The screen fades back to Josh standing next to a pile of inner tubes. ?Hello!? he says. ?Welcome back to Clockwork! It?s Round Two, and the money is worth more, and we?ve got some great Super Sloppy Stunts right here, ready to be played, so let?s get started, shall we??
The camera zooms out, and then Josh continues. ?We have some calamari rings over here?each of you has a pile?and when I say ?go?, you?re gonna be tossing these rings towards the poles and hopefully getting them on there. Once you get a ring over your pole, you have to run over there and pull on that cord, because let?s face it: calamari rings need tartar sauce, and you?re gonna pour lots of it all over those rings. The player that has the most rings on their pole at the end of 60 seconds is gonna win. Now, remember, during the Super Sloppy Stunts, first place is worth $100, second place is worth $75, and third is worth $50. Are you ready, players??
The players all shout and cheer in response. ?Okay, then let?s get started!? shouts Josh. ?On your mark, get set, GOOOO!?
The camera shows a view of the three poles, with rubber rings flying towards them, all missing. ?It looks like it might be awhile before one of our players actually gets a ring over their? uh, pole, there?? commentates Josh, as the players continue to toss the rings. [0:50] Rachel is first to get a ring over her pole, just managing to get it on without it bouncing off, and she pulls down on the cord, covering the ring?and herself, to some extent?in cream-colored slime with 43 seconds remaining. ?Score one for Rachel!? announces Josh, as the camera pans through the three players, each tossing ring after ring? but still missing. ?This is much more difficult than it looks, folks,? commentates Josh. [0:31] Benjamin finally gets a ring over, and runs over to pull the cord, releasing the tartar sauce on his ring as well. ?This stage is gonna be messy by the time we?re done with this stunt, I can tell,? says Josh, with 23 seconds on the clock. ?OH!? he shouts as one of Jeffrey?s rings swings around the pole and then falls off. ?That was so close? he almost got it? oh, nice job?Benjamin got another ring, now he just has to get the tartar sauce?? With 14 seconds remaining, Benjamin brings his score up to two, while the other players still miss. ?Just a few seconds left...? declares Josh, as the camera zooms in on Rachel continuing to toss rings?but shortly after, a horn blows.
?Ooh, okay?time is up!? announces Josh, running over to the players. ?That was difficult, wasn?t it? Okay, well, Benjamin, you got two rings and the tartar sauce, so you get $100, Rachel gets $75 with one ring, and Jeffrey gets $50 with no rings. We are going to change those scores, and play our second stunt. Come on right over here??
Josh and the players walk over to a platform encircled by a knee-height glass wall. ?All right, you guys just head up there?? says Josh, pointing at a set of stairs at the side of the platform. ?? and once you do, you?ll notice that the floor is covered with liquid. Your job is to sweep that liquid using the brooms we?re gonna give you towards your container. The player with the most liquid inside their container at the end of 60 seconds is gonna win this stunt. On your mark, get set? GO!?
As the clock begins to tick, droplets of slime can be seen splashing around the stage as the three players start sliding through the liquid on the platform, sweeping in different directions, trying to get the slime into their containers. ?It?s a really tough game, even if you don?t think so,? says Josh with 48 seconds left, ?because there?s just so much going on?and it?s hard not to slip, too.? The camera pans back and forth between the containers?where we see that Benjamin is in the lead?and to the platform, where the players are standing close to them, sweeping all the slime near that area in first. [0:36] ?No more slime there?now they have to find some more,? commentates Josh as Benjamin slowly treads across the platform, returning sweeping a large amount of liquid into his container. ?Wow, he is blazing!? shouts Josh, as the camera zooms in on Benjamin?s container?which is ? full?and then to Rachel?s and Jeffrey?s, which are both about half full. ?Looks like Benjamin might be the first person to finish this game before time is up!? he exclaims. [0:19] Jeffrey and Rachel both sweep faster and faster, trying to get as much liquid?which is quickly running out?into their containers, but with 11 seconds on the clock, Benjamin fills his container to the brim, a few streams of it trickling over the top. ?Wow, that is amazing!? yells Josh as the clock stops abruptly. ?Nice job!?
He runs over to the players, who are still slightly confused, but are helped down by the spotters. ?Let?s see what we?ve got over here,? Josh then says, bending down to check the containers. ?Well, Benjamin got his container filled all the way to the top, and he wins? and it looks like Jeffrey takes second place, and Rachel third. We?re done here, let?s head back up here so that we can check out the current standings? come on up, guys?? He runs back up the steps and takes his place behind his lectern, and the contestants soon follow suit.
?We?ve changed those scores, and now let?s have a look at where all of y?all stand, shall we?? continues Josh. ?Benjamin, you?re WAY out in the lead with $400?? The camera pans through each of the players as Josh reads their score ??Rachel, you are in second place with $175, and Jeffrey, you currently only have $125. Everything could change in this next round though, because we?re gonna be giving away some SERIOUS money now.
?I?m going to be asking $25 questions for 90 seconds straight. Right answers equal money, wrong answers just mean we move on. This is our final round, so Jeffrey, you could really use the bucks here. Hands on your buzzers, players?this is for the Time Twister, too?and here we go? How many sides does a quadrilateral have: three, four, or eight??
