Strange, especially considering nobody is even running GAS...it kind of, just runs itself now by some computer.

Nick GAS was seriously messed up until 5 minutes ago. It was skipping portions of programming (like cutting off the last half of Get the Picture or eliminating the first 10 minuets of GUTS) causing programs to come on too early/late. Nick Arcade was on at 8am (as oppose to it's usual 4am slot), which was really werid. They just now got back on schedule at 9am, putting GUTS on at it's normal time. Hopefully it won't happen again, but you never know about Nick GAS and it's glitches.

They must've known it was my birthday

One thing that not so many people know about computer hard drives is that if you keep going over the same information (sectors), nonstop and over-and-over again, is that eventually the disk will fail. Maybe it was this fact that caused the glitches?

I don't know how they store the episodes, but there's a million things it could have been.

That sounds like a reasonable explanation.  I wonder if it was corrected because people contacted Nickelodeon telling them that the channel didn't work, or if someone working there noticed something wrong with it, or if it just fixed itself...

Actually, I was talking about all the "cues" that change the network from one show to another. However, if Nick GaS stores its episodes by means of raw data (computer files), Ed might also be on the right track as well.

I think that it most likely got fixed because someone who works there noticed the problem, SMP. I say this because when has Viacom actually listened to what "civilians" have had to say as of late, and also I think that GaS (having already been experiencing problems) COULD NOT have fixed itself. (When glitches like that happen, human interference is required)

I think the last time I turned on NICK GAS (about  a week or two ago), the audio wasn't working.

It has been on this computer-controlled loop for about 3 years now. So who knows when the network will 'crash'.

Sometimes the screen will go black for several minutes or audio will be missing, but I haven't seen that in the last week or so.

I believe Nick GAS's 9th year on TV is tommorow, and here's where Nick GAS' rotation of Legends is at on July 31st (8 months after GAS turned into the N for most):

#86: The Lion-Slashed Jacket of Sacagawea
#87: The Secret Map of the Bandit Queen

Speaking about the "The Lion-Slashed Jacket of Sacagawea" episode, its found its way to TurboNick. So everybody go and download it.

Nick GAS has survived into 2009.  :D..

but it's 12:30am, the real question.. is 6:00am. Or maybe it'll be another full year.
