Oh! Well, in the Shriveled Hand, the players tied the first two games, so the score was actually 2-1, not 2-1.5. I'm not sure if you were looking for that or not.

That still counts, since The Imperial Purple Robe of Empress Theodora was 2-1 Green.

So we're back to "No Temple Guard" day already.  Somehow it doesn't seem like a celebration anymore.

Sorry to double-post, but I found this much earlier in the thread and was thinking about the same thing yesterday:

Quote from: ""nicklegends""
Quote
By the way, how The Very Tall Turban of Ahmed Baba & The Water Bottle of Ponce De Leon had the most number of accomplished room objectives (9), the Pendant of Kamehameha had 10. Just saying!

That is true on a team level, however, on an individual level, The Water Bottle and Tall Turban episodes still hold the record. 9 is the theoretical maximum for completed objectives by a single player, because a player is forced to go through two temple guard rooms by their tenth room entered. One could argue the Dark Forest evasion would raise that maximum, but, meh, I'm not taking it that far.

Unless Room #10 was The Chamber of the Sacred Markers and the artifact was in the King's Storeroom.  The Temple Guard could come out from the sliding curtain thing in front of the ladder going up (like he did in the Upside-Down Compass of Henry Hudson.  Sherra went up after the Temple Guard took her Pendant.)

The Cracked Crown of the Spanish King
&
The Dragon Lady and the Blue Pearl

Just something I noticed about the Cracked Crown episode. The temple games could have potentially resulted in a 2-2 pendant tie. The boys could have tied in that mountain climbing game with the pegs. The girls could have both held on for the entire 60 seconds on the rotating horse game. Then, the teams could have knocked down the same amount of gaurds in the cannonball-slingshot game.  :P

Couldn't almost all be a potential 2-2 tie?

Well, perhaps, but you have to avoid pretty much all games that are "race to the finish" style. For if neither team gets to the end, it goes to the team furthest along rule, where is is almost impossible for a tie to be declared.

Yeah, like the third game in The Lost Lion Tail of Little John or the second one in The Melted Head of Madame Tussaud.

that one time in pounce de leon and the lost fountain the game where you fill water buckets would have to be incredible close even for the buckets just to be kind of balanced

I forgot about that game.  Or the one in the Golden Earring of Henry Morgan. (I guess the sail out from the dock, drop the thing and sail back wouldn't be tied unless the players were complete idiots.  They put too much time on the clock for that game.)

Nope. It's actually pretty rare when all 3 temple games can end in a tie.

For instance, in today's other episode, The Dragon Lady and The Blue Pearl, there was only a potential for a tie in one of the temple games (and ironically, they actually did tie).

Did Kirk actually say it backwards or did you?...
