The Origin of the Temple Run

I was just thinking about this a minute ago... how did the phrase ''temple run'' even come into existence? Was it ever used in the show? Why is it mentioned on every site that covers the show?

I'm fairly certain it was used on the show a couple times.

On today's episode, The Helmet of Joan of Arc, Kirk says at the end of the third temple game (I think) "This game is for the Temple Run." I'm not sure if he said that in any other episodes. My guess is that he did, but I can't think of any specific ones.
