. Eusinia was fast, but not so wise. However, because of her speed and progress made in a short span, I gave her a 6. David gets a 7 for at least showing more common sense than Eusinia and getting to the Cobra Staff. Good effort by this PP team.

I sort of disagree with adding/deducting point based on "physical strength." I mean, sure Eusinia was great in her game and David wasn't, I really don't think that's fair at all. The Parrots did great in the team game, though 10 is a little to generous to me. And why didn't David get ranked in the moat? I've seen this one recently, but maybe I missed something or the moat was just heavily edited? For the temple run, I'd give Eusinia a 6. While she moved fast, she wasn't that bright. I'd give David a 7, since he was literally the opposite of his partner. Oh well, at least they reached the artifact at the last second.

As far as Shane and Jackie's ratings go, Shane's are right on the money. He was easily the strongest player on the team. Jackie.... well, she did an okay job pre temple rounds. She definitely sucked at the temple though. And what a coincidence that I've just recently seen this episode too. Also, isn't it funny that there was a Shane and a Jamie (the female Silver Snake) in the same episode? While fast forward to Season 2, you get Shane and Jamie from the Tall Turban episode.

Overall, it will be interesting to see how all the other Parrot teams rank. It's gonna be a pretty easy job for you, considering how few times the Parrots even make it to the temple. XD

I didn't give David a ranking in the moat because all he had to do was sit in a floating ring while Eusinia pulled him across. No skill needed for that. Even John, Tia, and Kim can sit in a ring with no problem. That's why there's an N/A for David in that one.

I guess I'll be more lenient with the temple games in the Cobra Staff episode. I knew I'd get criticized for that. No +/- bull crap from now on for me.

Edit: Before I forget, I gave David and Eusinia both a 10 in the team temple game because they deserved and earned it. They owned that game! They get credit for that one. Very well coordinated and speedy at the same time. They made the Blue Barracudas in that game look like a joke. They're keeping the 10.
