Legends Goes Endurance: Season One

Hey everyone! As you all know, I'm starting a new game where Legends victors and others all play on an Endurance-like system. It's gonna be a summer event which, sure enough starts off with Season 1 of Legends. here are the returning Legends victors of the opening season and their team colors in order by their respective temple layout:


BLUE TEAM
Jennifer and Damian (John Sutter and the Map to the Lost Gold Mine)

RED TEAM
Taylor and Becca (The Helmet of Genghis Khan)

BROWN TEAM
Mitchell and Emily (The Moccasins of Geronimo)

YELLOW TEAM
Danny and Tara (The Medal of Sir Edmund Hillary)

ORANGE TEAM
Tim and Retina (Alexander and the Gordian Knot)

PURPLE TEAM
David and Eusinia (King Tut's Cobra Staff)

GREEN TEAM
David and Candace (Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress)

GREY TEAM
Adam and Shannon (The Collar of Davy Crockett)


The pyramid pieces in order are Courage, Discipline, Leadership, Luck, Perseverance, Strength, Heart, Knowledge, Trust, Ingenuity, Teamwork and Friendship and the one and only user supporting the Legends victors still remaining by the end of the thread to accumulate all these pyramid pieces wins a new ranking and gets to make the next sticky topic!

So, let the games begin and the best man win as they say!

It's now time for the very first challenge, but it won't be your last for most of the teams. This challenge will in fact be your first Temple Mission and the first elimination!     

Anyway, if you watch Endurance or if you used to or still do, you must know that when one team wins the Temple Mission, they have the responsibility of selecting two teams that are gonna face elimination at the Temple of Fate. And obviously only one team returns to compete as the losing team gets eliminated. 

The first challenge that must be completed is a favorites one, and the theme is Favorite Temple Run Victory of Season 1, and the most popular choice among everyone is gonna allow several or a few teams into the higher points of winning (going by the furthest along rule, per se) and one in particular will win and have to post two teams they think deserve to go to the Temple of Fate, and the reasons why for both teams and that user can also even write their own drama and situations surrounding the decision (this constitutes for both Endurance Missions and Temple Missions)! 

Also, the deadline for the challenge is Thursday morning at 9.

I knew what Endurance was before, but I never really got into it.  I actually just went back and watched an entire season of it play through, and I do think this could be really fun if executed correctly.

The only problem is that I don't really understand what the Temple Mission is here.  Maybe I just don't understand the wording of it, but would you please clarify how the winner is decided?

The Temple Mission is just to name your favorite Temple Run Victory from Season 1, and once all the posts with that theme are counted, as Olmec would say, "the team that has the most popular choice or whoever's furthest along when this challenge ends wins!"

So I'll start by saying my favorite Season 1 Temple Run Victory (on behalf of Adam and Shannon) is The Snake Bracelet of Cleopatra 'cuz Robert and Tracy kept up their leading drive through the elimination rounds and an amazing Temple Run helped cap it off!

I suppose...but since I don't think anyone's picked a "losing" team, I guess it'll work.

Anyhow, I vote for David & Candace ("Lawrence of Arabia's Headdress"). Arguably the most exciting Temple Run from Season 1.

Anyone who hasn't taken these three teams yet that still need to meet the qualifications, they're still available for a few more hours, but then you have to play the Temple Mission shown on my previous post:

I've tallied up all the results despite the fact that one team didn't participate (which doesn't make that team in particular a target for the Temple) and the winner of the first Temple Mission is.............

Or in other words, TBK!!!  You downright and absolutely showed the best description of your (and several others') choice! You now have to choose two of the other 7 teams to face elimination at the Temple of Fate. If you've watched Endurance, you obviously realize two will battle it out at the Temple, but only one proceeds to the next round over the forthcoming months. And now for the creative part of your decision!  You get to write your own drama and situations involving the Legends contestants at their accommodations which could play a significant part in the challenge's outcome. I'll check back in a few hours for your decision!!

Again, I don't watch "Endurance", so I wouldn't know a thing about writing any drama-related stuff--you can write it if you want. However, I will pick two teams:

BROWN TEAM

Tim & Retina, "Alexander and the Gordian Knot"

Brown (TSM) and Orange (still open) pack their belongings, say their goodbyes to the others and arrive at the Temple of Fate, where two go to combat elimination, but only one will progress further into the competition.
Here's what happens; and you'll find out who's not gonna survive:

Round #1:
Wood floats on water -- Mitchell and Emily win the first round --

Round #2:
Fire burns and demolishes wood -- Tim and Retina tie it up, one round apiece --

Round #3:
Fire burns and demolishes wood -- Tim and Retina are heading back to the camp!--

 Sorry, TSM; it's a tad painful to say but your team has been eliminated. On the bright side, you can write a departure letter to the remaining teams and you can give one team in particular your Luck pyramid piece. Thanx for playing, Mitchell and Emily!
