Coming in 21st is The Lost Love Letter of Captain John Smith.  Derrick was pretty fast and didn't waste any time.  Whitney, on the other hand, was pretty slow, but at least she knew what she was doing.  Also, looking back, I don't really blame her for missing the half-pendant.  It's not like your first instinct should be to look at the actuators that no longer do anything.

Just making the top 20 (and I'll probably get criticized for this one) is The Smashed Printing Plate of Frederick Douglass.

Jason started off just fine in the first minute. Then it just went downhill from there. He ignored the first suit of armor and went into the Chamber again. After completing the monkey (he did pretty good with this to be honest with you), he then ignored the Dark Forest opening from that room. Then, from the Bog, he tried going into the Shrine again. Unfortunately he got caught in the forest and then Dana messed up in the Ledges big time. She took the wrong path from the Ledges and had to climb out of the pit.

Other than that, it was somewhat of an average run. Jason completed the Chamber and Shrine objectives quickly, so that's good. And yeah, the worst part about this run was Dana's yelling. You have no right to yell at your partner when all you are going to do when it is your turn is make bigger screw ups.

There seems to be way too many season one run left on this list. I guess I will start having to pick them off now.

Get rid of "The Oracle Bowl of Delphi." I honestly did not want to see Smashed Printing Plate eliminated before this one. Shane was a fast contestant and laid a nice path out for Jackie. On the other hand, she was slow and wasted too much time. In her defense though, I would've been confused in the Pirate's Cove though. I mean even Kirk did not know what to do until a good 15 seconds.

I can't believe Smashed Printing Plate is gone from the list. Though at least it was Top 20. If that one goes, so does, "The Dried Apple Half of William Tell." The layout was impossible and Brett did an okay job. It was Lauren that was a terrible player. You don't shout at your partner, then waste 57 seconds just getting to the King's Storeroom entrance. One of the most hypocritical players ever next to Dana.

Time for "The Paintbrush of Leonardo da Vinci" to go next. Its not even as bad of a loss than some of the other ones already eliminated (William Tell, Frederick Douglass, John Smith.) I blame the producers for all these piss poor season one runs because they would make these impossible deadends that would mess the contestants up. Sure, it was kind of the contestants fault to fall into them in the first place. But do you think they knew better in season one? I mean, why not let the doors leading to the Treasure Room open anyways?

I'm eliminating The Walking Stick of Harriet Tubman next. Chris was an above average contestant. He made solid progress before getting caught in the Shrine. I don't blame him for getting confused in the Dark Forest because the golden door was already open. He was probably thinking it was a trap of some sort, and it was with the temple guard, but it was going to be impossible to avoid him. Then Ryann happened. ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR PARTNER'S PATH! If she had done this, the stick would've been grabbed, I just know it. Overall, an okay run, but Ryann made it look bad. Gotta give Chris credit.

#15 goes to "Elizabeth I's Golden Ship".  This team was VERY unlucky for not finding their half-Pendant, and it did result in the quickest loss in history, but aside from that, they didn't really do anything wrong.  Both players were of moderate speed, and they could have at least used up all their time if they'd found the half Pendant.

The #14 spot is, "The Stone Marker of Leif Eiríkson." Much like the Paintbrush temple run, this team was just unlucky with a brutal dead end. Though it would have helped if Keely (sp?) had tried all three tongues in the Gargoyle Room. But still, why couldn't the producers just let the team enter the Treasure Room? :?

Time for my second elimination of the day. Finishing in lucky #13 is The Crown of Queen Nzinga. The team wasn't really that bad. The second runner cost the team by missing the obvious half pendant in the Swamp and then getting caught in the Dark Forest (only time a run ended in guard capture thanks to a tree). If this didn't happen, I have a feeling this team would've won. The only other way they would've lost is if they couldn't break the wall and were forced into the Mine Shaft from the Shrine. That would've been so mean, but hey, the producers were mean in The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora, so don't hold your breath here.

And the twelfth spot will go to "The Stolen Arm of Shiva". The only real problem with this run is the team is soooooooooooooooo slow in the temple. Even Kirk was shouting at them to hurry up at certain times. But at least the team had an idea what they were doing. Except in the Shrine of the Silver Monkey though. If Larry was not such a screwball in the Shrine in his run, then this would be nominated by me for the biggest fail of a monkey assembly.

The #12 spot is, "The Treasure Map of Jean Lafitte." It wasn't really a bad run, it was just really forgettable. Not to mention, taking 2 different paths was pretty dangerous. Especially since they didn't have full pendants.

Technically, I can vote again.

My first elimination of the new day and starting off the top 10 is The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King. The front runner never really got a chance to prove himself. It was the second runner that messed things up by being very slow-witted. I'll give her credit for finding the obvious half pendant though, something that was often missed in season 2 runs. The team also made nice progress despite being on the slow side.

"The Missing Weather Maps of Charles Lindbergh" goes next. Nick was actually a great contestant, but unfortunately he got paired up with the wits of Kim. The girl had NO idea what she was doing in the temple, and kept backtracking and moving sluggishly. Even when the Dark Forest door opened, she passed it up. But unlike the rest of the runs, at least she made it into the room with the artifacts, if that says much.

"The Stone Head of the Evil King" is the #8 spot. Tony did screw up with Medusa's Lair yes. But expecting 4 snakes to be jammed in the head is too much. No wonder the producers lowered the snake limit to 2 snakes.