Jeffrey is first to buzz in: ?Four??
?Correct,? replies Josh. ?But let?s see if you can tell me what the capital of Thailand is: is it Phuket, Bangkok, or Ho Chi Minh??
Benjamin slams down on his buzzer: ?Bangkok!?
?Yep, he knew that one, all right,? remarks Josh. ?But? do you know which one of these countries is NOT in Europe: Hungary, Croatia, or Turkey??
A few seconds pass without a reaction until a bell sounds. ?Time?s up!? announces Josh. ?The correct answer was Turkey. Now, what is pepperoni made from: salami??
Benjamin interrupts: ?Salami.?
?That is correct indeed,? answers Josh. ?Pink is made by adding the color white to the color red. Does this make pink: a tint, a shade, or a shadow of red??
Rachel buzzes in: ?A tint???
?Yes, that?s right!? exclaims Josh. ?I didn?t actually know that before. Anyway, what is the name of the skirt-looking piece of clothing that Scottish men sometimes wear??
Benjamin cuts him off again: ?Kilts!?
?Correct,? Josh says. ?So, can anyone tell me which of these foods is NOT from Italy: spaghetti, pizza, or burritos??
Benjamin rings in: ?Uh, burritos!?
?Yes!? replies Josh. ?Burritos are from Mexico. So which of these fast food chains is most likely to sell burritos: A&W, Taco Bell, or Burger King??
Benjamin slams down again: ?Taco Bell.?
?That is correct,? says Josh. ?Benjamin is blazing today, folks! In which country would you find the city of Kiev: Azerbaijan, Ukraine, or Russia??
Jeffrey buzzes in: ?Uh? Russia??
?No, the answer is actually Ukraine,? reveals Josh. ?That?s okay, though, let?s see if you can answer this question? How many days are there in a leap year??
After a few seconds, Rachel hits her buzzer: ?366??
?Correct!? answers Josh. ?Add February 29th and you have 366 days. So, we refer to a certain silvery foil as ?tin foil?, but it?s not actually made of tin. What is it usually made of: silver, aluminum??
Benjamin interjects: ?Aluminum!?
?Correct again,? says Josh. ?All right, let?s see? What is a tributary: a type of duck, a river flowing into another river, or a river flowing into an ocean??
Jeffrey buzzes in: ?A river flowing? into another river???
?Yes, that is right,? says Josh. ?Which of these animals do NOT lay eggs: fish, crocodiles, or elephants??
Benjamin buzzes in: ?Elephants!?
?You are correct again!? shouts Josh. ?In the nursery rhyme ?Hush, Little Baby?, who was going to buy the baby all the items in the rhyme: the baby?s mother, the baby?s father, or the baby?s uncle??
Rachel rings in: ?The mother???
?Hush, little baby, don?t say a word, mama?s gonna buy you a mockingbird,? recites Josh. ?Yes, it is the baby?s mother! Which of these companies manufacturers the Milky Way candy bar: Nestl?, Mars, or Wrigley?s??
There is a silence until a bell rings to signify that? ?Time?s up!? says Josh. ?The answer was Mars. Now, who can tell??
Josh is interrupted by the ringing of an alarm clock. ?Ooh, that?s our game, folks!? announces Josh after it stops. ?Let?s see how our players did?? The camera pans through each of the players as Josh announces their results.
?Benjamin, you answered seven questions correctly for $175, so that brings you up to an impressive total today of $575! Congratulations!? The audience applauds briefly before Josh continues.
?Rachel, you answered two questions correctly for $50, so you have $225. Jeffrey, you also answered two questions correctly for $50, so that brings you up to a total of $175?Benjamin has won today?s game of Clockwork!? The lights on Benjamin?s lectern start flashing as confetti shoots up from around it.
?Benjamin, you will be moving on to the Time Twister,? explains Josh, ?but first, no one goes away empty-handed on this show. Jeffrey, first things first, we?re going to raise your score to $200 so you?ll have more money to take home, and also, this parting gift for you and Rachel that our announcer, Brad, is going to tell you about??
Brad announces the prize:
?Josh, today?s contestants are leaving with a $50 gift card to Walmart. Now you can shop for anything and everything at the nearest Walmart department store, or online at Walmart.com. Walmart?save money, live better.?
We fade back to Josh, now standing next to his own podium with Benjamin, next to a small button on the wall. ?Well, Benjamin,? says Josh, ?here at Clockwork, we have a tradition. And that tradition allows our winning contestants to slime our losing contestants. Would you like to continue that tradition??
?Yeah, sure,? replies Benjamin.
?All right, well, on the count of three, push that button, and we?ll see what happens,? instructs Josh, as Benjamin places his hand over the button. ?Ready? One? two? three!?
The audience cheers as Benjamin hits the button, covering Rachel and Jeffrey in an amber-colored slime. ?Whoa!? exclaims Josh, as the podiums begin to spin back around and disappear. ?Thanks for playing! But when we come back, Benjamin here?s gonna run that crazy Time Twister course?so don?t go anywhere!? The audience is seen exiting through a mist-filled doorway marked ?Time Twister? above them. A slow-motion replay of Rachel and Jeffrey?s slimings is shown, then we fade to commercial.
