I hate the Golden Cricket cage one also. The other team (Blue Barrucudas? I forgot the team that played the Silver Snakes) would've done 10x better in the temple. How did John and Tia go to the temple again anyways? I remember Tia tying her game, and they barely won their team game. If the Blue Barrucudas won the final temple game, they would've gone to the temple with two pendants. And the temple run is just awful. 
They went against the Purple Parrots in that episode. And I strongly agree with you, ANY team would've done better than them. John lost his game, and Tia tied hers. And they won the third game literally, just barely. It's bad enough that the Purple Parrots are considered "the loser team" but when they lose to one of the worst teams ever, it just makes the episode/temple run COMPLETELY unwatchable. And anyone that doesn't understand a simple objective in the Heart Room, should NOT be on the show. The "Golden Cricket Cage of Khan" is BY FAR, the worst temple run of all time.
And I completely agree about "The Keys to the Alhambra" as well. There was nothing positive about that episode whatsoever. I'm pretty sure the Silver Snakes in that episode would've done a MUCH better job than the Red Jaguars did. I mean Steve was pretty fast and sort of smart, even with his "direct path" plan. Lisa on the other hand, was just....stupid. But the team was still way too undeserving of entering Olmec's temple. While "Cricket Cage" is the worst temple run, "The Keys to the Alhambra" is the worst episode EVER.
