This is my personal opinion, but I've always thought that Cristina and her partner were screwed out of a win because of a mistake in scoring the "Attack Philadelphia" temple game. I may be wrong but I think that that last panel that Kirk said "No" to WAS in the right position, only upside-down. If there are any who can verify or disprove this, I'm willing to hear you out.

That would be correct - I remember that - albeit I don't remember what episode you're talking about.  The Electrified Key, maybe?  Something from S2.

Wait, what were the scores on that game? I remember one team trailed the other by one correct position (and one spelled "AT-TA-CK-PH-IL-IA",) but which team was ahead?

The Score that Kirk counted was 4-3 Green Monkeys. He said no to the Silver Snake's 4th panel which is obviously IL, only upside-down. I don't remember who uploaded that full ep, but if you stop it at the 14:28 mark of the video, it's clear that the panel is IL, IN THE CORRECT PLACE, only upside-down. It's because of this point that I think the Silver Snakes were screwed out of the Temple Run Victory. Because if the game had been scored CORRECTLY, the Snakes would've had TWO FULL PENDANTS in the Temple Run and would've been able to go on after being caught by their third guard.

If I recall, didn't Olmec say the panels had to be in the right position?  Position includes orientation.

:?: I don't know? I just read the official Merriam-Webster definitions of "position", and they made no mention of orientation, just sequence.

Does it really matter? They're not going to use the word "orientation" on a kids' show, and it's ten years past.

I hate to burst your bubble, but they still could've won if Cristina hadn't missed the half-pendant on the Pit-Observatory actuator that James had signaled to her during the run.

I hate to burst YOUR bubble TSM, but without the miscount of the temple game's score, they WOULDN'T have needed to find a hidden half-pendant to begin with!

I doubt a win would've happened anyways, at the rate the players were going.  They only cleared four rooms before the game ended in the fifth with only 1:10 remaining.  Not very fast.

Yeah, they may have won the TV, but not the vacation.

i don't think they would've even won the TV unless the direct path worked.  Otherwise Cristina would've had to climb down, i'm betting that would've taken a little time to notice, and she might've had a little trouble in the Jester's Court.
