Iterview With "Tiffani"

Yeah, like the interview with Heather from, "Snowcone of Mt. Kilimanjaro" made its way to Aaron's site a few months ago, and one of the tape trading dudes interviewed the REAL Joel not too long ago either. And both those interviews seemed real too. It'd be interesting reading yet another interview from another contestant, I like reading about the audition process and some of the behind the scenes stuff. But anyways yeah, Tiffiani's interview wasn't real and....thats not cool.

Agreed 100%.

If I could just choose any one real contestant to interview out of all the ones out there, I'd want someone from the beginning or ending of a season.  I'd probably want to talk with Sabrina from "Blackbeard's Treasure Map" (I'm convinced that episode we saw is the actual pilot, not a redone ep with the same name as I think the theory was passed around some time) to see how the show actually started up.

There was an interview with Heather from the Snow Cone ep? I must've missed that one.
If you have seen all 120 full episodes of Legends, copy and paste this into your profile for all to see.

Yeah, right here: http://geocities.com/bluebarracudas123/Heather_Interview.html
^ There was a topic started about it in the Treasure Room, just nobody ever responded to it.

I'd also like to interview Sabrina as well, just to get the full story on what really happened when her episode was filming. Or, maybe an interview with one of the kids from, "The Golden Cup of Belshazzar."

At least it wasn't as bad as the "Joel Simmons" interview I got about a year after starting my site. I and long-time fans of TKS will always be scarred by the rampant poor grammar and spelling issues within it. The guy who posed as Joel eventually fessed up with the explanation that he didn't think I'd answer his questions via e-mail unless he was worth my time. An interesting approach...

What I did for the Tiffani incident and all interviews afterward was ask for a picture of the contestant's t-shirt distributed on the show, or if that was unavailable, a picture of the contestant with a hand-drawn sign reading "Legends" visible within the frame. The "Tiffani" poser couldn't produce either. The approach isn't entirely foolproof, but it's a lot better than absentmindedly posting what people send in. Hopefully it has helped keep my site's credibility fairly high.

I've actually received a few additional interviews for the site, but I've chosen not to post them, just because I don't want to go through the hassle of verifying each of them. They usually make it to Aaron's site anyway.

Quote from: "Purple Parrots Fan"
and one of the tape trading dudes interviewed the REAL Joel not too long ago either.

I have 3 questions (color coded):
Ed, I've NEVER seen the "Tiffani" OR "Joel" interviews before, can you PLEASE provide me with URL's to those interviews, or copies of them via email if you took them down? (I want to see them so I can judge them for myself)

Ed, if you need someone to go through the painstaking verification process for interviews, then why haven't you asked me if I'd do it? I'd represent TKS and report my findings to you. (Because GOD AND YOU BOTH KNOW that LEGENDS is still strong in my MIND, HEART, AND SOUL)[/size]

PPF, can you PLEASE provide me with a link to the REAL Joel's interview, so that I may read it?

Sure, here it is: (the real Joel)
http://www.angelfire.com/planet/rinkerman/interview4.html

and here's the interview from "Tiffani"
http://www.angelfire.com/hiphop/thesilvermonkey/tiffani.htm

If you compare those two interviews, you can totally tell which one is more real.

GOOD NEWS!!! I submitted Heather for recognition as a Legends contestant on imdb.com, and she was just approved for a credit on their website! This CONFIRMS that Heather is a bona fide Legend of the Hidden Temple.

As I was always curious about reading the interviews that one would have to proofread to see if it's real or not, I wonder if it would be okay if you could post them here. I'm not sure you would approve for a reason, but I would really like to personally read them, mostly for curiosity.

Actually I meant the interviews that he may not have put on his website as of yet or am I confused because he did say that there were interviews that he has gotten and wasn't sure if it seemed to be BS.

Here's a list of some fake interviews and false information that I posted, or nearly posted, to the site.

  • The first, as we all know, is the "Tiffani" interview here.
(Notice that this page is complete, except for the link from the Life on Legends section.)
  • The second is information compiled from a very strange article about Kirk Fogg from what I later discovered was an imaginary news station. I posted this to the website way back when I was in eighth grade, but took it down shortly afterward. (Here.) This page was the entirety of the very short-lived Whatever Happened to Kirk Fogg? section of the website.
  • Finally, here is a fake interview from somebody claiming to be Joel. Believe it or not, even this too was posted at one point when I didn't know any better. For some reason, the page is deleted from the website, but here is the direct e-mail I received...

    Quote
When I saw an add in the paper for a try out for this one thing, I didn't
really look at it,but the one thing that caught my eye was it would be on
live TV.I asked my mom if I could try out.She said yes but don't be mad if
you don't make it.Then my dad said yes, but he said there will be hundreds
of people there. The try out was in one week so I had to train hard.First I
took out my soccer ball and started doing toe touches and popcorn
drills(Bouncing the ball on your knees). After an hour a day each day my dad
took me to a work out gym(You didn't have to be 18 back then) where I would
go lift weights and do sit ups and push ups. There was a pool there too and
from the websites I looked on, you had to cross a moat. So I would do about
10 laps and get out. When I found out there was a Steps of Knowlage I kind
of got worried because I wasn't that good at ELA or Math. Then I found out
it was only about Social Studies. I had a A- in Scocial. Two days before the
tryout my dad took me to a rock climbing wall where I was ok at. Then the
    day came...

My dad was right! There where hundreds of people there. Some you could tell
weren't going to make it because they were fat.First I had to go through an
obstical course which I did pretty well on. Then we had to do push ups or
sit ups. I choose sit ups and did 47(I think) in a minute. Then the written
test came... I thought I would do horrible on it. I only got Two wrong! Then
the phone wrang about three weeks later. My mom screamed then I heard her go
to my dad who gave a whoopee! Then my dad told me to come here and told me
the good news. I had made it!

It felt like forever before the day came. When it came I had been asigned to
    the
Silver Snakes. Like Nick Borey had said before, You got K-Mart Crap. The
    moat started and we weren't
in first. We finally rang in in third place. Then after he announced the
crappy moat prize(Candy)we were sent back to
the locker room. We said good-bye to the teams that didn't make it.The boys
that didn't make it were yelling at there girl partner
that they suck. The Girls were crying because they didn't get to go on and
that they got candy(LoL). I talked to my partner
and asked her if she was good at social. She said yes. Two hours later we
went onto the Steps of Knowlage. I was so glad that we made it
    passed the dredded steps.

Then we went out to KFC which was ok. Kirk turned out to be a pretty nice
    man.
I thought he would be so greddy because he was a TV Star. After Lunch about
    another
Two hours we did the temple games. I won, my partner didn't. Then we won the
    last game.
After I heared we were going to the temple I kind of got ######.Finally the
    best part of all...
    THE                TEMPLE

They gave us a sheet of paper and a marker to write out our stragety. We
    also got to meet
Dee Bradley Baker, who is a really cool guy(Thats probably why he's played a
    part in over 100 shows)
Finally the temple run came. I thought I knew the temple gaurds were in the
observetory and crypt and heart room
I didn't care about the clock. I was glad I took the ledges because the
gaurd was in the crypt. In the dark forest, I
was carefull not to get caught.I actually thought I wasn't going to make it
until I raced down the Stairs. My partner got in that girly girl
voice because we were going to go on a vacation.

I really didn't know I had the Second best time on Legends.
Ed, This is written for you and if someopne tries to copy this
letter, you have the original copy
