Trust me, this was supposed to happen. They're starting to show the cycle from late July. It looked like this...

WEDNESDAY 07/19/06:

The Smashed Printing Plate of Fredrick Douglass
The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora

THURSDAY 07/20/06:

The Bifocal Monocle of One-Eyed Jack
Ponce de Leon & the Lost Fountain of Youth/The Water Bottle of Ponce de Leon

FRIDAY 07/21/06:

The Shriveled Hand of Efoua
The War Fan of the 47 Ronin

SATURDAY 07/22/06:

The Ivory Elephant of Shahrazad/Scheherazade
The Stolen Arm of Shiva

SUNDAY 07/23/06:

The Lion-Headed Bracelet of Chandragupta
The Sacred Ring of Sultan Suleiman

MONDAY 07/24/06:

The Milk Bucket of Freydis
The Helmet of Genghis Khan

...

So they shoewd it 4 days earlier, so what? I still feel like we're gonna get the episodes shown above.

Am I the only one who remembers they took a one-day break from the 20-or-less-episode cycle somewhere in October? They showed The Useless Map of the Chibcha Chieftain and The Lucky Pillow of Annie Taylor, and I was hoping that would end the cycle.  But no, they started it up again the next day.

Olmec, I really hope you're right, but with another  repeat of a pair of episodes we've seen eight times in two months, it seems kinda unlikely. (And to think if they're not staring up the cycle again they skipped over 6 episodes I never seen.  :( )

I nearly had a seizure when I saw the Milkbucket episode. Let's just pray that they start showing new episodes.

I hear ya.  And to think they were almost out of the cycle.  I was REALLY hoping to see the Shriveled Hand of Efoua and the War Fan of the 47 Ronin.  I know they're bad episodes, but I've never seen them before.

Are those the 6 episodes that I have never seen?

I'm sorry if they are.  I was ready to smash a hole thru the plasma in the kitchen as soon as I heard Olmec say "The Two-Cornered Hat of Napoleon." I was right? it's like what haqpened back in October.

Well, if it's any consolation, the two runs today are two I don't have.  It looks like I have to bust out the camera.

Somebody remind me not to watch The Melted Head of Madame Tussaud.  I HATED Jennifer from that run? she kept nagging even when her partner was doing okay, and she was straining her voice thru the whole thing.  Am Ithe only one who thinks Jennifer was worse than Dana?

No.  It's a very hard call to make between the two, but Dana was a *little* justified in her bitchiness, considering how much Jason screwed up.  The boy on in the "Melted Head" episode wasn't the brightest either, but Jennifer was screaming at him even when he wasn't doing anything wrong.  And decibel-wise, she had Dana beat.

Dana is much worse. She looked angry the entire time. Jennifer seemed a bit overexcited, but not mean spirited.

Jennifer was over-excited the whole damn episode.  It was almost to the point where her excitement looked staged.  (Worse than Lacey's from the Sforza ep.)

I agree. She was like giving thumbs up and number 1 symbols to the cameras all the time. She definitely wanted to be on TV.
